He worked on the project for parts of 3 days. Finish was stripped, sanded, Dan said he was almost done, would come back the next day to finish it up and for final inspection. So, could I pay him? My mistake - I paid him $542, and he's not been back. That was in the month of March. The finish is dull, and for some reason, the wood has several white splotches scattered around the top. After several excuses as to why he can't get back to finish, he went totally dark on me. No contact at all since the month of April. i reached out again last week with no response. i guess I need to find another service to clean up the mess and finish the work.
