He's a (somewhat) knowledgable doctor but has a massively inflated ego. The first time I went he said that he doesn't want to treat ANYONE that goes to another doctor (including if you're travelling and need a doctor for a few months in another state/country). On the 2nd visit I had with him he said there was a "breakdown in communication" between us because I didn't want him as my primary care doctor and had medical attention from another doctor since the last visit (I dont know why his staff allowed a 2nd apt to happen if he was so against it). At that point the appointment was a waste, so I left. Got a letter in the mail less than a week later saying that he'd never treat me again because there was a "breakdown in communication". Really unneeded, condescending, and holier than thou attitude. If you don't want a patient to come into your office, don't let your staff book them, that simple. If you're looking for a knowledgable doctor that is the only doctor you go to, this is your guy. If you're like the rest of the world and theres a chance you'll visit another doctor, don't waste your time here because he will refuse to treat you and you'll get a rude letter in the mail that you hurt his feelings for visiting other doctors too.

He is extremely friendly and really explains everything to you. The most important thing for me is that he never judged me. I always feel comfortable when I see him. I have had other doctors (too many to count) that treated me horribly, judged me or did not listen to me at all. Dr. Oetter actual cares and listens to my concerns. I recently moved out of state and needed my prescription refilled at a nearby location. Instead of just telling me "okay, but make sure you see a Doctor down there asap," she proceeded to treat me like s*** and reluctantly took my information to see if the nurse could help me. The conversation ended with her basically telling me "idk, good luck." I had to call CVS where I live now to find out if my prescription got filled. Luckily they have half a brain to fill me in. They couldn't believe how terribly I was treated at this office. They need some sort of sign off from Dr. Kaup now. They sent a fax to this office and are waiting for an answer. I doubt they'll help, but I foresee a phone call in my future where I get scolded for "wasting their time," or some other BS. I'm pretty upset with the way this situation has been handled, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's unfortunate, because Dr. Kaup was great. I made the comment that it should be fun since my writing hand is in a sling. The girl said said "oh" and rolled her eyes! First red flag. Then told me that I had a co pay. First I heard about it. I said I didn't have it and wasn't aware of it. She said she would hav the ask management and took my id and my insurance card and went and asked. She came back and said I would have to reschedule. As a nurse for over 40 years, I have never seen such inappropriate behavior from a physician! It's one thing to cut you off, be insulting, or not answer your questions, but a temper tantrum about MRI results was the last straw. Apparently, he wants your results on one CD, and don't you DARE to bring him 3 CD's! Then yelled at me how he HATES CORWELL HEALTH- like it's my fault. I was told I needed to pick only one CD for his review, because he doesn't have time to look at all of them. How am I supposed to know? He was angry at me that I went to Niles to get my MRI. Since I went to Niles last fall, it is good to compare the them, but Dr Drew didn't care. I was upset & crying, and he decided to discharge me from his practice. As I was leaving, crying, I told the staff what happened, and Dr Drew told me to leave or he'd call the police. I was in SHOCK at this treatment. My primary physician was told about this & he said I needed to report him for verbal abuse & inappropriate behavior. I intend to do just that.

This is the worst doctor I have​ ever visited. I visited once at the insistence of my therapist…read morethat I find a primary care physician for my depression and anxiety. My appointment was at 9:30 and I did not leave the office until 1pm. In that time, I saw the doctor a total of maybe five to ten minutes. They ran unnecessary tests without asking or saying what they are for and sent them off to a lab where they didn't give my insurance information to and I was given a bill from Quest for $1,500 that I didn't knew I had that is due at the end of this month! After all my testing, I had to DEMAND to see the doctor as they tried to send me home without any care whatsoever . When i did see the doctor, (the woman) she had the worst bedside manner possible, telling me not to get tattoos (which were all done in a shop) as ell as telling me I wasn't really depressed (at first they lost my depression screening results). People who aren't depressed don't tell people that they have seriously thought about suicide the last two weeks. I had to insist that she give me something for the depression. I left that office feeling worse than when I showed up. I am never going to return. It is clear that they only really care about the money and not patient health.
