First off -- you do NOT need a golf cart or a car in Key West. Seriously... where are you going to park it? The bikes made everything easy, fun, and stress-free. We rented kids' bikes 13- and 10-year-old and I rode a standard beach cruiser, which was great... but my wife insisted on the Cannondale comfort cruiser. I tried hers for about 30 seconds and immediately realized I made a huge mistake! That thing was smooth, comfortable, and awesome. I was definitely jealous. They made everything so easy. They dropped the bikes off and picked them up, so there was zero hassle. Awesome bikes, awesome service, and exactly what you need. We'll definitely be renting from WeCycle every time we come back!

I'm a crazy planner but I knew our trip was coming up. The first time we booked them, our reservation was much closer to our visit. They proactively texted me about the timing to drop off the bikes and confirm our reservation. This latest visit, I realized that I didn't get that text so I ended up proactively contacting them the night prior to ensure a smooth drop off. I think they may have forgotten about my reservation. Regardless, they managed to get everything in order and drop off the bikes (even if it was probably a little last minute). They bring helmets, bike locks and can add on child seats for the little ones. I ended up extending my reservation with a simple text and it was no issue and they autocharged my credit card on file. What's so great about Key West is that it's compact. I was able to just use the bike during my entire stay and didn't have to move the car once from the hotel parking lot. I'd definitely use this bike rental service again.

Had a tune up, didn't ride the bike for a year, got on it and the SRAM hub shifter doesn't shift - next time I will take on test ride before I leave. The person at front desk was not familiar with bikes and a bike mechanic was not present. She tried to sell me a $50 tune up on a kids $70 bike. I had a loose chain and she said they might not have a smaller chain in stock...obviously not familiar with concept of removing links. So be wary of upcharges and talk to someone that knows bikes. She said the mechanic would call back with an estimate, but never did.. The ended up being fixed at a reasonable price and only what was needed. Henry, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had an injured shoulder and he helped me load my bike in my vehicle. I am purchasing an electric bike and will probably continue to use this shop because it specializes in e-bikes and it is close. I would recommend this shop for people who live nearby and know enough to check the work and an idea of what is wrong.

When I picked up the bike, the assembler offered the kickstand for **$15**, but since I already had several at home, I declined at the time. Later, none of mine fit the CX 2, so I went back to the store on Sunset Boulevard to buy one -- only to be told it now costs 25. When I politely explained that the person who assembled my bike had offered it for $15, the cashier flatly dismissed it, saying that price was "impossible" because "Specialized's is $15." That didn't make sense -- how would a mechanic who handled my bike know or quote the wrong price unless that's what the store policy had been at the time? To make matters worse, the cashier's attitude was curt and dismissive, showing zero customer service. For a store representing major brands like Cannondale, it's shocking to see such a lack of professionalism. Bottom line: Ask very clearly what is and isn't included when you buy your bike here, and be prepared for inconsistent information and poor service. Transparency and respect for customers should be basic -- but unfortunately, I didn't find either at Mack Cycle.
