The scope of the repair ended up being slightly bigger than expected, but they had purchased enough material initially, so they didn't charge me more. After patching the concrete, they had some left over mix and asked if instead of letting it go to waste, if they could patch up some of the other parts of the sidewalk that could use it. My sewage line wasn't draining properly so I got bid from them. They used a camera (sophisticated) to explore the sewage line, which was about 60 ft from the fence line/alley. Guy said that it was old clay pipe that needed to be replaced for $7000. And they would have to replace it all the way to the city main, which would make Abilene the only city that allows anyone to work on their city mains. So just to check on what the city had which I figured was upgraded to pvc (it was) I dug down to the sewer line at the edge of the property. So I started digging down to the sewer line a couple of other places just to verify what the plumber claimed. It ended up only being clay about 10 ft on my property from the city's line. So if the guy had been honest and not tried to grossly exaggerated or pad the estimate he would have said replace the 10 feet of clay because he couldn't have missed it with the camera that he ran from the trap next to my house down toward the fence line. This is probably a common way that unscrupulous plumbers line their pockets. It took a day to dig up that 10 ft of clay and replace w pvc. Cost $89 for supplies. What a profit margin. The sad thing or maybe part of the scam was the fish (Christian) symbol on his truck.

I called for plumbing services because their HVAC service was great for me. Little did I know that…read morea slow draining bath tub would cost 300$ I was informed it was 135$ an hour on top of 35$ truck fee as well as another 35$ snake fee. I thought this was expensive but was giving them business based on the experience I had with their HVAC service. After unclogging the tub they said they would write up the invoice and be back. I was shocked to hear 300$. I was told the invoice would be emailed to me. It took 4 days and 2 phone calls to receive it. Then when I asked why it was so much I was told they charge an extra 95$ helper fee. I asked why they did not mention that before I requested service because they certainly let me know about the other fees all she could say was sorry. I am very disappointed in this company and will never use these guys for anything ever again. I strongly recommend using another company as well. These guys are charging ridiculous fees.
