Standard liquor store. They sold Penelope Havana for well over average because all the stores got limited supply. $169.99 when even Wine Palace sold it for $99.99 and they don't sell at state minimum. Did I buy it, yes I paid the scalper price because it was cheaper than me driving to Ohio for it. It's not a vintage item or that rare. However, I'd advise price comparing for anything purchased from them. It gives the mark up that you saw for eggs now and toilet paper during pandemic. I don't recommend this place. read more

This place is sooo far ahead of the competition! Every time I walk into this store I'm greeted with a smile. They have everything you can think of and more. If they happen to not carry you're preferred beverage they can order it!! I refuse to go anywhere else if The Blue Roof has it. Neighborhood liquor & lottery market has a decent selection of beer, wine and spirits. The employees are unnecessarily uptight and watch customer moves closely. I stopped in to buy a 6-pack of beer and lotto tickets when the female cashier was snippy and rude to me when ringing up my order. Needless to say I will not be back. Customer service is too big a deal for me to waste my time and money with businesses who do not deserve my $$$. read more

Since I don't know anything about beer, wine, or liquor, this is the place I go when I need any of that. Today I needed amber ale for a recipe that Dave is making. The owner helped me out, even looking in the back for some mismatched stock or single bottle so I didn't have to buy a whole six pack. On the counter close to the register was a bag of Germack squash seeds and mini bottles of Bacardi Torched Cherry. They always have cool stuff like that for you to try. The staff is above and beyond friendly here and they have a great selection of everything (including hard seltzers and ciders, my favorite) which makes me stop in whenever I'm nearby and in need of something to drink. There are so many things to love about Wayne Med Mart. If we run out of anything deli or beer and wine related, this is the quickest, most affordable and friendliest game in town. This is a newer, super clean, family run liquor, lotto and deli. Great selection of primo deli meats, fantastic pizza, calzones and chicken. It's the perfect place to stop whenever we're on our way to parties, bbqs or if we need something in a pinch. It's well lit, has a phenomenal selection of beers on the cheap, even for craft brew. It's the first place we go to get our annual mini keg of Oberon, and they're very flexible if you're looking for a beer that they don't have. They'll track it down for you. We've bought kegs for house parties from them and I can't say enough about their fresh made foods. If I'm Jones'n for a slice and don't want to pay for a whole pizza or let Dr. Wife know I'm eating unhealthy, I stop in to scratch the itch. They also have a selection of really great cigars, lots of grocery items and even some pharmaceuticals. When we're running, Wayne Med Mart is the first place we think to stop. read more

The Wayne Med Mart has always been a premier party store in Westland - to me at least... Prices are what you've come to expect, nothing out of wack and they have a very indepth liquor shelf, beer cooler, etc... Great place!!! read more

In October of 2015 I visited the store as normal. I come in just about every day sometimes twice a day. This particular time I came in and slipped on a piece of paper that was on the floor, I fell into a stack of Kaluhua cases as I hit the floor. One of the cases crashed to the floor making a high volume noise of bottles breaking. No one came to see what was going on for the first minute or so. Then finally an older man appeared from the back as I was getting myself off the floor. I told him I slipped on the paper on the floor and pointed to it...he said "let me get someone to clean up". I was taken back by this....I hobbled to the counter where the two young gentlemen were and told one of them I fell on some paper, he said "sorry about that". I told him my knees were hurting "he said sorry about that". Long story short, I took pics of the broken bottles, paper in which I slipped on, asked them to let me file an incident report. They refused and told me I caused them a loss. In addition, I was verbally attacked by both the two young men...telling me I should have saw the paper on the floor, while the other one said to him "there was no paper on the floor", one also asked what did I expect when I come in a store, sometimes there is going to be things on the floor. The reason I would never patronized this store again, is because these people treated me with the utmost respect as long as I was spending my money. But when I slipped on the paper, I became no one to them. They did not ask one time are you okay or appear to be concern about me as a person period! I would not recommend anyone to spend their money where these people have no "human compassion" for their costumers. read more
