I was able to buy a Groupon for this session and so the price was very reasonable. I know nothing about these kinds of procedures so did some research on the Lapex 2000 LipoLaser. In Lipo Laser the machine uses light wavelengths to target fat cells; the paddles are placed on the skin for 10 minutes or so and the procedure is totally non-invasive. I met with Dr. Grim who was friendly, knowledgeably answered all of my questions and gave me some additional tidbits to think about. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about whether I would see any results. Like many women near 50 I have a few pounds that just refuse to go away. Dr. Grim has administered thousands of sessions with over 2,000 customers, so he has been around the block and has some great lessons learned to share with his patients. Measuring my abdomen before and after proved that I actually lost 2 full inches just from this one session. I am more motivated to continue my more healthy eating habits and regular exercise along with these Lipo Laser appointments. I made a consultation appointment which they only take on two days of the week after the doctor was away for two weeks on vacation. After driving an hour and a half which they knew about I called 15 minutes prior to let them know I would be literally four minutes late. I was put on hold and then told it was ok. I have a picture of my gps because I could not believe when they called me when I was five minutes away to say they had to reschedule me. I had missed the call because I was in the middle of nowhere and Reading PA so when I tried to call back they had shut off all of the lines and when I showed up three minutes later the doors were locked. It was so unprofessional I will never go back there.

The doctor and his staff all made me feel more than comfortable with the care Dr. Jeff would be providing my son. They took the time to truly explain the importance of care for the spine. His passion and overall intelligence on the subject matters relating to spine care were clearly evident. With over 30 years of practice experience, my confidence in the treatment was solidified. I can't say for sure if the care provided to my son was the sole reason we are in a much better place with his overall health, but I can confidently say it contributed to where we are now. Soon after, I began to seek care for myself. I had given birth twice in a matter of two years. And now a year later, I am carrying both children at times - a near 55lbs of "extra" body weight on my small structure. It is only a matter of time before my body begins to give way, so I went about this self care of chiropractic care as more of a preventative measure then a reactive one. I am now nearly a month into my care and can honestly say I feel the difference and look forward to my SUPER quick visits- literally minutes in and out. I politely said that I would come on a later day, if the doctor wants to take extra time with his other patient. However, the receptionist wanted to charge me for full treatment. Right away, he was able to determine what happened with my spine and back. He started treatment for a month. After a month, I feel a relief I've never felt since the injury. The bad ones often barely touch you, or they mechanistically do the same thing every time, or they do a lot of hard sell marketing. And my criteria for a good one is that they can actually *feel* (and are willing to feel for) what's going on--because a lot of times things move around while adapting. And Amy is one of the good ones. She has a really good sense for how bodies are put together, and how to get you back into balance.
