They are also efficient and knowledgeable. There are some banks I won't do business with because I'm just so tired of the attitude of the people who work there. This bank branch is one that I go out of my way to visit.

Dennis is a retired correction officer who has physical disabilities, and he recently opened an account at this branch based on my recommendation. What followed was an appalling and upsetting experience that's still deeply affecting me. We were told the ATM machine was broken and that we would need to travel to Plainville to get a new card, with only 20 minutes before closing time. I requested an additional $100 due to urgent financial matters related to my day trading, which the teller misinterpreted as suspicious. As a result, Dennis's ATM card was blocked, leaving him unable to access his $8,600 balance for three days. Because of this, Dennis was left with no way to pay for his accommodations and was forced to sleep outside on the night of 2/23/25, without access to any funds. He's been unreachable since then, which is completely out of character for him. After knowing him for 12 years, I'm genuinely terrified that he may have passed away due to this entire ordeal. I do not know if he is alive or dead at this point, and that's a terrifying thought to live with. This could have all been prevented with simple communication and due diligence. The assumption-based decisions made by the bank were careless and reckless. As a long-time customer and someone who's had personal experience with this bank, I can say with certainty that American Eagle does hire employees based on DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives, which is a fact. While I respect diversity, it's clear the lack of experience and professionalism in handling customer service led to disastrous consequences. Dennis's life and well-being were put at risk due to this VERY unprofessional behavior, and I urge everyone to think twice before trusting this bank with their accounts.

On three separate occasions my husband and I went into the bank to complete a simple request, on all 3 attempts we left before anyone had time to help us. Waiting around all day just to process a simple transaction is ridiculous.

The entire process was very easy, thorough, efficient, and smooth. Jonathan was punctual and very well prepared for my arrival at the office. I thought my appointment was going to take an hour or more but it only took 30 minutes, and of those 30 minutes I spent 15 minutes just chatting with Jonathan. I prefer this branch even though its over my town line. They are always very accomodating, no…read morematter what their situation. Today was the last day they were issuing temporary cards: called 1-800 line because I found questionable charges so they stopped the card.When I asked how I would be able to make purchases they said youll receive card in 5-7 business days, but if you want a temporary one youll have to go out to branch & its last day to do so,since they are eliminating this feature at the branches. Glad I picked this one, they took me without having made an appt. The last time something like this happened in the Wolcott branch, Head teller was annoyed that I didn't know I had to make an appointment & told me to go & wait in hallway near door. There was not 1customer in there. I was told I would have to wait bec she was waiting for an appt,& I asked how long would temp card take. She said a few minutes. I said, well given that your scheduled appt is not here can you accomodate? She had this face on like she wanted to roll her eyes but she gave in, however I was very uncomfortable being there. I explained to this branch that I wasnt sure how to make appt, & tictoc, they would be closing soon so I ran over. They said its best to call local branch as opposed to online because its unreliable. So now I know! and my crisis of not being able to go grocery shopping was averted.

Also told me that when I go inside I can transfer funds without having to worry about my transfer limit!! I like this bank bc if you use your debit card 10 X's in a month they do not charge a fee for having savings & checking account with them. Thumbs up Wells Fargo keep bringing in awesome Banking Cashiers.
