This would be easily 4.5 if it wasn't for the owner. Don't even think about pull tabs, owner forces bar tenders to pull games faster than any bar ever seen. It's one of the biggest complaints I hear and have. The bartenders/cooks, men/women are great, drinks and food are fast. Yet I've had multiple BLT's with a whole half missing bacon. When you ask for extra the charge $3-$4 then the sandwich comes normal. Owners fault again. Owner sucks! Bad! read more

I received a recommendation to go check out Wayne's Inn decided to stop in for dinner. Cool Spot I liked it pool tables . They have music and all the sports on. Darts also nice patio outback, as well as a pretty big indoor area of the restaurant and bar. My server was very nice and friendly knowledgeable on the menu I was promptly served once I ordered. I just had the steak meal with the garden salad and fries, and garlic bread. I was pleasantly surprised very nice for the price that they were asking. Definitely go check this place out. Was invited to Wayne's a few weeks back at night and it was a blast! Night time bartenders are not charging nearly as much as the day time crew! Ventured back with some friends the other day for a day time hang out and was charged $9 per Smirnoff and $8.75 per Whiskey. Was totally shocked! I usually love this place and have a great time every time. This would be a 5, but I'm giving this place a 3 because of the karaoke host, Donnie Dark, on Friday nights. He is very discriminatory in his karaoke singer selections, only allowing those he knows too sing first, or even at all, even though there are other people in line first; there is dead space between every song; and he doesn't allow people to sing without him coming in to "harmonize" with them. The bar staff are amazing and are super fast and friendly for service! But get a new karaoke host, perhaps younger and more in tune with his audience. read more

Wayne's Inn is a podunk little bar on the outskirts of the Puyallup area. I had never been here before, but my mom's boyfriend had and we planned a surprise birthday get together here for her one evening. The bar is pretty open. Your bar area off to the left right when you walk in, and seating to the right and beyond. We were there on a karaoke night so the dart area and dance floor area (I think that's what it was) was set up for that. We had a great time with a bigger group there and the bartenders took good care of us, so I can't really ask for anything more. Drink prices were fair and the food prices were also decent. I had some mozzarella sticks to snack on and they were yummy. I also tried one of the wings my friend got and I definitely recommend those. If you're into karaoke, you should make a point to stop on in one night. The karaoke host (I forget his name) is a super cool guy and was getting everybody involved which was awesome. I actually ended up singing with him - he was wanting me to get up there and sing but I don't sing alone unless I've had a few too many LOL so he definitely helped me feel comfortable in front of the crowd. Yes. I totally appreciate Wayne's being open. I don't know the history but have been told they have good food. Well... the items we ordered were anything but. We mainly went to get out of the house and their website advertised a prime rib dinner for $9.95! Alas they weren't serving prime rib until all covid restrictions were lifted . The potstickers were over cooked to a burnt crisp and were a dollar each apparently. We didn't care as we were there to play darts. Which was fun and the music was loud and singalongable. But damn.... then we ordered the fried mac and cheese bites. HORRIBLE! I mean molten lava hot, and cooked to a dark brown little lump. I might go back to play darts... but definitely not for the appetizers. read more

Sara, I couldn't agree with you more!!!!! He is so unprofessional, mean hearted and an awful singer " harmonizer"! Also nailed it with the personality, he doesn't have one. I have no clue why he's there! I would can his ass so fast. I work at Seeders now and what a difference when it comes to a fantastic DJ compared to that 80 year old "Donnie Dark". Attempt 1- Went here the other day, called in the order. Got a Poboy with a salad and a Ruben with onion rings. Didn't think anything of it past orders had been good. Pickup the order get back to work and find that my salad came with no dressing even though I asked for ranch and that the lettuce was going bad. The sandwich on the poboy was very small like 6inches. The Ruben was bland and tasteless, the onion rings were good but didn't come with ketchup or any dipping sauce. I was really disappointed and would not recommend this place Attempt 2- Decided to try and eat there today, got the chefs salad and spicy popcorn chicken. So first the chicken it was okay tasting, it was little pieces deep fried in old oil tossed in a bit of chili sauce, I poured A1 on them to make them taste better definitely not worth the 7.50$, the salad was huge, it tasted fine, though the dressing you get is watered down ranch, so you don't get the full flavor of it. The best part was the service the women who served me was amazing she was so friendly and nice. Treated me like I was family, absolutely wonderful. Sometimes the patrons can get a lil extra and Donny is alright I like when he harmonizes with people but he never does with me because he lets me do my thang. I still haven't asked him to not harmonize but I think he knows I'm one of the good singers. so far each time I've gone aside from (the drunk patrons) which is still ok they just friendly drunk I've had a BLAST. I wish I can give this place ZERO star. I came here with the intentions of watching the Woodley fight tonight with a group of 6 (4 dude, 2 females). Yes we are people of color - Samoan to be specific. We walked into this bar with the intent to watch the fight, however, that was quickly shutdown when the bartender and manager looked intimidated by us and said we were not allowed here because one of our friend had a California ID. His excuse was he can't tell if it was fake or not . They only accept Washington State ID's. The manager said to us, "just get out. I don't want any trouble." Smfh. If we had a more diverse group with 2-3 white people in it, maybe just MAYBE we would've been treated a little different or the manager would've felt comfortable enough to serve us. We went down the street to Loose Wheels about 6 minutes away and there was a much better vibe there. Non-discriminatory. Very chill place. My friend with the Cali ID was accepted in this establishment. It's so funny because we got kicked out obviously not because of an out of state ID but because someone felt intimidated, uncomfortable, or threatened by my group because of how we looked and here at Loose Wheels my group is doing karaoke to Midland - Drinkin' Problems and Temptation - My Girl. What to say about the bar with the highest number of DUI stops? They serve dang good beverages! Okay, to be honest, I rarely drink here, I rarely drink at all. But I love the feel down at Wayne's Inn. It's 25 cents for a game of pool and these are nice tables. There are three of them too. The weekends are pretty packed with young people. I usually avoid those nights, just way too many people and the pool players are good, haha. The food is good and cheap too. The fries are top notch if you ask me. I usually get an order every time. They have drink and food specials for each day of the week, as well as pool tourneys, a poker night and live music from time to time. I don't hit Waynes as much as I used to, but it's a great place to play pool and relax with your friends! EDIT: Games of pool are now .50 cents. Too many fights. To ghetto. The feeling of always looking over your shoulder. Their servers are very good and nice. Bouncer are cool. Dj was pretty cool. But everyones trying to fight people. Creepy Asian guy lurking around all the younger girls saying "hes the owners friend." Didn't get the clue that he was flirting and hitting on my wife, and checking her out in front I mean right in front of me while I was dancing and holding her hand. Ass. I know shes hot, but come on man do it with class. Never really liked the place but it has no cover and drinks are at a good price. Enjoyed the dirty 30 and 40th bdays, but stay away. Cops lurk there just waiting snag up someone. Number 1 DUI spot, so leave in a taxi or DD for sure. There was two fights on the dance floor, almost a third in the seating area. But the one guy was a BIG Creep. He really ruined the whole thing, well that and the other people, and the fights. I will try to never go again, and I hope you steer away too.
