I had a appointment for 11am on DECEMBER 29 I showed up at 10:45 and Melinda Hernadez Senior Service Manager came out and Greeted me and told me she was there by her self and was going to be about 20 minutes late. I said that would be ok. Well after 2 1/2 hours I was still sitting in my car. (this should have been a sign) She then said sorry for the delay I am next. Well I took a chair and she started to fill out her I-pad and another Customer walked in the door asking to get a quote on their car. Now this as I am being helped and three other customers are waiting inside and outside for their scheduled appointment. Instead of asking the new walk-in customer to come back or go online to get a price she dropped what she was doing and proceeded to look up all his details and quote him a price for his Vehicle, Customer was upset with the quote and walked out. (another sign) She then got back to mine and said I will take some pictures and go over the Van to confirm the on-line $23245.00 Price I received for the Van That was about $1500.00 more than the other Online quotes I got. after about 45 Minutes of her Critiquing the Van over looking at the side panels under the truck door jams getting out a ladder checking the roof and many more area's just short of bringing out a Magnifying Glass. She came back in to tell me the Van was in bad shape it has rocker panel damage and Cosmetically did not look good. Offered me $19500 what a joke from the $23500 that the on line offer was. Now this Van only has 40600 mile on it for a three and 1/2 year old van Mercedes Metris Van Great shape Service kept up on brakes, tires, Oil changes the works. It was never in a Accident or run over anything to damage a rocker panel being so high off the ground. The Service Manager was a joke! do not know how they are paid but I wouldn't doubt it if they are paid extra for low balling customers to get a better Commission. Bottom line is be aware of We buy any car in Allentown, Its not worth the trip. This place is ok if you want to sell your car, but SELLER BE WARE!! The price they show on the website is IF the car is in SHOWROOM condition. I took an older car in and it said $650.00 and only got $150.00 for it. They take the transfer title charge from the state off the amount they give you ($99.00). The sales person covers everything very well and I walked out with a check that day. I'd do it again if I was desperate! read more
