I called on a Saturday and usually most places are extremely busy and booked for weeks out. The receptionist was able to schedule me today since there was an cancellation. I come in and the place is beautiful, clean and quiet. You can tell they take pride in their presentation and they had customers coming in and out which let me know people were pleased. Jessica was the one who did my facial, I decided to get the dermabrasion to help with some scarring and discoloration I was having. Jessica was extremely profesional and knowledgable about what was best for my skin. She took her time and actually made this session so relaxing that I actually went to sleep, LOL! It was so peaceful and the rooms are set up to make you feel rested and comfortable. The sessions are about an hour and you can instantly see the improvements. Like most places they try to sell you products but here that did not happen. Their honesty and professionalism will make me a recurring costumer. I've never had a bad experience at the business in the past, and I reacted in the immediate shock of the encounter. Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I appreciate the clarification and have reconsidered my initial assessment, which is reflected in my updated review.

The staff was friendly but the salon was a mess. The station I sat at was covered in dust and the protective shield up from Covid was covered in splatters and stains. The light for the gel polish was also filthy. They didn't put a towel down or any sort of wrist rest and I left covered in nail dust. For $70, I would highly recommend finding another spot to go. I try not to leave negative reviews but I felt like I had to warn other people who rely on Yelp reviews when deciding to visit a new salon.

I'm 70 years old and I explained to her that I didn't want my brows to look like a 25-year-old! My brows are very sparse from age and over-plucking since my teens (my mother warned me!) and I wanted to have something soft. Arta explained her procedures to me, and I decided on Powder Brows, for the soft look I was after. I'm very pleased with the outcome! They are in the healing stage, about 9 days after the procedure. She set me up with everything I'd need for aftercare and I will contact Arta in a week or so to have her check it out and do any touch-up, which is included in the price. They didn't offer anything to make it right (although nothing can change the pain she now has). I wanted to like this salon, even saw the owner helping out, which is encouraging, but nothing can overshadow the fact that she was harmed during her services. The owner also smudged my thumb and said she'd fix it but instead of removing the polish she just painted over it. It is very obviously still smudged. While checking out the owner said "I'll add $5 for tip" and then tipped herself. So I paid a total of $40 for this. I'm honestly really upset because this place used to be my favorite.
