Waited over 30 min for food that i ordered in person when it wasn't busy and watched over 20 sandwiches be made as i waited for my dinner

Honestly highly recommend not ordering from this store. Order is always wrong not sure why they think everyone drinks Gatorade zero or diet fucking tea but if you order from Uber or DoorDash and you order a regular drink they'll give you diet not sure why. My smoothie tastes like watered down asshole not what I ordered at all. This store is run and managed by a bunch of incompetent monkeys. read more

This Wawa is one of my greatest sources of sadness. Yes, it is a very nice location, it's big, there's parking, it's clean, the staff is nice, BUT they never have the filled pretzels when I go. I've gone 3 times in the past month, exclusively for a sweet cream cheese filled pretzel each time and they haven't had them out a single time. The first time I was on my lunch break so I couldn't wait. The second time I waited 15 minutes for them to do a restock. And today, they said no more were coming out. It truly breaks my heart. Plz fix the stuffed pretzel situation. read more

I come here often and am very pleased. The staff has always been nice to me! They are always stocked up with everything as well! There's always a line for the tire air pump, I think it's because it's one of the only free ones in the area. read more

Pretty nice Wawa with what I think are unusually good prices for gas for this part of PA, and friendly staff. I had bought gas but the machine was out of paper for receipts, so someone inside was really great about printing one out for me. Similar to another review I'm peeking at, I have to deduct a star because the bathroom was pretty disgusting. I really had to go, so I went inside while filling up my tank, but it smelled so bad in there that I tried my best to hold my breath in there. Other than that, pretty good spot, and I'm sure I'll be back for their cheap gas! read more

Typically a nice wawa, but I had to take away a star because typically the bathrooms at this location are typically gross...I know that it's hard to keep a business bathroom clean...but this particularly location needs to try a little harder with their bathrooms, other than that everything was great, I was able to come here to do just what I intended to do which was get my caffeine and gas as GO.... Ms Linda was attentive of me at the coffee station she noticed that my coffee pot was almost empty and she quickly replaced it, Lenisha was the cashier she was polite, aisles were fully stocked, coffee station fully stocked ..my experience today was pretty solid aside from the bathrooms. read more

This is my staple Wawa. The women cashiers are fantastic and always pleasant. They always wish you a good day and are efficient at their jobs. Any holdup is usually due to a customer not prepared to pay or searching through their wallet/purse. The food is generally on point and consistent. They have a slight attitude behind the line but I can appreciate that as those tickets just keep coming in. That said, they aren't without their mistakes. For example I ordered a Cin. Raisin Bagel with Berry Cream Cheese and I got an Everything bagel instead. Not so yummy. Their parking lot is by far the best in the area for wawa especially comparing to the other nearby locations. All in all--this is a solid operarion Update (2/1/2020): they strike again! Ordered the Roast Beef Club special and instead of Roast Beef they put ham on the club. The struggle is real if the food line doesn't know the difference between roast beef and ham. read more

Horrible service!!!! Waited 25 minutes for a quesadilla and chicken strips on 9/2 from 8-8:25 pm. The store was packed---people waiting for orders-- 3 workers in the food area took their sweet time--cared less people were waiting. It was an assembly line---One dressed the buns---the second person (guy) put the ingredients in the sandwiches the third person wrapped and called out numbers (she just stood there). Maybe it's me--but I think it would make more sense if all 3 made sandwiches--3 times faster!!! Service little better during the day. Yes, this Wawa is one of many, but it happens to be the closest one to the Schuylkill River Trail in Philly, outside of Center City. If you go there at a peak time like I did, it's going to be busy, but you can still get your fresh sandwich or other food without having to wait that long. And the staff doesn't get flustered when it's busy either, which speaks volumes to customers. If you choose to eat it onsite (outdoors, of course), there are no tables but you can "make your own" along the wall at the right end of the building as you enter. Gas prices at this posting were the same as in neighboring Montgomery County. Two caveats: 1. The trail goes through Manayunk, and to get from there to Roxborough you have to climb a big hill somewhere. Since I was coming off Kelly Drive I just stayed on Ridge Avenue, it's less steep that way but a little longer. 2. You may want to BRING A CARD (credit, debit, gift card) because they may not have any change to give you if you pay with cash. Yes, you read that right. How do they get away with that? read more

I wish I could give this Wawa five stars because I get my gas there all the time and I love their Hoagies. I also think they make a great frozen mocha cappuccino as well as other flavored drinks. The problem with this Wawa is that they're always out of something. One day I went in to get two breakfasts Sizzlis, and they were out of eggs. I was excited about having them for breakfast until they inform me that they're not able to make them. I asked them why they didn't just go to the market which was two blocks away and buy eggs and they said they're not allowed to I guess it's all a special mix that they have to use anyway no Sizzlis. 2 days ago I went in for a frozen Wawa drink and I wasn't able to get it then because they were out of ice. This does not make sense to me because there's a market two blocks away that sells ice. Anyway there weren't allowed to buy ice and the Machine wasn't making ice fast enough in their shop. There is also a third occasion where the same thing happened I don't even remember what it was that I ordered but again I was very disappointed because they were out of one of the ingredients. When I told the young lady behind the counter then I'm getting tired of coming in and experiencing this inventory problem she told me that it happens almost every day that is their out of something that often. She told me where the next Wawa was and although it wasn't far away if you drew a straight line , there were many turns and stops and the ride over would have been a nightmare. This is easily the slowest wawa I've ever been to. I hate that it's the only one close to me at the moment. It should NOT take 15+ minutes to make your order. This place is an embarrassment. This is perhaps (hopefully?) the most hypocritical review I'll ever write. In the summer of 2011 I finally got my driver's license and a car, and so now my review is written as a driver instead of a pedestrian. I am giving it 4 stars only because I can still barely remember how it felt to be a target as I raced across the lot to get to the store, but as a driver, this Wawa is 5 stars without any doubt. Free Air Machine that is rarely out of order, and when it breaks is rapidly repaired! It's the only free air that I know of in the neighborhood. Cheapest Gas in the Roxborough area (though if you are down in myk, the gas station on the left as you go up Belmont Ave--not the Sunoco on your right-- is always about 4 cents cheaper) and there are 16 pumps! (despite that, it's still jammed on Friday mornings). The Staff is incredibly friendly and mostly really fast. The deli counter gets swamped (next paragraph will explain why), but the deli people work hard and quickly. The check out counter sometimes gets swamped, too, but it's rarely more than a minute or two before at least one other person comes out to open up another register. I believe the Store Manager is this one tall, young guy that I see working the registers once in a while-- he must be fantastic! The store is always clean, the people are always friendly, and it is always well-staffed. It's a very well-run wawa. The Hoagies here are better than your average wawa-- a little heavier, a little fresher, a little faster. The hot food is better, too-- mashed potatoes are consistently good, stuffing is never soggy, etc. If you go to wawa, you know what i mean. I don't drink coffee, but there always appears to be fresh pots of a million flavors. I love Wawa, and i especially love this particular one. One day I may forget the cringing fear I felt as a person scurrying across the giant, dangerous lot/gas area on foot and be able to giev them the 5 stars the actual Wawa deserves, but until then, the most i can do is 4. read more

I don't always pump my own gas, but when I do, I go to Wawa. Their prices are the best in the area, and the pumps are in good condition. The little things in life make me happy: when the pump asks me for my zip code to authenticate my credit card, the numeral keys on the pump actually work. Living the dream. Too, as Emmett and others note--free air! I don't know of any other places in the area where you can fill your tires for free. I come here probably once every couple of months to top off my tires or my wife's. #proTip I don't think I've ever been inside, but it looks fine from the free air pump. read more

They moved across the street (but on the same block, just a little bit west to Cinnaminson St.) They now have cheap gas, a lot more space inside, and the same staff (from what I can tell). It's very car-friendly, as there is a light which allows one to take that elusive left onto Ridge. To make this a true update, I now order "a lot" of mayo on my Italian hoagies. It's gas station food. So you get what you pay for, and sometimes, you don't even get that. Sautéed onions, more like steamed in liquid and then dumped in the bottom of the bread, which completely turns to mush as a result. My husband and I both ordered chicken cheesesteaks, with completely different toppings and cheese. And I'm puzzled as to why they even tape the order to the outer wrapper because the sandwich maker obviously didn't bother to see which toppings went on which sandwich. No consistency as to how the sandwich is assembled. Husband had cheese on top, mine was on the bottom, which only further intensified the mush that used to be the bottom of the roll. I understand mistakes are made, and it's fast food.. at a gas station. But survey sites exist for a reason, and I'm just trying to give others a head's up. A newer location, usually decent gas prices. The marketplace is usually clean and stocked, however the island in the middle with the fresh-made items, yogurt, etc is usually picked over and needing some attention. Every time I order a sandwich, however, it's a disaster. The last time I got something here it was the bacon avocado sandwich and the trash I got in the wrapper was all smashed like it was beaten with a baseball bat. While my general expectations for a sandwich made at a gas station are not at all high, I do expect it to come to me looking like a sandwich. read more

I love Wawa, but I hate this new location. The gas today was 10 cents cheaper than the Sunoco down the road, but maybe that's because they are still in the "Grand Opening" phase. so, yay for that. BUT it feels like a truck stop off the highway. It's so big and the parking lot is huge and it's right next to that gigantic new CVS. Ya, I realize big companies are all over. But Wawa was always good about flowing with the vernacular of the neighborhood. Now it just feels like a typical suburban,"big box" location. and because the lot is so big it's like a journey getting in and out and maneuvering around cars. Since moving to the area, this has become my go-to Wawa. Obviously, all Wawas are awesome, however, I really do like this one. They have a gas station and prices are always pretty low. Also, they have a small parking lot in the front which usually isn't full. And, a large parking lot in the back. I think the back parking lot is meant for people like me who suck at driving. They have everything here that they would have at your typical wawa: coffee, pretzels, etc. The deli food is delicious. The staff here is extremely friendly which always brightens your mood when you're stopping by at 8am. read more

I kinda can't believe that I'm reviewing a Wawa right now, but this particular Wawa has f--king earned it. Why, might you ask? Well first off, it's a clean modern location -- not one of those old towny ones. That said, this Wawa is still great for people watching -- hung over bros, stoned teenagers, hard-as-nails Philly townies, cops from the station across the street, construction workers...the list goes on. Wawa is great but this specific location is ok...it's new an clean so that's always a plus but the people making the food are ridiculously slow!! And for as slow they are you would think the sandwiches wouldn't be messy and the orders would be correct...not the case! Too much sauce making the bread soggy and a complete mess to eat and missing ingredients! Also the staff is too busy conversing to efficiently and correctly make people's orders! While I have no problem with coworkers talking it shouldn't interfere with or take precedence of your job. read more

This place has really gone down hill. It's really dirty all the time, especially near the milkshake machines. The morning crew making sandwiches are straight up rude, lazy and one is really gross and likes to cough a lot. I rarely come here anymore and I wish either another wawa would sprout up or that this one would go under new management. read more
