Newport's Eureka Cemetery is extremely grateful to a couple of our local businesses…read more In the past month Faith and Stone LLC donated days of labor, supplies, experience, and care to paint the office and mausoleum. Mason and Noah of Faith and Stone used brushes and rollers on the mausoleum to prevent overspray getting onto granite, the surrounding headstones, and the vehicles visiting the cemetery. As a registered nonprofit and historic cemetery in Oregon, Eureka relies on new business to continue to provide burial spaces for today's families. However, we need donations to help us with the ongoing expenses to maintain the historic areas, keep up with mowing over 20 acres, road maintenance, and the other needs of a cemetery that is nearly 150 years old. Just like an old home, the cemetery requires continual care. Without people who care and give of themselves, the cemetery would be neglected and fall into disrepair. And this spring we all give an extra THANK YOU to Faith & Stone LLC for their donation to give us an extra glow when we needed it. We head into the Summer of 2026 looking extra special. I contacted Mid Valley Drain, as well as a few other companies, about getting a quote. James immediately answered the phone and said he could be out first thing the next morning. He showed up on time and by that afternoon I had a detailed quote with multiple options, all broken down by parts and price. Not only was I impressed by the detailed quote, I was very impressed by the price. The next morning James and his team were hard at work trenching my backyard. He had a team of 3 and they worked from 8 AM to 6 PM non-stop. I was impressed with their work ethic and the speed at which they got things done. 2 days later (4 days after calling for a quote), the job was done, and my issues were solved. We have not had any issues since the French drain went in. I've had a lot of bad experiences with contractors over the years, but James and his team at Mid Valley Drain were a breath of fresh air.
