5 Stars - Best way to get around Key West! We rented 4 bikes from WeCycle for our family trip to Key West, and honestly, this is the best way to get around the island. First off -- you do NOT need a golf cart or a car in Key West. Seriously... where are you going to park it? The bikes made everything easy, fun, and stress-free. We rented kids' bikes 13- and 10-year-old and I rode a standard beach cruiser, which was great... but my wife insisted on the Cannondale comfort cruiser. I tried hers for about 30 seconds and immediately realized I made a huge mistake! That thing was smooth, comfortable, and awesome. I was definitely jealous. They made everything so easy. They dropped the bikes off and picked them up, so there was zero hassle. Awesome bikes, awesome service, and exactly what you need. We'll definitely be renting from WeCycle every time we come back! read more

Had a great experience with WeCycle last month. I rented a road bike and did a lower keys ride. The bike they gave me was great. The added bonus of have it dropped off and picked up made it a very simple and easy process for me. Also, they are the ONLY rental shop that offers road bikes. We visited Key West for the weekend and rented two e-bikes for 48 hours. It was a highlight of our trip. We got to explore the city without worrying about parking and didn't spend a fortune on Ubers. The bikes were great; we topped them out a little over 20mpg and the battery latest for two full days. I believe they had about 20% battery left when we returned them. Since our Airbnb was close, we elected to pick up/drop off, however they do offer free delivery. read more

Fantastic! After spending the first evening in Old Town battling traffic and parking, we knew we had to get some bikes to navigate the area the next day. Booked two E-bikes that night for free delivery to our hotel in New Town the next morning. Sure enough, received a text confirmation that our bikes had been dropped off in front of our hotel at 8am. Bikes were in great condition and came with a chain lock and carry pouch for each. Pedaled around Old Town in Eco and Tour mode all day and still had 60% battery left. Would highly recommend! read more

Love their location on Southard in Key West, right down the street from us. We have rented from them every time we have guests visiting. They are friendly (some others on the Island can have ATTITUDE) and accommodating. Their bikes are great for peddling around the Island. read more

We rented beach cruisers for our week in Key West. They were delivered to our location on time and were ready for us to ride. We noticed one of the lights was dim so we stopped in to the store while we were nearby and they popped in a new battery. Problem solved and with a smile. Communication was great. We truly enjoyed our experience with "We Cycle". The customer service and communication were top notch. Not only did they deliver & pick up the E-Bikes, when they were running low on battery power (We used them for a week) they came back to our house to swap out with a fresh battery! Also on the last day when they were to be picked up in the morning, we asked if we could use them in the AM to bike to breakfast, and they simply said "Enjoy your morning, we'll pick them up at Noon!" Highly recommend We Cycle when in Key West and will certainly rent from them again the next time we are down. read more

They are ALWAYS fast and friendly! Bikes are delivered right to your hotel and not just on tome but usually early. Great service. Bikes are decent- especially for the price. We get the comfort cruisers- a few $ more than beach cruiser but more comfortable and has gears. Love Wee Cycle! read more

One word: convenient. You order online, bikes are delivered with a texted picture of their exact location. The day before rental expires they send another text asking if you want to extend, and if not - they remind you of process for pickup. You take a picture of where you left the bike(s) & they pick em up. Best decision of the whole trip to Key West! Thank you! read more

These guys are outstanding! We've been using them for the last year each time we visit Key West. They deliver our bikes to our hotel or rental on time and pick up as well. We had a flat tire and they came out right away to fix. Also, we rented the e-bikes and when our batteries were running low (we stayed a week and rode many miles each day) they brought freshly charged batteries to us. These guys are my go to for transportation when in Key West. Great job as always! read more

Renting with WeCycle was smooth and easy. Reserved 4 bikes online ahead of time, pick-up was in-and-out, we needed a few adjustments and they were made right away, and return was simple. The bikes are comfortable, solid and ride smoothly. Location was terrific for us, 1/2 block from Truman Annex. WE would definitely recommend them. read more

I'm a crazy planner but I knew our trip was coming up. The first time we booked them, our reservation was much closer to our visit. They proactively texted me about the timing to drop off the bikes and confirm our reservation. This latest visit, I realized that I didn't get that text so I ended up proactively contacting them the night prior to ensure a smooth drop off. I think they may have forgotten about my reservation. Regardless, they managed to get everything in order and drop off the bikes (even if it was probably a little last minute). They bring helmets, bike locks and can add on child seats for the little ones. I ended up extending my reservation with a simple text and it was no issue and they autocharged my credit card on file. What's so great about Key West is that it's compact. I was able to just use the bike during my entire stay and didn't have to move the car once from the hotel parking lot. I'd definitely use this bike rental service again.

First, their management over-promises…read moreon repair time needed, while those fixing the bikes take their time and don't seem to know or care what the customer has been told. I was told by Morgan that if I brought my bike in first thing on my appointment day, that my bike tune-up would be complete in 2 to 2 and a half hours. They would text me first with an assessment of what needed to be done and the estimated cost. About an hour and a half went by, and there was no text to me from the shop with an assessment. I tried to just get an estimate on completion, not argue my way to the front of the line. I had to call again after 2 hours to find out that they had not made an assessment yet. Next, they were angry that I asked for an update on when the bike might be ready. If they had not assessed the bike in 2 hours, it did not seem unreasonable that the work would not be complete in 30 minutes (after it took them so long to assess whatever needed to be done--they never gave me specifics on the tune-up). I know a business is in trouble when they eliminate basic courtesy and, most importantly, they forget that they are not the customer. I tried to provide constructive feedback to staff, but it was met with argument and interruption. This business grossly lacks listening skills as well as customer service.

The two of us extended our rentals one extra day so we could visit The Hemingway House (without kids) and meet the rest of the family at The Butterfly Conservatory. Great work!!!…read more I contacted this bike shop, And spoke to the owner Tom SOMMER, To see if they would be willing to replace a hydraulic brake handle with one I had purchased and had been recommended by the manufacturer as a replacement for a defective one. Mr. Summers agreed to look at the problem and then decide if he would undertake this job. The new hydraulic brake the manufacture suggested did not fit. The big Pine bicycle Center contacted a local vendor and found brakes that would fit this bike. Oh, by the way, this is an E bike. Anyway, long story short, they replaced both front and rear brakes. The new brakes you can find parts for. The old brakes I could not find parts anywhere not even a screw nor a O-ring seal. And that's all I needed to fix the old ones.

Payment was simple as well and we processed it through Venmo in about 30 seconds. There are many options to choose from but I chose one of the yellow cruisers without the front basket. My friend moved to Key West from Michigan only a couple months ago. She gets everywhere by bike. Christmas Eve her bike was stolen! I remember seeing a post by her that she had rented a bike from We Cycle when she first arrived, so I called them at 4:45 pm on Christmas Eve and spoke to Oliver. He was able to pull up my friends address and let me rent her a bike for a week over the phone. They emailed me my receipt right away and best of all, delivered her bike Christmas morning! We Cycle just gets it. Oliver was a complete sweetheart over the phone and all was well for my friend. To make things even better, my friends bike was found five days later and recovered right from the thief. The rental bike was picked up early, and We Cycle even refunded me the difference in what I paid to time used. If you need to rent a bike or buy one, choose these guys. Looked on line to rent a road bike before I arrived at Key West, narrowed choice down to 2 shops. Went to We Cycles first. Bikes were exactly as described on the WEB page Chris was knowledgeable, did a quick fit, changed the pedals to accommodate my shoes, and gave me a great price for a 10 day rental. Could not have asked for more, they rent quality Bianchi Impulso 105 Compact bikes - not some generic band. We were in Key West trying to find something other than the ubiquitous cruiser bike to rent so we could ride the bike path from Marathon. We finally found We Cycle which I think I can safely say is the only place where quality road bikes (plus all the other types) can be found in the area. We were fitted expertly on 27 speed Bianci's that were well tuned and in virtually new condition. The owner (Chris) was hugely cooperative in getting us to Marathon so we could ride back to Key West.. All in all an excellent A+ experience which (ourselves being the owners of a large bike touring company) is something we really appreciate. read more

I had a great experience with We Cycle. I reserved a bicycle online which was quick and easy. I set the time for the drop off and received a text message once the bike was delivered with instruction and the location of the bike on the property where I was staying. The day before the bike was scheduled for pickup, I received another text asking if I needed more time or if the bike was ready and to send a pic with the location. Chris from We Cycle was willing to work on price. They list $10 as a single-day rental online (which is already cheaper than everyone else). Just call the shop if you have a multi-day, multi-bike rental, and they will work with you. The bikes themselves were fine, fixed-gear beach cruisers. We received bikes that had some working, some dim, and some missing head and tail lights (required by FL law). Chris came out himself and replaced the lights, as well as dropping off a spare set in case those were stolen (lights are stolen all the time in EYW). read more

Was looking for inexpensive long-term human transportation in KW. We Cycle is filled with friendly, efficient and interesting people who, among other things, bring back gently-used bikes to life for people like me. The took a basic cruiser with some rust, added new components, chain, handlebar, and made it run nearly like new. I had them add a basket and cupholder and I'm ready for KW cruising. I rented a Bianchi road bike for the week. The bike was delivered on time and was the perfect road bike for Key West. My only slight complaint is that it could/should have been delivered with some options for mounting a GPS or rear light radar. Not having my usual GPS and navigating by cell phone was not ideal. Its also my fault for not clearing this up ahead of time or making sure I had what I needed before leaving on vacation. read more

We have dealt with MAJOR attitude with another bike rental group on the island so it was great to be met with great service. Great service. Rented a road bike on line to use while on vacation in Key West. I was running late to accept the delivery at hotel and they were nice enough to leave it at hotel for me. And even came back a second time to remove the pedals they had put on the bike (I brought my own). The road bike was a nice Cannondale in good condition. I'd rent from them again for sure. read more

This place is awesome! Very easy to work with and the location is right on the way to Key West. If you are concerned about the stretch from the shop to Key West along US-1--there are bike trails along US-1 to take you to Key West. We had a lot of fun riding on the e-Bike, which allowed us to turn on and off assistance, so we got around and also got some exercises in. read more

Excellent experience with We Cycle. Ordered online after 8pm and the bikes were delivered the next morning before I could call to verify my order had been received. They sent a text with a picture of where they left the bikes for me and asked me to send a return text with a picture of where I left them when we were finished. Bikes were delivered within 45 minutes of ordering, straight to our door. The bikes looked very new and had very sturdy baskets on front. When leaving, we left the lock keys at the front desk so they could be picked up after our departure. Smooth process, and the best way to get around the island. WeCycle is an amazing company. Four bicycles were delivered to the condo complex where we were staying within 45 minutes of my booking. We Cycle delivered our bikes to us at the hotel, then picked them up when we were done! Brittany was very helpful in the office and Oliver assisted us when he dropped off the bikes. This team is truly awesome. Dropped off the bike at the hotel, had it waiting and ready to go. When the front desk couldn't find the key - they drove a new one out to me in less than 5 minutes. We Cycle is so convenient. We reserved our bikes online, they were at the bike rack at our condo 2 hours later. The bikes were in great condition, easy to ride. The best way to see Key West. We rode all over the island, got to see everything. True 24 rental, got to go for a morning ride before "pick- up" time. Best part of our trip. read more

The bikes were delivered early, which was AWESOME, and we were provided everything we needed. I had requested that the seat heights be adjusted for how tall we were and We Cycle accommodated us beautifully. They picked up the bikes at the scheduled time at the end of our rental period. We rented road bikes to get around the Key West area and also get some longer miles riding north. WeCycle had excellent service from their staff and the bikes were well set up with no mechanical or other issues. Bikes were ready and equipped with full repair kit had it been necessary. Would definitely use WeCycle again. read more
