After the lunch, each veteran was given Magnolia Gardens auction bucks to bid on items from furniture, clothing, appliances, and miscellaneous items. She made it fun! They had so much fun and seeing the joy on their faces for being invited to this special day for them meant so much! As a volunteer, it meant a lot to my husband and to me. They were continually thanked for their service and we all received many hugs of appreciation when they were leaving. Her auctions are also fun!
