When I'd call, the majority of the time it would go to voicemail regardless of the option I chose- case manager, operator, attorney. I couldn't get anyone. If I did get someone on the phone, it was never my case manager. I would explain to the person on the phone (likely an operator) that I had questions or would like an update on my case. This person couldn't answer my questions but would give me the information to my case manager, which I already had and had been trying to reach out to, and this information was relayed to the operator I spoke with, who of course couldn't do anything about it. I didn't know what to do at that point. No matter how many voicemails I left my case manager, emails I sent, or text messages I sent to her direct number, none of them were returned. If I got a call/text/email from Shane Smith it was because of something they needed, wanted to tell me, or a promotional email, never a return call from my countless number of voicemails, emails, or text messages I've sent over the last 11 months. To go through my entire case with no forthcoming communication was exasperating, to say the least. I've referred my friends and family to Shane Smith and to get treated in this manner, especially after having them represent my cases over the last 12 years, was beyond disappointing.
