My wife and I both went to him with different foot problems. The solution for us both: Orthotics. I wasn't inside of the door for 5 minutes before he recommended them. We had two different sets of friends who went to him with different foot problems than the both of us. The solution: Orthotics. Enough already!!! I know that they can be helpful in some situations, but that was the sum total of his input. I had Plantar Fasciitis and he didn't recommend any stretching, or PT type therapy. He didn't give me any mobility testing. When he told me that I needed them, he said that he'd checked with the insurance and they'll cover it. Two weeks later, he called me up to tell me that my orthotics are in and that they are $250 because the insurance didn't cover them. I asked for the pre-authorization and he couldn't produce it. In my opinion, he's a thief. There are plenty of qualified specialists that will take the time to work with you, but this guy is just going to take your specialist co-pay and try to get you into an incredibly expensive pair of inserts.

I do NOT recommend Weinfeld for surgery.

Dr. Glenn Weinfeld did a few X-rays and within an hour he diagnosed the problem and the next week performed surgery on my foot in Ambulatory Surgery Center of Westchester in Mt. Kisco. The level of the attention and the professionalism of my doctor, anesthesiologist, nurses, and the staff exceeded all my expectations. After the surgery I was able to walk out on my own, and I did not take a single pain killer since I left the Surgery Center.
