    Their version of friend rice!

Pacific Rim: when you read the name you think "Oooo good seafood" NOOOO This is not what you get! It's more like Asian- Steak style with a sushi choice. Nothing really seafood about this place! My husband ordered the aged steak an it was literally cold when served to him! COLD! Who serves a cold steak! The service was amazing! The place is beautiful inside and clean. Drinks are good, food not so much!

Enjoyed the food (I had a custom stir fry) and the service was excellent. Will try again.

This place has gone so far down it's sad. Yeah, it's COVID-19, but this place should be doing considering it offering outdoor patio dining in addition to take-out orders. The staff is overwhelmed and don't know what the f*** they're doing half the time. They are super slow getting orders out and like a fool I didn't check our order before we left... we had some wonton soups missing. Nearly $130 and they can't get this right? One of my kiddos asked for chicken strips and fries ($5.99). She stopped eating the chicken after about two bites so I tried it. It was dry and tough to eat. The fries were not what she was expecting either. They were the half wedge, half curly type. Do NOT order sushi. You'll regret it! The "volcano lobster roll" ($25) falls apart at the first grasp of chopsticks and it's not fresh seafood. Smh...

Sunday lunch and this was the spot we wanted to try out. We arrived around 1:30 and to our surprise it wasn't at all busy. We stood at the front and waited for the hostess. When she finally did make her way on over, she asked us where we wanted to sit. We opted for a table in the dining room. She left us with the menus and we noticed there was only one other table occupied. Our server made his way to us, and he was very friendly throughout. The menu has a wide selection of items you can order from. They have soups, salads, sushi, pastas, some main entrees, and a variety of Chinese dishes as well, just to name a few. We ended up ordering a chicken fried rice to share, cup of miso soup, one rainbow roll, a lemonade, and some water. As we sat and waited for our food, our server brought on over some fried wonton strips. They were good, but I just wish they would've maybe accompanied them with some sweet sauce. They were just bland. My miso soup came out right after and to my surprise the broth was lukewarm. Miso soup is supposed to be boiling hot and this was not. It was also very salty.. The chicken fried rice was delicious. We both really enjoyed it and glad that we did order it. Our rainbow roll was ok but it was definitely not freshly made. It was dry. The server was attentive and did check up on us several times. We also asked for chili oil and there was definitely no oil in "chili oil," It was crusty and what looked like dried up old chili.. Driving by I always thought that this place looked fancy but it is most definitely not. It is expensive though.

First time here. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box.... besides my chicken being cold, the meal was tasty. Salad & vinaigrette dressing was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, welcoming and comfortable. Cool bar area and the sign outside indicates they have entertainment. My main concern is the restroom, around the bottom area of the toilet... that needed some serious cleaning/sanitizing. Couldn't help but wonder what the kitchen area looks like. Server was nice and friendly but forgot to include a pen for me to sign my receipt. I come to Hobbs probably once or twice a quarter but not enough to give it a second chance.

All three of us got sick after eating here. Everything had a funny taste to it. No one even make a dent in our dishes. Awful.

Great food, haven't had anything that was bad. Nice atmosphere, not loud and has a decent wine list. Will keep going back for sure.

Don't bother with the ribeye. The menu says aged but this steak was so plain I doubt it was. It didn't even seem to have salt on it.

We were shocked at how completely satisfied we were though we really had not had any friends tip us off about the place. I suggested it and my wife said oh okay but arent they all the same... with waving good luck cat decoration etc? I suggested we gamble and taste the food. We loved it and we will be back. Would recommend to anybody.

While it wasn't…read morethe most mind-blowing ramen I've ever had, it was genuinely good--especially for the location--and clearly hits the spot when you're craving something warm and comforting. I really appreciated the variety of vegetarian options, which felt thoughtfully done rather than like an afterthought. My bowl was flavorful and well-balanced, though worth noting: even after asking for heat, it wasn't spicy at all, so spice lovers may want to temper expectations. That said, the experience had a bit of a rough start. We arrived right at the posted opening time (11am) and ended up waiting outside in the freezing cold, unsure if they were actually open. We had to call to confirm, and only then did someone come to unlock the door. Once inside, I asked for hot tea--pretty standard at most Japanese spots--only to be told they were completely out, which was surprising. All things considered, Yanagi Ramen delivers a dependable bowl with good vegetarian choices and a clean, modern space. A few opening-hour kinks and missing basics kept it from being great, but the food itself was enjoyable, and I'd happily come back--just not for spice, and hopefully next time with hot tea ready to go.
