Our child was brought to Dr. Reynolds to ensure that they were okay during a high-conflict divorce. Still, instead of focusing on our child's care, he prioritized gossip and conjecture about my husband and me, pitting us both against one another. Without conducting formal evaluations, Dr. Reynolds labeled me with a disorder to my husband over the phone behind my back, going so far as to tell him that he should fear for our child's safety. He did the same thing with me regarding my husband. These baseless diagnoses, built on limited information and hearsay from his staff, who can "sense mental disorders," caused unnecessary fear, conflict, and harm. The irony is that although my husband and I are in the middle of a high-conflict divorce, we both agree on one thing: Dr. Reynolds is a danger to families in vulnerable situations. Even more troubling, the painful and invasive trauma assessment Dr. Reynolds conducted on *me* (remember, we took our child to him for evaluation, just to ensure he was alright) is missing from his detailed records of our sessions together. His notes reflect a biased and inaccurate narrative that misrepresents my mental health. He also failed to document his admissions of unethical behavior and his apologies for the harm he caused to our family when I booked an appointment to confront him with these concerns. Rather than focusing on the patient--our child--Dr. Reynolds fueled division, made disparaging comments about other medical professionals, and engaged in gossip. His actions caused emotional distress, worsened an already difficult situation, and ultimately failed to address our child's needs. If you are looking for a competent, ethical psychiatrist to support your family, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Families in vulnerable situations deserve better than the harm and chaos Dr. Reynolds leaves in his wake.

First off, they do not offer paid studies which is a bit disappointing if you're like me & live over 45 minutes away. However, if you're looking to keep your struggles private; you can easily do so at this center as it is located within a larger building housing many other businesses. At first appearances, it looks like a spa. The staff here is friendly and scheduling/cancelling an appointment is easy & convenient (you can make arrangements through text). Yet when I went into the room for my physical exam, it was dirty. There was trash on the floor, stains on the walls and the lighting was very dim. The hallways are littered with a variety of machines and makes navigating through the facility annoying because of the clutter. But I will say that they are conducting multiple studies and very clearly explain what they are & what they hope to achieve & how you can help yourself & contribute to advances in mental health as well. If you decide to participate in a study there is no pressure to do so. You can even change your mind later on & leave the study group. Due to my inability to swallow pills, I could not participate in the original study I had signed up for. But the staff really do go above & beyond, they found another program I could take advantage of. I will post an update as time goes on so that I can provide you with a better idea of what happens in clinical studies if you're new to trying this.

She put me on the same medication that I told her made my sister's illness far worse, and I proceeded to fall in the worst depressive episode of my life after she insisted/ pressured I take it. Never felt listened to. Never referred to a single note, she "took", and made me reexplain everything always. Not knowledgable a ton on different types of illnesses and medication interactions. I can't speak for the other psychiatrists, but DO NOT GO TO HER! She serious made me feel so much worse and constantly invalidated.
