I have had my hair done countless times, every color you could think of. Attached is a picture of a stylist in Suwanee (Salon 124) who charged $345, just for price comparison's sake. Originally I was quoted $260 at my consultation. I hadn't cut or dyed my hair in 2 years. My ends were an auburn brown and the top was purely my natural hair dark blonde/light brown hair. I wish I had taken pictures as the whole ordeal went on but description will have to do. My stylist was Marissa, who stated she had 2 years experience. I went in on the first day and left with bad bleach banding. She had not used foils (as originally planned) and it was obvious to even me, that it had been bleeding through my hair. (I have very fine hair, but a lot of it) I leave having paid $338 (with tip) in the end. Very unhappy and wearing only a bun. Flash forward to the day she said she would fix it free of charge. She attempts to do foils, doesn't apply nearly enough bleach and the tiger stripes are worse! She goes in again. No dice. Now my hair has been super processed. I had been very kind up to that point and started to point out spots she was missing that I could see in the front. Then she leaves again, only for me to find more strands where the center is brown while the tops and bottoms are blonde. I at this point get frustrated and call to the other stylists to come fix it as I no longer want her bleaching my hair. The owner comes over and seems almost irritated that I am now voicing concern, granted at this point I was losing all my patience. She starts saying how I should have said something sooner, as if I hadn't been telling her stylist what strands she was missing, returned for a correction and been there for hours. She states that she hasn't been on the floor the whole time. Quite frankly, every salon I've been to the stylists discuss with higher ups on the approach. I find it hard to believe she was unaware of the struggle going on. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, when I do finally raise my voice and not just show the stylist how to do her job, she tries to deflect blame to me and my hair. She was very disrespectful, especially as I'm getting worried my hair is just going to be doomed. Eventually it seems she realized that I am absolutely in the right and started foiling my hair. As she lifted up strands from the back, I couldn't help but laugh at how bad it was. She admitted it was rough but came up with an excuse about my hair being at fault. She did in the end provide me with a full refund and fixed it to the pictures you see now. It is by no means perfect or at all what I asked for when I came in. (a bit of lightness) You can see where the two big racing stripes on the strands are even after 4 corrections. Save your money and time. (all the other reviews about attitude and treating her receptionist, 100% true)

So obviously I thought this would be a good experience. NOT! The first threader I told her I wanted to keep my eybrows natural, clean up and a little shape. Well, it did feel right and her pull was not what I'm.accustomed. I asked to see what it look like. My skin looked like ant bites. Skin just broken and red from the threading. This is not going to work. I should have left right then. The owner had another threader, an older lady to.take over. She tried to appease by putting something on the right eyebrow. She starts on the left eyebrow. Her touch and.pull was definitely lighter. So again, I said just a clean up and keep natural brow. She asked if she could aloe Vera gel on.. I.agreed. I should have not. Recommendation. Use fresh aloe or rose water. That gel is not nautral and has hint of alcohol in it. So here's the kicker......after I leave and I'm n in sunlight is when I can clearly see my left brow was butchered and does not even look like the right brow! So now I have to walk around 3 weeks looking like a fool! I regret I paid cash and even tipped at this point. I wouldn't recommend unless the owner is willing to do the service herself or if you just don't mind taking a chance losing a few $6+ $2 tip & your natural brow shape!

What I like about her cutting technique is that it's always precise and on point. She listens to me and does exactly how I describe or if I decide to bring in a picture she gives me exactly what I want. She is able to handle all types of hair without skipping a beat. I have seen very few people who are as confident and comfortable as she is with a pair of scissors while handling so many different types of hair. I'm not a fan of salons especially here in Atlanta, so having someone cut my hair and give me what I want without spending hours in a salon and paying tons of money is priceless in my book. Not to mention that the cut is only $15! I can get an appointment for the same day or even walk right in and I'm out in no time at all.

I called the same day hoping to get in, and I was told to come on in! I had called another salon and was not given a clear answer, so I really appreciated how straightforward and accommodating Sabour was. This was my first time getting my hair professionally done in about 3 years, so I was a little nervous, but everyone there was so kind, patient, and welcoming. The salon itself was very clean, and had a calm, comfortable atmosphere. I had a consultation before my service, and they really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I received full gray coverage (Demi color, I think), some type of steam/conditioning treatment, a silk press, and a much needed trim. I don't remember the exact name of everything, but my hair was soft, healthy, and beautiful afterward! I just hate that I forgot to take a picture! The color held together very well until the gray roots started coming back, and the softness lasted until I washed it myself about two weeks later (I tried to recreate the salon softness on my own, but failed:). Now I will say this: I'm not used to spending over $100 on my hair, so paying over $200 definitely hurt my feelings a little, but at the same time, the quality of the service and the results made it worth it. I don't go to salons often because of the cost, but I would definitely return when I'm ready to treat myself again. If you're looking for a friendly salon that delivers great results, I would definitely recommend them!
