Weber Flooring was recommended to us from a close friend shortly after we purchased our new home. We knew we needed carpet immediately and quickly began the hunt for the best options around. We had look at a few others before getting the recommendation but once we visited Pat at Weber Flooring we dismissed the other contenders! The first step was having one of Weber's technicians come to our home to do a free estimate. Our technician was very professional and thorough. A couple of days later we visited the storefront to see what options we had. Let me tell you we had plenty! There's a huge selection of any type of flooring you can imagine & they have a ton of options in stock so you can get your flooring installed ASAP which was awesome since Lowes told us there was a minimum 30 day installation wait. All prices were marked which made it easy to determine what was in our budget & what wasn't. They had a wide selection of carpets and pads which allowed us to make a thorough decision that we were happy with. Once we got everything picked out, Pat quickly tallied up the total cost for materials and installation and we chose a date that worked well for install. While they do contract their installation work to other companies, they only use a select few that meet their standards. I can attest to that, as we just had our carpets installed today and the two gentlemen were fantastic. They were professional, thorough and did an overall fantastic job. We are so excited and thankful for the Weber Flooring recommendation and will be sure to utilize this business in the future! I was supposed to have some repair work completed today at 11:00. The repairman called in sick but I was not notified he would not be showing up. I had shuffled some things around to ensure I would be here so I'm disappointed that this company did not follow through and notify me that no one would be coming out today. They did reschedule it for tomorrow so we will see if someone shows up. I did have issues on my initial calls and emails trying to get a response. Poor customer service. read more

I had used Weber before and had a good experience. I went back to purchase carpet and have installed in my basement. the install was rushed and was the worst install I've ever seen. the seams were ragged and there were gaps. I knew that they would be an issue and notified the lady who eas my salesperson. they sent out "technicians" twice. The first guy hammered the seams down. The second guy admitted it was an issue and offered to replace one portion. I of course had to pay to have it installed again. months later the seams are all coming unraveled and we can't even vacuum without causing more damage. avoid this company at all costs. I wish I had read all the negative reviews beforehand. read more

We used Weber flooring through ServiceMaster due to water damage. DO NOT use them if there is another vendor available! The workers were sloppy, and quality of work is some of the worst I've seen. Our floors looked better before they were redone. After just a short period the floors have visible scratches everywhere, the finish is dull and there are just two of us in the home. Our base board and base shoe still have numbers written on them and they were pieced back together where they didn't need to be. The workers left urine all over our toilet seat and the smell was bad. I found nails they removed from the base shoe all over my garage floor which I showed to the ServiceMaster foreman. They threw their bags of combustible sawdust in my front landscaping which the foreman was very upset about and had to have them come clean up their mess. I would suggest to ServiceMaster to quickly find another vendor that takes pride in their work. If Weber had any integrity, they would treat their customers better and improve their quality of work. I will also be making ServiceMaster aware of their lack of quality work. read more

Awful sales experience! We requested an in-home sales presentation as advertised on their website. What we got was a measure tech who dropped three sample books on our kitchen counter, proceeded to measure without conversing with us, then started asking questions about how we wanted the new flooring installed. He was visibly taken aback when we told him we haven't even picked out a product! I told him it was our understanding that's why HE'S here, to outline their products! Yeah, no he's not a salesman. Not the best experience. Took a number of calls to get installation complete. We were informed after installation that flooring was discontinued and additional flooring could not be found when we wanted to use excess in another room. We are now stuck with 4 boxes of left over flooring with no offer to take them back and provide a refund. We estimate that we are sitting on about $400 of unusable material. I bought vinyl laminate flooring for the kitchen. In less than a year the joint cracked. There response - it's my fault. I had it taken out and replace with vinyl sheet flooring. I got one year no interest to pay for it and by my second payment - it has a gouge in it. They say it's my fault. I've had kitchen flooring of various types for 35 yeas in KC with no problems. Bought from them twice and they tell me it's my fault that neither floor lasted a year. Unless they have a sale where they are GIVING away product and installation, I will never use them again, nor can I recommend them to anyone. As a side note, I had them install the kitchen floor an one room with carpet. They sent ONE person out to install who was working in my home until midnight. Absolute joke of a company. read more

Weber installed wood floors in my living room and kitchen and tile floors in my bathrooms including the floor on the master shower. The grout on the floor of the master shower washed away on portions of the floor and the wood floors made "popping" and cracking sounds. This wasn't an occasional creak in floor, it was all over and very loud. I asked them to come back and look at both, they redid the grout but told me the floor was because it was winter time and wood stop once temperatures warmed up, I told them I'd had wood floors before and never heard what I was hearing but I would wait. By early May the grout had washed away again and no change in the floors. I even emailed pictures of the grout. At first, they said they would come back out but never did and they stopped responding to my emails. I've never seen grout wash away so quickly on a shower floor and my wood floors are embarrassing they sound so bad when you walk on them. For me, both their installation and certainly their not being willing to follow up with me and stand behind their work is a big issue. I could not recommend them to anyone that needed any type of flooring. read more

Leawood is a joke. We have been lied to 3 times by a woman at the Leawood location. I responded to a mailer that advertised $25 off for every dollar spent as well as free padding upgrade, free haul off of old carpet and pad, and free pre-measure. The offer was good from May 3rd through May 6th. I went to the showroom on May 4th and was told twice (without my asking) that the offers on the mailer that I had in hand would be honored. When I received the quote, the only thing that was honored was the free pre-measure. True bait-and-switch. I declined to move forward with the purchase out of fear that the carpet I purchase will also be switched. read more

Went into this Lenexa location looking for carpet because I was working with a sales person at a location not as close to my house. When I walked in I was greeted until they found out I was working with a different sales person at a different store then everyone just sat back down and pretended I wasn't even there. What is this a used car lot where is dog eat dog? Your customer service sucks and apparently you have your sales people so strapped down competing with each other that they won't even help each other. Disgusting! read more

You must pay the total amount of the job BEFORE they will put you on the schedule! The Installer was late the first day and the entire job was to be completed in 2 days. It took 3 days and they left without doing anything about carpet to tile transitions except rolling the carpet under and telling us "an installer will call you to finish the carpet transitions." The floor does look great however we are tripping on the transitions. After no call from anyone and our return call to the store, "Do you want tile transition of metal edging?" and "we'll have someone call you back" We were hestant to pay the full amount before the job was even scheduled. Nothing had to be ordered and was in stock at the store. Buyer Beware! read more

Weber does horrible tile installation. I tore out everything so they had a fresh start and still they could not lay tile level. The tiles are very uneven and hurt your feet to walk on them barefoot. They came out a replaced a few tiles but just made it worse. Their manager came out and said it was the inconsistency in the tile itself which was not true. Weber doesn't care about the quality of their work. They left us with a mess! read more

Ron Miles is amazing! He was incredibly patient and helpful when I chose carpet for my entire 2nd floor. The installers arrived the next week. They were done 6:30pm (lunch break included). The only complaint is they broke my sons desk. I noticed it during my final walk through. I asked why they didn't show it to me or mention it when it happened during the day. The lead guy didn't know why. I called Ron and he was on it and said to send over photos and the cost of the desk. The company denied approval or reimbursement because the installers claimed it was already broken when they picked it up and that they had photos as well. I asked when they took the photos, no one knows. Ron went above and beyond and offered to pay me half out of his pocket. Great service from Ron. Not a fan of the rest of the team. read more

Called and spoke to Sara Calderon for carpet removal, she said it would $95 for curb pick up, and $.18 per square foot for them to remove. 2 days later they came to measure my 900 sq ft area, and determined $185. I said okay, so she said they would come next tuesday. Tuesday came and went and I never heard from them. I called on Wednesday (7 days later) and asked for a quote and schedule, she then told me it would be Friday. We went to pay and she said it would be $300 because they have a minimum change. I asked why she wouldn't tell me that to begin with and she said she thought I'd have more carpet. We went to finally pay and she said $400 with taxes and fees. I told Sara that since we are now 11 days into this, and the price has gone from $185 to $400 that I'm no longer going to have Weber replace my hardwood, carpet, tile and that we all lost. I lost because I would have paid anything with up-front pricing. Weber lost because i will not employ them for a $20K project. Sara then told me "have you every heard of anyone coming to pick up carpet for $95. These people need to feed their families!" Sara, if they need to feed their families, provide up-front fucking pricing and I will pay them to feed their families. You prevented them from ".. feeding their families", not me. Also, when the guy finally showed up to collect my curb side pickup, he goes "where is your carpet?" and I said "I called Sara yesterday and told her that I live in an HOA and can't have a massive pile of carpet at the curb for 2 days. So I will wheel it on a platform that i built with wheels to the curb when they arrive." He then said "she never told me that." Nope Sara didn't, she didn't do much here. read more

Please seek carpet elsewhere. This place deserves a HUGE WARNING. About a year ago my husband and I had the carpet on our stairs replaced by this company. At the time of installation, I asked the man if he even put padding under the carpet due to the way it looked and felt. His response was that he had installed padding under the carpet. WRONG. From that day on, with every step we take, we get stabbed with the sharp tack strip. Have you seen a tack strip for carpet?! It's crazy painful to step on with every stair! I've tried to get in contact with the person who sold us the carpet by calling and by email but they have ignored me. Our money has gone out the window! Honestly worst service and product I have ever spent money on. Not only did the man not install padding, the carpet on the stairs isn't straight. Looks horrible. The value of product and service they sell is the worst on the market. Better luck going to any of the other flooring locations in Johnson county. read more

If I could give Weber zero stars I would. Tasha in Lees Summit has no communication skills. My installation was scheduled as the first appt of the day on a Monday. I called and emailed to confirm before taking a day off work. The day of installation Tasha emails me to confirm I am the first installation with a time frame of 8:00AM to 10:00AM. Installers are a no call no show. At 10:30 I called the Lees Summit Weber store, was disconnected instead of transferred, called back, same confused man attempted to transfer again. Once I made it toTasha she said she would look into the problem. She didn't call me back and had an installer call me to reschedule. I cannot take more time off work. My complaint is simple. they knew by 7:30 or8:00 today that they wouldn't be installing. I could have gone to work and not missed a day. I have already been charged for the carpet and install. Not one person in sales or management can return my call. The products they sell are average not high end. I was told my item was a "special order" when I told Tasha to cancel my order. We had an extremely positive experience at Weber. Our salesperson Pat made the selection process incredibly easy. He gave us what we needed to know about each carpet and let us take home samples to make sure they were the right fit. The price they quoted was very reasonable. But the best part of the whole thing was the installation. Ricky and his crew were fast and efficient, and above all very professional and courteous. The experience with Weber Joe's has been a disaster. It started off well, but then turned sour. First we were told that we would only need to pay a 30% deposit. Second, this became to pay 100% of order. When I pointed out that we had two different flooring companies in our house did not request 100% until after the order was completed, I was told ALL flooring places request 100% at time of order. Why lie like that? Third, my credit card was over charged. Fourth, I had to cancel card and come back in to charge again because the product number had changed. Fourth, after paying the full price we did not receive the flooring for 3 months. Fifth, the work is only adequate not professional. Sixth and lastly, we had a huge unopen box of material. We were told they would take it back and charge us a 30% restocking charge. When we protested this saying we will mention this in our review, they changed their mind about the restocking charge. We have other flooring to replace but will never us Weber Joe's again. read more

We hired Weber carpet to do a whole house carpet install. When cleaning up carpet pieces left in floor vents upstairs, I noticed that our new carpet was laid over our old pad. Immediately called Weber and they scheduled a tech to come look. There was only one room that had new pad (Kitchen, hallway, two bedrooms and all closets had old padding) I also complained about how much carpet and vinyl we had left over, I was told that normally they don't give money back for that, but since I had a install issue they would. I had approx $400 + overage sitting in my garage. So if you are getting carpet or had carpet installed from Weber check your floor vents and lift up carpet to make sure you get the new pad you paid for! read more

Absolutely do not trust. We have had more than one terrible experiences with Weber Flooring. Unprofessional and sloppy work. They did tile work in my home and it was a disaster. They did flooring in my place of work and it was even worse. Almost 3 years later and the floor looks horrible. Daily I have customers asking what is going wrong with the floor. We have pleaded with Weber Flooring to fix their poor work and they have ignored us. They can not be trusted. read more

I would not recommend this company. They installed the tile in our new home. They had to come back out and replace more than 1/3 of our tile due to them installing chipped, cracked, and broken tile. The grout likes are not even and some tiles weren't even grouted. Now we have lived in our home 6 weeks and our grout is cracking, still have tiles without grout and cracked/broken tiles used. read more

We built our house and Weber was the flooring vendor. We worked with Sammie - if you are looking for someone who never responds to emails or voicemails, they are your go to person. Multiple emails, phone calls etc, the most non-responsive group I have ever worked with. Sammie after weeks has transitioned us to someone else, unfortunately the same experience. Never again! Hmmm, where to start: 1. The 'customer service' is terrible. We had to do a reinstallation because we were not told that the 2 different types of carpet we were purchasing would be 2 different heights, therefore, the seams would not be even. The salesman (and his GM) both said it was not their fault we were not told about this (The GM said it was not the salesman job to tell us about things like this) - so ... we had to pay for all the re-dos (new carpet, 2nd installation). 2. The 2nd installation was awful. Seams in every door and two right in the middle of hallway (which were not on the initial plans we were given, or agreed to) . All noticeable. Had to have a 3rd installer fix the worst seam in one of the bedroom doorways (which even he agreed was terrible - fibers were ripped out during the cut). 3. Unfriendly Customer Service when we called. After we handed over our money, everything seemed to change ... for the worse. 4. Terrible communication. If you don't ask, or don't ask specifically enough, you won't get an answer. Simply put, all the responsibility is on you to know everything, not them to tell you. Oh ... there is one thing they did fast and efficient ... cashed our checks. Never again!!! read more

We had wonderful service through our Weber salesperson, Randy. We installed laminate and carpet throughout our home. Our installer's did and excellent job and were well organized and clean and finished in one day. We used our Costco membership and received a great deal. Our home looks fabulous! Our only con was the person recommended by Weber, who leveled our dining room floor for laminate. A nice and knowledgeable person had time management issues and didn't complete the job during the day and came back very late 10:00 pm and worked until 2:30 am sanding and making loud noises in our neighborhood. Very disappointed with the Weber's experience. Our 3-day flooring project was scheduled to start on a Tuesday. The first day, the installers were a no show. It took 4 calls and several hours to get someone to share that the installers were told the job started on Wednesday. On Thursday we had a snow storm that cancelled most things in KC, so I just assumed they would not show up. A phone call would have been appreciated though. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier so communication with the installers was nearly impossible. I had several questions about how things were being done and left two messages with Weber during the original installation, but no one ever responded. I called Weber the day after the job was "complete", as there were a few issues that needed to be resolved. The man I spoke with indicated I would hear from their installation department the following week. Trying to be patient, I called back 6 days later and found that no ticket had been submitted. It then took 14 phone calls, 3 visits, plus another "no show" before this project was finally complete. It took an entire month to complete a 3-day project. We even ended up doing some final touches ourselves because we were just done with it. There are still some doubts about what they did and whether it is standard practice in the installation process, leaving us hoping that everything holds up in the long run. We will not use Weber for any future projects. Nothing makes you appreciate good customer service more than really bad customer service. read more

We had a great experience with this company. The sales rep, George Walker, was so easy to work with and incredibly patient as we had to delay our plans a few times. Our install team showed up on time, were so courteous and did excellent work. We recarpeted our entire first and second floor and added a patterned carpet to our stairs. The two man team was done in two days. We also appreciated that all of our old carpet was picked up and hauled away right quick. No lingering on the curb for days.
