TLDR; unprofessional, inexperienced stylists. Save yourself 11 hours I am going to try and be as transparent as possible, but this is unlike anything I've experienced. I have had my hair done countless times, every color you could think of. Attached is a picture of a stylist in Suwanee (Salon 124) who charged $345, just for price comparison's sake. Originally I was quoted $260 at my consultation. I hadn't cut or dyed my hair in 2 years. My ends were an auburn brown and the top was purely my natural hair dark blonde/light brown hair. I wish I had taken pictures as the whole ordeal went on but description will have to do. My stylist was Marissa, who stated she had 2 years experience. I went in on the first day and left with bad bleach banding. She had not used foils (as originally planned) and it was obvious to even me, that it had been bleeding through my hair. (I have very fine hair, but a lot of it) I leave having paid $338 (with tip) in the end. Very unhappy and wearing only a bun. Flash forward to the day she said she would fix it free of charge. She attempts to do foils, doesn't apply nearly enough bleach and the tiger stripes are worse! She goes in again. No dice. Now my hair has been super processed. I had been very kind up to that point and started to point out spots she was missing that I could see in the front. Then she leaves again, only for me to find more strands where the center is brown while the tops and bottoms are blonde. I at this point get frustrated and call to the other stylists to come fix it as I no longer want her bleaching my hair. The owner comes over and seems almost irritated that I am now voicing concern, granted at this point I was losing all my patience. She starts saying how I should have said something sooner, as if I hadn't been telling her stylist what strands she was missing, returned for a correction and been there for hours. She states that she hasn't been on the floor the whole time. Quite frankly, every salon I've been to the stylists discuss with higher ups on the approach. I find it hard to believe she was unaware of the struggle going on. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, when I do finally raise my voice and not just show the stylist how to do her job, she tries to deflect blame to me and my hair. She was very disrespectful, especially as I'm getting worried my hair is just going to be doomed. Eventually it seems she realized that I am absolutely in the right and started foiling my hair. As she lifted up strands from the back, I couldn't help but laugh at how bad it was. She admitted it was rough but came up with an excuse about my hair being at fault. She did in the end provide me with a full refund and fixed it to the pictures you see now. It is by no means perfect or at all what I asked for when I came in. (a bit of lightness) You can see where the two big racing stripes on the strands are even after 4 corrections. Save your money and time. I wouldn't book my another appointment here even if they were offering $1 haircuts. I paid $85 for a "deep condition" and haircut where my hair was cut about 1.5 in from my scalp in a few face framing spots. When I finally called to see if it could be fixed two weeks later, the person who booked my appointment cut me off more than once as I was trying to explain and ultimately booked me for a "bang trim" which was not at all what I needed. When I arrived for the appointment and explained, I was told that there's no fixing it. And no matter how many points I made about the mistake, this stylist (not the one who originally did the cut) kept telling me that it wasn't a mistake, in fact it was new growth and this happens all over the scalp. Funny- because my hair definitely doesn't grow over and inch in two weeks. I'm still baffled that a (seeming) manager type would continue to gaslight a customer and not accept any responsibility for a mistake that was made in the salon. Take your money elsewhere. read more

I'm very disappointed in this salon. I had an appointment on Saturday, and when I showed up, even though I made the appointment requesting "color", I was told by the stylist that she didn't have time and I rescheduled for Tuesday. When I showed up on Tuesday, I showed the stylist the picture again and she said she could achieve that color. She quoted me $260 (which is still higher than what's listed online), and said she already included an extra 4oz of color in that price. As she was doing my hair, she kept telling me that it looked good. As soon as I saw the product, I was extremely sad. It is not at all what I asked for, and I wish she would've been honest about how the process was coming along. At the end of everything I was going to take what had happened and move on, but then she told me the price would be $435. This was very far from the price I was quoted. She ended up offering me a 20% discount, which I wouldn't have gotten if I wasn't a student at KSU and it wasn't a Tuesday or Thursday. Throughout the entire process she never told me how much it was adding up to be, either. I ended up tipping $50 anyway, because the stylist also had two stylists working on my hair at the same time. I am calling the owner of the salon tomorrow to see what can be worked out. I do not recommend. read more

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is very modern and chic, but comfortable. They have a Keurig and flavored coffee creamers which is almost enough to get a 5 star by itself! My stylist, Susan, was incredible. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted and she mixed a red and brown together just for me. The result was incredible! I've gotten so many compliments on my new color. She was so friendly and knowledgable. I will always request her! I also like how easy it is to get discounts here. Check in on Facebook to get 10% off. I had my first haircut and full highlights with Lamanda. My hair looks amazing! She was able to do exactly what I wanted. She did an outstanding job on a razor cut. I live in Florida and visit Kennesaw about every six weeks. I will definitely go back to this salon. Lamanda and the rest of the staff are warm and friendly. I asked for layers and bangs and my stylist was Hannah, the bangs turned out great but my layers came out super choppy and unblended. I went back and to get it fixed and it was still not what I wanted. For a $40 cut I expected a way better outcome. I will not be returning. read more

I found a new salon! My stylist is always booked so I decided to try someone new, and I'm glad I did. This salon is closer to my house and the ladies that work there are all so friendly and helpful. Terrible experience. Went in for cut, first time there. My stylist was awesome and my cut turned out amazing, but the atmosphere was very weird. One stylist(who I later found out was the owner) kept talking about very personal, unprofessional things to the girl in her chair. At one point, they were talking about politics and the owner almost caught an attitude because her client had a different opinion. The owner is also very rude to her receptionist, kinda barks at her and treats her like a slave. Wish I could come back because my hair was perfect and my stylist was so sweet and knowledgeable... but because of the owner, I will not return. read more
