Definitely a dive bar vibe, but trying to be family friendly. Not sure they are there yet, but it was not uncomfortable at all. The bartender was a little bit of a trip. She comes off grumpy, but she was excellent with her service and actually wanted me to have a good experience. The locals at the bar were friendly and offered a few suggestions. I ended up picking the steak fingers. The portion was massive! I didn't come close to finishing and my leftover fingers went home with a local for her dogs. They were tasty, but a little bland. I looked at the catfish, which was highly recommended, and I think that is my order next time. The prices were fair and the service was great.

Casino provides small paper hand fans for the guest and guest will still be sweating while using the paper fans. It is ridiculous that the casino CANNOT or WILL NOT supply their guest with a suitable room temperature that would allow for a comfortable gaming experience. The carpet is worn in many areas with duct tape used to hold the frayed carpet in place. I heard many older guests complaining about the carpet as a tripping hazard. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED EVENT WITH THE AC- I HAVE BEEN 6 TIMES SINCE FEBRUARY AND ITS EVERYTIME!!!!!

Wine pours were wildly inconsistent. Whites came in at like three ounces and the red was six plus. When asked, we were told "That's how white wine is served." It's not. Wine pours are standard, regardless of the glass. An old fashioned came as a whiskey neat. Server didn't know that was wrong. Everything took twice as long as it should. Drinks were thirty minutes and the food was an hour. This used to be one of the best restaurants in Hobbs. Now, I'm not sure it's even worth going to. New management is not looking great. Training is absolutely terrible, at the least.
