First time visiting this park and we saw lots of wildlife here…read more I like how the info board at the entrance of the park tells you where everything is and the estimated time it will take to complete each trail, and the distance of the trail and if it's flat or steep elevation. Very useful and helpful to decide which trail to go. We decided to do the Mini River Loop trail which is 2.3 km and will take about an hour to complete. However from the south entrance, we need to take the South Valley trail which is steep downhill to the valley where it will meet the Mini River Loop trail. Fortunately the steepness is not so bad and you can walk on the side which is grass if you are like me, afraid of slipping on the loose gravels in the middle. Just watch out for wildlife. We saw a skinny snake on the south valley trail. I was too stunned and by the time I wanted to take a picture, the snake has slithered across to the grass area. I managed to take a pic of it entering the forest. Only 2 steep parts of the south valley trail and then it was flat before meeting the Mini River Loop trail. That is a very nice walk with benches scattered around. On that trail, we saw chipmunk and squirrel and some tiny birds hopping on the ground. You can also hear the birds chirping and animals rustling among the leaves and bushes in the forest. We also saw people walking and running with their dogs, having picnics. A very nice place to be with nature and do some forest bathing. There is a pond near the parking lot and we heard the bullfrogs and saw ducks there. Definitely recommended for a simple commune with nature.

For the most part it's pretty clean and a well maintained trail. Lots of signs and maps so you don't have to worry about getting lost. Cell phone service varies depending on how deep the tree canopy is so be aware. There are washrooms along the trail near the garden park. Definitely will come back for this little slice of heaven in my back yard.

My friend and I have ridden there several times - taking varous routes through the beautiful Campbell Valley Park. Their horses are excellent and owner Gene, and his partner Joanne, are professional and fun to be around. They not only take good care of their horses, they take good care of their riders. What really struck me was the family atmosphere, a place that would be perfect for kids to hang out and play. There was play area, concession stand, picnic tables, pumpkin patches, and the star attraction: the corn maze. A hard or easy option, of which we decided to be adventurous and go for the hard option. Boyfriend and I completed the hard maze in 45 minutes, and that is with us getting turned around twice. There are periodic signs where the answers will guide you on which way to go... as long as you answer correctly. It had rained a day or two before, and signs were posted at the entrance warning us of poor, muddy conditions. Boy they weren't joking! I'm glad I wore my hiking shoes; they were absolutely caked by the time we were done. Amusingly enough, at the end of the maze there is a designated spot for you to scrape excess mud from your shoes. Even with the muddy conditions, this new adventure gave me more smiles than I thought I would get, wandering around a corn maze. It was fun! I admit, the only thing that could have made it better was if it wasn't so cold and windy (even when we made sure to bundle up), but of course that is out of their control.

We were there for over two hours and the staff were continually cleaning up. The bath rooms were spotless. The staff were also very friendly. They also checked to ensure you were leaving with your own child which is very important IMO. We would like to point out several issues we had this past weekend. We've read nothing but good things about the little gym of Langley for the most part so it was very disheartening that our family would be given this poor service that we had to comment and make management aware. 1. Communication. Our party was booked for 1:30pm on Saturday January 18. We made several attempts to contact The Little Gym of Langley via phone and text during the week to try to confirm what the inclement weather policy would have been in case the venue wasn't open due to weather. We only found out that the venue was closed for the whole week when we decided to drive to the venue on January 17th to see if we could speak to someone. At the least somebody should have advised us of the potential of closure of the venue and inclement weather policy instead of us having to stress out about whether or not the venue would be open and if we would have to arrange alternative place to hold our daughters 1stbirthday. This was extremely poor customer service. 2. We arrived at the venue shortly after 1pm on January 18th, the staff arrived at the same time. The venue was extremely cold, especially the play area. This is not ideal for small children. The building was closed the whole week and heat was obviously not on. That is not a comfortable setting. The staff did turn up the heat but the play area stayed quite cold for the duration of the hour of play time. The upstairs party area was fine after a while but this was not ideal. 3. Cleanliness. I am not sure what the protocol of the venue is in regards to regular cleaning but the both the play area and the upstairs party area were not very clean. The play area and equipment was very dusty. This is not ideal or considerate of children who have dust allergies or asthma. I myself have a dust allergy and asthmatic bronchitis and could definitely feel the dust. The party room area tables were all sticky and unclean, the staff put table cloths over the tables but still that is not something we want to see. 4. This is directly off of the The Little Gym of Langley website. "An Awesome Birthday Bash party is an hour and a half and includes: a qualified birthday leader plus an assistant, all the set-up and clean-up, paper goods (plates, forks, cups, napkins), drinks for each child in the party room, a gift registry (if you open your presents while you're with us), balloons for decoration, a The Little Gym t-shirt for the Birthday Child, and invitations (either through Evite or printed, addressed, stamped and mailed for you!)" - Plates were provided but they were small plates meant for children, not regular lunch size paper plates or anything. This is not ideal for adults. I even asked for paper plates to be brought out but nobody did. - Forks, cups and napkins were not brought out. I went into the drawers myself to find as many plastic forks as I could find and brought them out myself and there still wasn't enough for each piece of cake we were giving out to our guests. We brought our own cups for the kids and bottled water for the adults but no paper cups were provided for the pop and juice that we brought in for adults to drink as well. Napkins were not provided. We brought some of our own but not enough for everyone. There were rolls of paper towel available at the sinks only. We had asked for all this to be brought out but nobody brought them out and no explanation was provided. There were no plastic spoons at all. - We were not provided drinks for each child in the party room. I asked about this as well and the associate asked if I had asked for them. I shouldn't have to ask for things that are clearly supposed to be provided. - Some balloons for decoration were provided. - There was no t-shirt provided for my daughter - No invitations were provided but we didn't care about that. There was clearly no organization, preparation or planning by the staff for our party. The venue was closed for the whole week and they arrived about 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the party. That is not enough time to ensure everything I mentioned above could be planned for. We appreciate the use of the venue and believe that with proper organization, preparation and service that wonderful parties have taken place at the venue but that was not the case for us. It was our daughter's first birthday and we were definitely hoping for much better service than what was provided for the price that we paid. I asked about these issues when I went to pay at the end of the party and was provided with silence and "I'm not sure if we do that here" as responses. That is unacceptable. We sent an email to management on January 20th but still have not received any response either so obviously they don't care.

I definitely agree with previous reviewers. Aidan has very nice view for her business, and horses. She is so respectful, and friendly! I love having her teaching me how to work with a horse. She teaches me how to be a leader, how to read horses' body language, and how to be a great rider. I recommend this place to everyone! This place is very different from other barns and horseback riding schools, and that is why it is the nicest place I've ever been to. You can see that horses are very calm and relaxed. I feel safe around Aidan's horses! Aidan keep doing what you are doing!

She was very patient with me, walked me around to meet all the horses and then we groomed Neesha, a beautiful black horse. I was tentative but she showed me and gave me the confidence to perform all the tasks and helped with the hind hooves when it was a little more challenging for me. We lead the horse around and she showed me how to use my intentions to guide the horse. She is so gentle with the animals and really tries to get that across. Once I was comfortable leading the horse on the ground I got on a very thin saddle. And from there I was lead around while learning how the horse can feel my body in order to determine the correct action. And then I was on my own! Directing the horse by myself was so rewarding. It is only the beginning of my adventure but I would hands down recommend her if you are a novice like myself. She also teaches more advance riders and although I cannot speak for those riders, I think she would be a wonderful teacher for all levels. And just mentioning again how gentle her methods are!

Using microphone, they warn the kids directly. If the kid doesn't listen, they will point out what he/she is wearing, what eating, what in their hand. I guess it's embarrassing for the kids, but following rule is more important. : very tidy and clean. The clerks walk around often and check the garbage bin following recycling rule. Much elder people are also working and they are very friendly. : Adult can have fun. The rechargeable play game is very convenient, and tickets (how much you won) added into the card digitally. No expiring. You can use the card for next time. Negative part : maybe 95 % of guests take off shoes at entrance. Some adult still wear them. Maybe because they won't play. The problem is going to public bathroom only with socks. When you think about hygiene, it was disgusting. I wished I had shoes. : I hope they have variety of prizes.

This place is always full of birthday parties but it has never been disruptive to other non party members. Cost on weekends is almost 11$ but you can stay from starting time to closing time if u want. The max we have stayed there is 4 hours coz the little ones get exhausted from all the playing!!
