Every time, they've been fast and friendly, and I've been pleasantly surprised by how things were resolved. Prices are middle of the pack, not super cheap, but you get what you pay for. Coverage seems pretty standard. Every year or so we review our plans, and end up staying with them. Insurance is never fun, or cheap, but it's a necessity, and when you have an accident it's nice to know that things will get taken care of.

Their response to our complain was "Well did you inspect the unit yourself?" I am not a plumber. I do not know how a water heater is supposed to be installed and vented. And it is my landlord's responsibility to ensure that his property is in a safe and habitable condition. These people are just as crooked as my penny pinching landlord. I have photo proof of the improper install and maintenance of the water heater as well as the improper ventilation system used. These people do not care that they could have killed people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I originally went with Allstate because the pricing made sense at the time. After I received a ticket years ago, my rates went up, which I expected. However, even after the ticket and points fell off my record, my rate never went back down. When I called to ask why, I was told it was due to "accidents in the area." I'm not an insurance expert, so I accepted the explanation, but I continued paying a rate I wasn't happy with for years. Recently, I purchased a new vehicle that required full coverage. I contacted Darlene Parnell for a quote and was told she needed time because she was the only one in the office. After providing all the necessary information, I asked for a rough estimate. She told me it would be "around $400+ a month." That immediately felt unreasonable and stated i would be seeing what other offers are out there while she figures out the quote. I called back the next day and was again told more time was needed, and that either she or her office manager (Works for her) would follow up by the end of the week. In the meantime, I contacted Progressive and was quoted nearly half of what I was currently paying for full coverage vs the liability which was shocking. The following week, the office manager (Her employee) called and offered me a quote in the $90 range for full coverage still higher than Progressive. At that point, I was frustrated and honestly felt insulted, knowing I had been paying significantly more for basic liability coverage for years then this new full coverage quote they are now offering. I asked to cancel my policy, and he processed the cancellation, telling me I'd receive a refund for ending early. About a month later, I noticed a charge from Allstate on my account. After trying to reach Darlene Parnell with no answer (as usual), I called the main Allstate number and found out that the new vehicle had been added to my existing liability policy without my authorization, and I was charged for the few days it was on there. I then tried Darlene Parnell's office again the following day and got this Office Manager who after hearing my complaint wanted to look into it and would call me back, Darlene Parnell called me back and, rather than taking responsibility, insisted that I had agreed to add the vehicle. The conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional essentially telling me to accept the loss and move on since I had already switched providers. Which is unacceptable. when requesting the recorded conversation that she kept referring to where she asked if i had already purchased the vehicle and the new vehicle information for the quote she stated that those recordings are for their use only mean while leaving out that i was requesting a quote and making sense of why time was needed for something that she had already added. Overall, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Between years of overpaying, poor communication, and what felt like unauthorized changes to my policy, I would strongly recommend others to keep looking. There are better agents and better rates out there. Going from paying $115 for liability to being offered $91 for full coverage only highlights how much I was overpaying and that's not something any customer should have to discover the hard way. But i assure you if you do find out this way like me Darlene Parnell will lump you in with "those people that don't understand how insurance works" and im sure once she sees this review she will know exactly who its from and will have some poor explanation. Keep looking people dont be the next one on here years later saying man why did i read these and not listen.
