I happen to come here because it's attached to a Dunkin' Donuts and they are connected so it's easy to lure you in as the store is very large and inviting and everywhere you look there's some kind of candy or ice cream!

Chocolate, wine and tchotchkes for days! If you happen past this shop, pop in and enjoy the eclectic mix of items on offer, and of course, some sweets! This shop is on the way to my husband's family so we have stopped in many a time. They have pre-packaged goodies, locally sourced wine, ice cream and cold cases with chocolates / fudge. The prices are decent and it's easy to find a snack and take it on the run for your drive. We've gotten a few different bottles of their wines and enjoy the pineapple and chocolate wines! Looking for a cold treat for those hot days? Grab a cone or cup of ice cream from the hand dipped area. Overall: A Good stop for satisfying your sweet tooth on a long drive!

Good stuff! My family have been visiting here for over a decade now. Goat milk fudge and milkshake is our staple. Good to know they have better customer support now than our previous visits. Nice place to shop for Florida souvenirs and to take a break from your travels along old Florida roads. Stop in and enjoy a piece of nostalgia and indulge your taste buds .

Smoothest, most delicious chocolate and (goat milk) fudge I have had in...EVER. On my way back from Bok Tower today I HAD to stop at Webb's Candy Shop. We're talking old school, folks. This shop has been around since 1932! How many things can you say that about? The very helpful staff was good enough to advise me the fudge, jellies, and ice cream are made in house with the exception of the salt water taffy. I highly recommend the citrus-flavored candy jellies. Especially if you're looking for a lovely sweet treat to gift. Delicious! The chocolate-covered Oreos - get several. The fudge pops - pick up the whole dang display. Shops like this are keepers, but you will not keep these treats around for long. They, like this experience at Webb's Candy Shop, are to be savored.

a cup of ice cream with a spoon sticking out of it

This place is totally gone downhill it used to have real hot fudge real whipped cream and the ice cream used to taste like hell of a lot better never going back I started going to this place since 1993 My son threw away his ice cream and now I'm throwing away mine

I'll take you to the candy shop Boy, one taste of what I got I'll have you spending all you got Keep going til you hit the spot, whoaaa..... Who wants to go to the candy shop? My cousin.. I guess he has a sweet tooth. The staff was quite friendly. It's a nice break/pit stop if you are on highway 27. We tried a couple of ice cream sample. Webb's Candy shop uses goat milk which makes all candy a bit creamier. The ice cream, fudge and everything I tried are on the sweet side. They have a 3 for $20 fudge bar special. The secret is to pick the heaviest 3 bars. I was quick to pick up on the tip and got like $26 bucks worth of fudge. The cashier said we did good and gave us a wink. A nice array of chocolate and candy options.

The candy may be filled with sugar but nothing is sweeter than Aunt Laurie who wants to be everyone's favorite Aunt. She greets you with a silver tray of candy because you are family and no one can walk around her store without eating candy. I wanted to purchase a chocolate dipped pretzel covered in Rolos and she insisted on gifting it to me along with a freshly dipped chocolate covered Oreo. I had to insist on buying something so I purchased a chocolate dipped pretzel covered in Snow Caps. The chocolate dipped treats were amazing. I wish I had gotten more but I had a long day ahead of me in a hot car. Next time I visit I will be sure to bring a cooler. Auntie Laurie also does gift baskets and party favors. If your child is celebrating a birthday be sure to bring them in to visit Aunt Laurie for her special love and attention. The candy is wonderful but just being around Aunt Laurie is enough to put a smile on your face.

It's a good drive from where we live and I usually stop if I have other things in the area the vet we use is near here And sometimes I combine it with a trip to them, but this time was after a medical appointment. This is a really long building and when you first stop in, you might think there are multiple businesses, but it's all open inside with one store. Every time we stop here the people working are friendly and helpful. They always have free samples on some of the candies and occasionally on some of the Preserves that they sell. I'm a big fan of their jellies, jams, preserves, and conserves and more. On this occasion, we picked up an assortment of their candies and a couple of jars. One is a raspberry jalapeño jelly and the other one is a blueberry conserve. These are both new ones for us to try and they both sound delicious. I like shopping here because you get to support a local business and everything is tasty. The places well lit and always clean. If you're traveling, they also provide shipping on many of their products. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

This is where you will find the most uniquely Florida candy store. Back in the early 1900s T. W. Davidson grew oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines near Dundee. In the 1960s his son, Glen, planted his own citrus groves and started Davidson of Dundee. Glen had a career with the large candy companies up north. In Florida he created his own version of the citrus candy, based on a recipe his mother used to make with sugar cane and citrus juice. He used the fresh juices from his groves so the candy retained its full citrus flavor. Davidson of Dundee is now run by Glen's son, Tom Davidson. The candy company has been featured on the Food Network, Fox, CBS, ABC, and has also been featured in Smart Money and Southern Living magazines. The process of making delicious jam and candy starts in their own 200 acre citrus orchard where they grow Valencia oranges, tangerines, and key limes. The harvested fruit is then taken into the kitchens at Davidson where the it is cut and juiced. Jelly is made from juice, jam contains the pulp, and marmalade contains the peel. None of the fruit goes to waste. The juice is also used in the candy. You can watch the process from the large glass windows. Whole fruit is shipped to people all over the country. One of the highlights of a visit to Davidsons is the free samples. Tom still makes the citrus flavored jelly candy his dad created but he has also experimented with new flavors. You can buy the candy in small bags or in different gift basket combinations. In addition to the jam, jelly, spreads, and candy, Davidson also sells chocolate alligators, tea, sauces, dressings, and Florida souvenirs. I couldn't resist the pecan logs and strawberry delight jelly candy. If you can't make it in person they have an online store.
