This has been the worst experience of my life I was texting with my husband instead of listening to their 15 minute long list of rules. I felt like I'm not in school. i'm just trying to purchase a few things. I know how to conduct myself. there was a few things I was on the fence about, and I had them in my hand, but I was pressured into putting them on the hold table with all my other things that I wanted. so when I was ready to purchase all my goodies, I had noticed a vase I wanted was TJ max vase and did not want it. I was speaking to one gentleman about not wanting the vase when he told me I had no choice but to purchase it it was only nine dollars but that wasn't the point I said I'm purchasing a lot of other items he said well that's too bad you put iI on the hold table You have to buy it that's the rule. I explained to him that I was ready to spend $500 to $600. dollars I just didn't want the nine dollar vase? I'm not gonna allow you to purchase anything if you don't purchase that vase too. The next thing I know the mother or grandmother gets up yeah that's right if you put it on the hold table you have to buy it. Wow this was my first time at their estate sale and trust me I would never be back and give them a dime of my money, but to the people that are hiring this company just know this is how they treat others. My family recently hired "We Can't Stop Collecting" for an estate sale. We were so happy with our choice. Gina, Tyler, and Clayton are professional and knowledgeable. They kept us in the loop at all times and communicated with us very well. We always knew what to expect. Honestly, they were able to sell so much more than we anticipated, and we hired them for the extra clean out, and it was worth it! I read in some reviews about concerns about allowing children on site. My understanding is that they make this decision based on the circumstances at each site, which seems fair to me. I went to their estate sale today. I go literally hundreds of them a year, usually on my bicycle. The sale was decently run and the staff were efficient and polite. On the whole it was as good as 90% of sales I go to. The ones I like are where there is tons of little tools, music stuff, doodads, super cheap. This one didn't have much of that, but I don't expect every sale to. Prices on things were reasonable, I bought my $2.12 worth of stuff. The owner thought I had written a bad review of her business with personal invective, but I hadn't. She still thinks it was me I guess, she was pretty insistent, looked it up on the phone, asked me my name FIRST the bad review was from a different person, she said well some people use fake names, I guess she thinks I'm ''also'' Arturo V. for some reason. I paid and left. My review is "It's an OK business, no reason to avoid". I did read the bad reviews, I didn't see any of what they were complaining about. If I see them having another sale, I will try to go - if I'm not ''banned''. oh if anyone ever reads this contact me for a free $1 bill seriously who reads yelp any more especially for yard and estate sales.. read more

I'm not a big reviewer but I do rely on recommendations for services. However, a positive review is the best way I know to publicly thank this company, this wonderful group of people, for the job they did on my mother's estate sale in Lawrenceville. After what has been an incredibly emotional and trying year, we decided an estate sale was the best way to get my mom on the road to a downsized home and remove some of the weight from her shoulders. The particulars: -She literally had 3 households of furniture and "stuff" under one roof that had to be liquidated -We decided to act quickly and didn't want to waste time, or give her time to talk herself out of or overthink it. -She did NOT have many of the items that most people are looking for when they frequent estate sales. (No estate/fine jewelry, collectibles, or antique pieces). The items in her sale consisted mainly of clothing, tools, everyday furniture, knick knacks, etc. Basically nothing of real "value". The RESULT: The most amazing and compassionate group of people scheduled an appointment within 2-3 days of initial contact to discuss their format. They scheduled the estate sale for the first week in December, roughly 2 weeks from our first meeting! They came in, set-up, CLEANED UP, and staged the items in an organized and attractive fashion. They cleaned, prepped, handled her items carefully all while treating my mom with respect and compassion. Throughout the 8-9 day set-up process, they kept in touch, asked questions and were very patient with my mom. During the sale, they provided updates on traffic, daily sales, and status reports. Following the sale, they cleaned up and left the house MUCH cleaner than they found it. MUCH CLEANER. They also donated the remaining items that did not sell (which is optional). Estate Sales aren't always easy but this company has truly found their calling. I am just incredibly thankful and extremely impressed with the service they provided. And remember when I said my mom didn't have much that was of any real "value"? They made her FAR ABOVE what she anticipated. They acted in her best interest from start to finish... I arrived early in efforts to buy a few certain items due to the fact that when I called 2 days prior to the sale I was told that there would be no pre sales. Both items were sold prior to the sale. I did find 2 huge antique, hand carved mirrors and as instructed removed the price tags to purchase them. To add insult to the prior "injury", I found a vintage fan (which I collect) unplugged it, picked it up, and was heading to check out to spend roughly $600 of the $1000 I came prepared to spend. I was met a few steps out of the room and told that someone else had asked for the price (again, clearly marked) and that it was theirs to buy. In the incredibly long rules and instructions we were informed that unless a item was on a hold table or in your hands it was still for sale. At that point I set down the tickets for the mirrors, the few small items I'd picked up, and I left. Don't go to one of their sales unless you are looking to be disappointed, cheated, or over charged....They are very unprofessional and over priced. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SALES! read more

Gina and Clayton and staff were awsome handling moms estate sale!!! They went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for! They worked so hard and went through everything! They put aside personal or quite valuable things they came across and handled them gently. They didn't sell anything without clearing it with us. They really know pricing and if they didn't they have people they rely on to value precious items. We opted for clean out when done so the house would be empty and they even did a great job with that! There was NOTHING for us to do! The price they charge for their service is not enough!! They are professional, yet it's a personal touch on a very difficult task! Felt like we were working g with friends! I definitely recommend this company to anyone having an estate sale!!! Also it was a secure sale, they had enough staff that nothing was stolen and valuables are watched very carefully! In addition they have a great buyer following! I've never seen so many people come to a sale! They were lined up hours before the start!!! We could not have had a better experience! I'm so grateful to them for everything they did. I've never had a negative experience with these people. They are very reasonable with their pricing unlike 80% of the other Estate Sales in the area that Google Image every item and try to resale them at over the moon auction values to the point that nobody buys them so that they have left over items after the sale to sell for their personal shops! I think they are beyond fair from my experience in a way that is both beneficial for them, the estate which is what this business is meant for, as well as anybody buying from them. I've read the negative reviews about them being insensitive and anti-child, but I do not think that's the case at all. Not sure if that's still their policy, but I personally would never bring a kid under twelve-ish with me to these random estate sales anyways. You never know what's going on with these houses at any of these estate sales from ANY OF THESE COMPANIES; rust, mold, glass, asbestos! It just makes sense for the kids sake! Their entire staff has never been anything but hospitable to me or the people I've seen them interact with. They always go out of their way to be helpful and mindful and they have a genuine passion for antiques and vintage things. Didn't realize they had a no children policy. My children were complimented on their behavior multiple times while walking through. Was in the home 30 minutes walked past many employees and someone came up and said we had to leave. Ignorance at its finest. I spoke with another shopper on my way out and she was shocked. My children have been attending sales since before they could walk and always behave. They can claim it's for children's "safety" but it's just flat out ignorance and not wanting kids around. I understand if they were misbehaving and touching things, but they weren't. Never ever will shop again with a company that doesn't like kids. read more

Rude, disrespectful, and claim they don't allow children because they can't guarantee their safety - which is covered under the homeowners insurance policy - they asked me to carry my 60 lb 7 year old - I even explained to them that my son goes to estate sales with us on a regular basis and even offered to pay for any items he might break - but they still would not let us in - and were extremely rude about it - do not go -no treadure is worth that hatred!! read more

My wife and I usually run a "circuit" of estate sales on the weekends and the quality of the sales runs the gambit. However, we learned that when you find good companies, you stick with them and We Can't Stop Collecting is one of them. Gina, Clayton and their crew take the time to carefully set-up the homes, price the items fairly, and keep the sites clean and orderly throughout the sale days. Trust me...some of the companies out there have numerous people working and the homes left in shambles as customers try to shop, thus making a messy and potentially dangerous situation for others. The terms and policies are clearly posted on the estatesales.net app as well as on-site. The pricing is very equitable for the customer and company alike. It's a business, not a charity, so don't go in expecting freebies or a few bucks for a bundle of items. We found out a few years ago that the homeowner/client really dictates the pricing...especially on big items. However, they aren't offended if asked and often work with you depending on the item. The staff are friendly and try to greet every person that walks through the door with a smile, a coffee, and a treat while they shop. They are knowledgeable and come from diverse backgrounds. However, if one doesn't know certain information about an item, they will find out immediately. So if you're out "running the circuit" as my wife would say, make sure this sale is on your list. read more

I have been to alot of estate sales. Over the years, I have seen the poorly managed companies and the great companies alike. I can truly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that We Can't Stop Collecting is one of the most well run companies out there. Customer service truly is their priority. The staff is always pleasant and the customers are always great. They truly make an effort to keep repeat customers coming in, and to turn new customers into repeat customers. I always see the same customers at her sales over and over again. They are so happy and excited to be there. Most of the time there is a line of customers waiting to get in. I had an awful experience with this very questionable company at an estate sale that they ran today out in the country near Social Circle. I had picked out a wide variety of small items when a woman, who behaved like she might be the owner of this company, accosted me as I went through them to decide what I was going to get or put back. She spoke rapidly and rudely seeming to imply that I should hurry up, though I had been sitting there for a few seconds and was in no one's way. She then returned in less than a minute to say basically the same thing and I ignored her again, rather than get into it with her. The prices of LPs were hidden on the back, while 45s had them stuck on a piece of tape in the middle, books had the prices inside and some things had no price, not that unusual, but confusing in this case because there were also signs with posted prices that referred to everything else. When I was in line, this same woman went through my stuff counting up the total without uttering anything aloud. I have been to over 100 estate sales and sometimes elderly folks (this lady didn't qualify) will not use a calculator, but will figure out the numbers on paper or aloud, though that often leads to mistakes. This woman calculated the price in her head in a rushed manner without letting me know the price of anything until I asked about a few things and discovered there were some prices I hadn't noticed. When I asked for a receipt and said that a written one was fine, she told me that I would have to wait in line if I wanted one, which was ridiculous. At this point, I should have had it out with her, but was confused as to what this woman had against me or why she was acting this way. I still don't have a clue what that might be and will just have to assume that this lady was outright rotten for whatever reason. I am sure other folks at this sale must have been completely thrown by the prices being hidden everywhichwhere and really got ripped off, much worse than me. Do not bother stopping by their estate sales if you see the sign. The brunnette is an awful saleswoman that makes buyers feel stupid for not accepting her prices. I have been to many of this companies sales. They are run very professionally and have great customer service.The workers are always very helpful and polite. There is always someone close by if you have any questions. Most of the time, every item is marked with a price which is fantastic cause many Estate Sale companies do not price anything or only price large items. If you are an Estate Sale goer, you know we are talking about many hundreds or sometimes thousands of items .And the price tag is always in an area of the item, where it will not harm the item in anyway.
