She first sent over Dusty and Chad, Dusty is a super positive person and was great at explaining what I needed to do and what was wrong. Chad was a very nice person who answered questions easily and was very upbeat. The next visit, Gary and Dalton showed, again I had two very nice, down to earth and kind people, who explained the process and let me watch them work (the patience of these people is amazing lol!), while watching the process, I was impressed with Gary's thoroughness. These individuals are hard working guys who are willing to explain why they need to do what they are doing and I would recommend them to anyone. A good company that helped me out expediently and cheerfully. I appreciate it all very much - thanks guys and Rachel!! Recommended for great service, great quality and even better value!

I contacted Bryant's Plumbing wanting a bid on a fixer upper project and I trusted Bryant because I…read moregrew up with him. He convinced me I'd be better off letting his guys work hourly, rather than getting a bid, and he told me the work should take 2-3 days. Trusting they'd get the job done in a timely manner proved to be a huge mistake. I received the invoice and was totally shocked to find he had invoiced me for 4 full days. His guys also left a huge mess. Rotted cast iron was left in the front yard, the clean out was uncapped and they didn't bury it, the tub was filled with disgusting wet insulation, and the hot water heater that had a leak was left behind. I immediately contacted Bryant to express my concern over the price and we just went round and round in circles over the phone. At the end of our conversation, I asked him why his guys had left such a mess to which he replied that they weren't done yet. So in other words, he was going to have his guys go back out and bill me for a 5th day. Wow! Seriously, if you're going to give someone an estimate on time, you should at the very least be in the ballpark, if you call yourself a professional. Also you need to communicate when you are taking longer than quoted and the customer is being billed by the hour. Plus why are you sending me an invoice before the work is done? Doesn't make sense. I believe if I hadn't called him out, he would have taken my money and left me with that mess. Claiming to provide quality workmanship...please, spare me. Check the pics. Does this look like quality work to you?

We contacted Midway Plumbing when we were having a sink drain issue in my kitchen. The plumber;…read moreRyder Ratliff, did an awesome job in clearing the drain and in the process we encountered a few other issues. Ryder addressed them, completed the job with professionalism. He's very meticulous and does quality work. We appreciated the great work he did. We will use them again if needed in the future.

I would get a second or 3rd opinion from another plumber or verify with a friend or contractor who…read moreknows something about plumbing. My sewage line wasn't draining properly so I got bid from them. They used a camera (sophisticated) to explore the sewage line, which was about 60 ft from the fence line/alley. Guy said that it was old clay pipe that needed to be replaced for $7000. And they would have to replace it all the way to the city main, which would make Abilene the only city that allows anyone to work on their city mains. So just to check on what the city had which I figured was upgraded to pvc (it was) I dug down to the sewer line at the edge of the property. So I started digging down to the sewer line a couple of other places just to verify what the plumber claimed. It ended up only being clay about 10 ft on my property from the city's line. So if the guy had been honest and not tried to grossly exaggerated or pad the estimate he would have said replace the 10 feet of clay because he couldn't have missed it with the camera that he ran from the trap next to my house down toward the fence line. This is probably a common way that unscrupulous plumbers line their pockets. It took a day to dig up that 10 ft of clay and replace w pvc. Cost $89 for supplies. What a profit margin. The sad thing or maybe part of the scam was the fish (Christian) symbol on his truck.

Adams Plumbing was recommended to replace a broken hot water heater at the home of my mother, an 84…read moreyear old absentee homeowner. In the course of the repairs, it was determined the base for the hot water heater and interior of the A/C should be replaced. The home owner used a stone mason recommended by Adams Plumbing. The homeowner paid $2020.00 for the base. Subsequently, with no notification, explanation or offer of alternatives, Adams Plumbing tore down 1/2 of the masonry and replaced it with ugly cinder blocks. Pete Mares, owner of Adams Plumbing, agreed to make repairs to the base so they would match, but didn't. Another stone mason had to be called in at the cost of another $450.00 to the elderly home owner who is on a fixed income. The home owner has texts, receipts, telephone calls and witnesses that Mares admits to the destruction of the stone work and that he would "make it right". He never did. He then said he would reimburse the homeowner for the repairs to the stone. He never did. In fact, the first week of Oct., Pete Mares took $200.00 to the contractor overseeing the repair to the house with the request to get the homeowner's daughter "Off his a**.". I would never use this company and most certainly never trust them to not take advantage of the elderly or absentee homeowners.
