I'll preface my review by saying that I only really come here for their OUTSTANDING cigar selection.. They have a very expansive and diverse selection of flavored cigars, traditional cigars, cigarillos, and in pretty much every variety available. Prices are a little high, but that's pretty standard for Wild Bill's. Genuinely one of the most well stocked humidors I've been to in general, not just for WB's. Service was good, for the quick interactions I had. A guy came in and asked if I needed help, so no complaints. This review is split between the store and the cigar bar. Store: Called the store to inquire if they had a torch light for lighting a smoked cocktail. They did have one in stock and the associate over the phone was helpful. However, when in the store one member of staff seemed very shy or uninterested. Cigar Bar: This experience was a sharp contrast. The bartending staff was friendly, outgoing, and made a well crafted whisky cocktail. I was surprised at how vibrant and how many people filled this small bar. It was pleasurable and would return. I wish they had a list of spirits behind the bar. The lounge here looks very nice with plenty of seating. However, if you are looking for a great humidor with the latest premium cigars and tasty cocktail this definitely isn't the place. Before I lit my cigar, I asked if the bartender knew how to craft an Espresso Martini. She affirmed, but brought me a regular Martini. They had nothing else I asked for. I would have still left a tip, but the woman never came back to check on me. Instead she flirted with her regulars. This place is a 30 minute drive for me; and a complete waste of my gas and time. This was my first trip to Wild Bill's of Westland. Unfortunately, it will also be my last trip to this establishment. While I was impressed by the selection, the staff and management are another story. After selecting my two cigars, I politely requested that the gentleman ringing up my purchase also refill my butane torch. The gentleman struggled for several minutes to refill my lighter. He even asked a colleague to come help him. Between the two of them, they were able to accomplish this task. I walked out of the store a happy customer. However, my enthusiasm over this business was short-lived. Within a brief time after departing Wild Bill's of Westland, a disturbing incident took place. While I was holding my lighter in the palm of my hand, butane began to squirt out of the refill port. This substance was very painful to get on my skin. I called Wild Bill's of Westland to speak with a manager to voice my concerns over what had just occurred. This gentleman was completely unsympathetic and proceeded to ask, "What are you trying to get out of us?" This comment made me feel that my incident was of little concern to this manager. He also proceeded to deflect any responsibility for the incident with my lighter. But he also contradicted himself when he blamed the butane leak on the fact that they had just hired a bunch of new employees. So, in the same phone call, the manager is both denying responsibility and admitting incompetence at the same time. If in fact it is true that the employees who filled up my lighter were new, why were they not properly trained how to refill a torch? It would seem to me that a business that boasts (quoting the manager) "the biggest humidor in all of Michigan" would train its staff how to handle a carcinogen such as butane safely. Today, I made some phone calls and attempted to figure out what might have happened in my case. The most likely reason for my butane leak was that this untrained employee neglected to release the air from my empty lighter before filling it, in essence creating excessive internal pressure that led to butane getting on my hand. In closing, despite its marvelous selection, Wild Bill's of Westland is not a great place to do business. They did not care about my safety or well-being. There is no reason given the awful phone call that I had with management to believe that things will change for the better. In fact, during a conversation with an independently owned and operated (non-franchise) cigar shop in neighboring Canton, the proprietor informed me that many of his customers were former customers of Wild Bill's who were unhappy with the service provided. I did not want to write this review. I don't like speaking negatively of any business. But I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. read more

Very friendly staff and well informed. They also have a full bar and cigar lounge where you can enjoy your purchases in a brand new, relaxing spot. Really great atmosphere, and the drinks are big! Hidden gem next to a Big Lots. The bar has outlets at your knees,which I appreciate. Also the chairs are big and comfy, the staff will bring you a lighter and ash tray, and their top notch ventilation system means many people can enjoy their cigar without the cough inducing haze. Literally used to love this wild bills. Went in here for my smokes all the time. My boyfriend buys kratom from here as well. We were frequent customers. Our last visit however was not so good. I asked the gentleman behind the counter to grab me kratom. (It's in a locked glass case) anyway, I told him the usual shpeel: "I'll take the larger bottle of the white" I even pointed to it in the case. The guy who worked there, said "no problem" and took it to the counter with him and waited for me to check out. If you take kratom or have seen it, all the bottles look identical other then the specific type (red, white, green, etc.) which is in smaller print at the bottom of the bottle. Anyways, the guy grabbed the wrong one I guess. Regardless, I have my receipt from the transaction and I have the bottle of the wrong kratom that I would more then happily return. I just called and tried to explain all this to them and they told me they won't return it. In their defense I broke the seal. And I understand that. But no pills were taken and I have no problem surrendering them over just so I can get the right kind... But no. They won't take the $24 loss of the bottle to make a loyal customer happy. Great for vape enthusiasts. Lots of selection and smoking/vaping accessories. I purchased two cigars at this location, both of them were dissapointingly dry. The cigars are great but the humidor is kept at too low of a humidity for michigan weather. I purchased an ashton select at 20 dollars. It did not combust well, the bottom half burned faster than the top half and the cigar did not taste as well as it should have. I also purchased a delicious Gurkha Hansotia with the same problem. Half of the cigar is burning but the other half is not, also the wrapper literally fell apart half-way through the smoke. This is a good store for a vape mod or some good juice but a cigar? I would rather take my business to a place like cigar hut. read more

I used to come here all the time until they stopped selling Mister E liquid. I do come in here occasionally to get coils seems seems like they're always out though. There are a couple of staff that are very nice and helpful however a lot of them are rude and unhelpful just in a hurry to get you out of the store. They tell you when you buy Vape pens they will take care of any issues within 14 days, also printed on their receipt. Purchased 2 JUUl pens 2 months ago died within 3 weeks, took them back and was told it was outside the 14 days told me to call Juul. Purchased 2 more 8 days ago, both died. Took them back and " manager" and "upper manager" refused to replace them under their 14 day BS policy. They don't deserve a 1 star but is required to post a review!! read more

Yes I loved it. spent much more and used a great coupon I got at the MCC when I puchased "Ms Greene". The guys at Ferndale are busy but willing to help. Go In and See Them because callling on the phone takes a bit more patience. Got my E-Liquid and got rang up, I had already swiped my card when he told me that it was $18.01. I continued with my purchase and simply stated that it is slightly more expensive than my normal location. Me and my husband wanted to try this cigar shop because we were in the area. We weren't expecting much other than to get in and buy our cigars. We were gladly mistaken. They have a large selection of vapor, tobacco and hookah products when you walk in so don't be mislead. But they have a large walk-in humidor that have respectable amount cigars selections. They also have a bar attached where drinks are served unfortunately that part wasn't open when we were there since it opens at 3pm. But the atmosphere was awesome the staff was helpful and we ended up buying our cigars and smoking them there which we usually don't do. This battery was recommended to me by the employee as one of the best, yet when it malfunctions they say it's not their problem and I have to pay full price for a new one. Plus, the bar and the smoking den makes this place the place to be to watch a game and enjoy a stogie.
