Logos and branding (especially really early on in a business) are so personal to the people who started the business and I really felt like the suggestions captured my essence! I get so many compliments on our branding and I cannot recommend Chalkbox enough! I sing there praises all the time! Some specifics on my pleasure with the process are: 1. The intake covered all of the specifics I needed and offered Chalkbox a scope to work with 2. The quoted price was reasonable and along the lines of what I expected to pay for the services 3. Engagement documents were sent quickly and were easy to read, understand, and sign 4. I was given a general timeline and the overall time of the project exceeded my expectations 5. I felt known and seen through the process and felt like all options presented were representative of me and my business from my own perspective but with the importance of design in mind 6. All of the discussions from intake to completion were taken into account to provide the final options - including fonts and colors 7. The final product was delivered in the promised timeframe and is so easy to use along with a guidelines pdf to provide when I need to have my logo used. Our lodging establishment has just completed our first year with a Buuteeq website. We always say…read morethat one can praise a company for just about anything but the real proof is in the 'money.' And with Buuteeq, our business increased 100% during this first year. In addition, we were able to pay for a year's subscription in the first month we went live with their product. In the first sixty days of use, our business increased 300% over the same sixty days in the previous year! Would we have believed our salesperson had they made these claims to us when selling their services? The premise that is key to remember here is that their ongoing and consistent development yields internet presence on a level we would not be able to sustain on our own. I appreciate that they have developed business relationships with search engine developers that keep our property in front of the public. Other data points for our site saw positive increases as well: our bounce rate went from 70%+ to 20%+, our time on site went from about 1 minute to almost 5 minutes and the number of pages viewed went from 1+ pages to almost 5 pages! With Buuteeq, it is difficult to argue with the facts of the matter. But, and perhaps most surprisingly, the service Buuteeq employees continue to give us are consistent and ongoing. The service hasn't changed because the front end of the selling cycle is over and the website is up. The help desk is excellent and helped us just this week with a pricing issue; done well and done quickly. Don't forget, the software is so user friendly that we can change pricing, photos, copy and promotions on the fly and it is as easy as writing this review. Finally, Buuteeq is an industry-specific provider. They know lodging. We didn't have to teach them about our business to get the features we wanted for our site. And they knew a few things we needed we didn't know we needed! Until we found them (or they found us), it was difficult getting templates to have a place for all of our data and function. Scratch developers had no idea about how we did our business, what our needs were and were price prohibitive. We are happy to be committed to and in a business relationship with Buuteeq! Buuteeq has outstanding customer support and a very user friendly product…read more Yes, the annual fee for my website seems high, but after doing the math on all the services I was paying for from my previous webs support provider the cost was about the same annual fee. The bonus is that the technology and format is continuously updated to keep up with current trends and guest expectations; thus, I do not have the unexpected expense and time of a complete new website every few years. The support team is outstanding, always happy to help me make the most of my website. I appreciate the changes that have been made to improve the service based on suggestions from the users. Guests continuously comment on how user-friendly and informative my site is; and that is the best comment of all. I build my site for potential guests, providing lots of information about the area as well as details about the inn. In my area it is important that my website catch the eye of the nontraditional B&B guests; Buuteeq helps me to do just that. I did decide to keep my current Guest Management software to process reservations. It connects nicely with my Buuteeq site. Currently Buuteeq offers a nice reservation service, but not the added automatic emails that I rely on from my guest management service. I look forward when I am able to transition over to the full Buuteeq reservation service as well. My favorite features are the ease of uploading and cropping pictures as well as the ease of changing the layout and adding content.
