They don't pull teeth unnecessarily, nor do they fail to do root canals before a crown. I've had that procedure and had the root canal first. People cannot neglect their dental hygiene for years then blame the dentist. The quality is above reproach by anyone-BUT I do go every six months so they can spot what if anything is going on. This is the most dedicated group of people I've ever worked with for dental care from the receptionist to the dentist. They really do care and ALWAYS go the extra mile to be sure everything it correct.

She had her first appt and was fitted for a crown, they said that they make them in office and that it would only be a week and they would call her. A month went by and no one contacted her. She called them and were not apologetic about her not being contacted. The crown had been ready for weeks, just no one contacted her. She went in and the crown was put on by a dental hygienist who did not use the UV light to set the crown so the next day the crown fell off. My mother went back in (third time now) and the dentist put the crown on however my mother told him it did not feel right. He ignored this and sent her on her way. She came home and immediately was in pain. She tried to get an appointment and the office was closed. The next day the crown fell off again. This is all unacceptable and now we must pay out again to have a reputable dentist put on a crown the right way.

I scheduled my New Patient appointment over a month ago, come to find out that the young lady I booked the appointment with didn't save my phone number, so the appointment wasn't confirmed due to her error, as I'm driving to the appointment which I live 30 minutes away, I called while I was in route to the office, I spoke to someone who had the audacity to tell me that my appointment was moved because I didn't confirm the appointment, this is ridiculous. the office made a mistake of not saving my phone number. I have PTSD and was in a car accident weeks before I visited Dr Bartels office. My family uses Dr Bartel and I also WAS a patient when in town- I have other residencies in another state and in Florida. Marion shows no compassion and obviously isn't popular with a few of her coworkers. She made the comment when showing me how to put in contacts: " So now you can stand up? So now you can use your fingers". I was just in a car accident with over extended fingers, a broken foot, deep rib bruises, had to wear a diaper and could barely walk but I needed glasses which I had lost before I went in for surgery at a nearby Air Force Base. I have been selected by the Headquarters Tricare to review medical care for retirees And I will not recommend this office simply because of this optician.
