I called 8x and someone picks up & hangs up (Today 8/31/24) I don't want to hear they had phone issues because that was the same excuse they gave me previously 2x before. Update to my first review. I took my car in for inspection as it's free for the life of my car and they charged my card $200 when the customer service representative told me I needed to pay $42 for a light bulb. I didn't authorize 200!! Because of my work schedule. I had to drop my car off the night before and pick it up after they close so I didn't get to speak to anybody personally and of course when I call nobody ever answers. This place is HORRIBLE. Dropped car off to have key fob repaired/replaced, Had an appt for 8am but do to a situation dropped car off at 645am didn't get any calls at all, around 12:30 ish i call and speak to a lady at the service dept to get status of car, lady's says she will relay info and have the service person get back to me. 4:30 still nothing, so i call to leave a VM that if car wasn't checked to not touch it, i will be there to get it and find another dealer to fix the issue. I had to make 4 phone calls to schedule for a state inspection. I showed up 15 minutes early for a service appointment that should take 30 minutes. 3 hours later I check at the desk and they have not even taken it back yet. There is no point in "scheduling here". I asked why nobody called me or simply mentioned they lack staff. "We never call people or we would be on the phone all day." Avoid this place. They simply can't do the easy stuff. read more

Stopped into Rothrock parts department to get pricing on some Nissan parts. When I got home, I wanted to compare the prices to other Nissan dealerships. I called 2 additional Nissan dealerships for prices using the exact same part numbers. The other 2 dealerships were 25% lower in price. Additionally, the other 2 dealerships had the exact same prices as each other for all 6 parts. Seems like Rothrock adds an extra 25% to their prices. Needless to say, I'll be getting parts from one of the other dealerships instead. So if you're in need of OEM parts, don't buy them from Rothrock unless you have no other choice. read more

Took my Nissan Maxima (still under warranty) in for service because of a brake light that kept coming on. They charged me $55 for the diagnosis (which was incorrect, as I also took it to my regular mechanic who told me I had another 25-30,000 more miles left on the pads). Rothrock also wanted to charge me another $400 to replace the rotors and pads! Due to a recall they did replace the ABS system, which corrected the brake light malfunction. Did you know the garage repairmen actually get commission off of the "extra" work they recommend and charge you for? Be careful you are not scammed into additional services that are unnecessary. read more

Unfortunately, my original post was made on their reviews page of their Facebook & I see they've deleted it (along with other negative reviews). So I no longer remember specific names. I bought my car from them in 2017. Two of their sales"men" were making fun of my father for his style as I walked in ahead of him. Had I not spent 2 years searching for my car, I'd have swiftly turned around and left. The individual working in the finance department was incredibly rude when I asked any questions. I had also not yet been given the opportunity for a test drive. When he heard I needed to do that before signing paperwork he made several, loud, heavy sighs, and look visibly agitated by the fact I wanted to test drive a $25,000 car before purchasing. After this experience I received some type of after purchase courtesy call or letter (I can't remember now), that had a completely different name on it. If you're going to cut and past a customers name, might I suggest you double check it's correct! I wouldn't even return to this dealership for free services. Imagine sitting at another dealership about to trade in a vehicle that you bought NEW (demo with 8k miles and we are listed as original owners) @Rothrock only to be told that your trade would be less because of the moderate damage from an accident that appeared on carfax. We were shocked because we were never in an accident. After looking at the carfax report, we discovered that the accident happened 9 months before we purchased the vehicle!! This information was not disclosed to us. NOTE: We purchased 3 of our vehicles from Rothrock and had intended to purchase this new vehicle from them but they did not have a vehicle to match our needs. At this point I wish there was a zero stars... Own a 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie GT with 10,000 miles... 2 weeks ago began having computer problems - air bag service needed. Called to set up a service date and they couldn't schedule me until Feb 20th. The next day the battery was dead. Called to get in quicker and get a loaner for the appt as I am a biz owner and require a vehicle all the time. I was promised a phone call back in regard to the new appt date and loaner. No return call... 3 messages left, no return call. I have an $80k useless vehicle in my driveway for 2 weeks. Today, when I call to again try to get it in - I'm not only told that they still can't get me in until the 20th, but I also couldn't get a loaner because it was electrical issue. My vehicle was just inspected 7 weeks ago and had all that 100 point inspection done, along with the annual inspection and emissions.  When it wouldn't start the other day I had it towed back. Supposedly the battery cables were corroded.  In just 7 weeks? They also did another 100 point inspection and claim that now I need almost $3000 in maintenance work. What?? Among other things,, they changed my oil and didn't even put a new oil change sticker on. I bought a maintenance plan when I bought my truck from Rothrock.  Doesn't it cover any of this???? I have had the truck back 4 times to fix the hood release.  It's still not fixed. I had my car towed twice, the place was to Rothrock dearlership. Your company don't take kindly to out of state people. My car has been seating a week. I get the run around on the phone,people give they word to return my calls, to tell whats going on with my car. Collen she was one ,giving me her word, on the condition of my car, third day they tell me she won't be back until Monday. So all the calls I make is either peoplle cars are towed by appointment, My dodge was towed tuesday morning. l call back on a update, on the car. They sold me a car (that they overpriced to begin with) that didn't work. The remote start didn't work from the minute I drive it off the lot. The salesman told me I should just "try it at home." I had to go so I agreed, but of course, it still didn't work when I got home. I go in to get it serviced and sit there for THREE HOURS just to be told they'll have to order a part and that I should come in the following week. On the day I'm supposed to come in (I have rearranged my work schedule for all of this) they call and tell me that they didn't order the part. I'm confused as they told me they'd order it a week ago to which I'm told "well I guess Nissan cancelled the order...". Did they...not know this until day-of or did they just wait to tell me? Apparently their "engineers" are on it because they don't think the part they said I needed was the real problem. I need the car as I'm traveling and now have no estimate of when they can fix their issues. I've wasted time, money, and gas getting to and from and still have a car that doesn't work. I've been there four times so far to service my Nissan and I experienced great customer service, kind staff, clean and comfortable waiting area. The only disappointment I have is that they used to offer a shuttle service to take you back home if it was a long wait but they did away with the service which at times it's a very big inconvenience, I hope they implement it back into their service so it wouldn't drive customers into going somewhere else. read more

Edit- second review I was called in Friday by Bryan. He was extremely polite and he was looking to make it right. Within 2 hours I had my device working properly. He also gave me his cell phone number for any issues I had in the future. My intent was not to get anything free , I just wanted the traffic back on my radio so after a few disappointments on there end I feel they deserved the one. But remember 1- buying the car was a great experience I relish the haggle sometimes. 2- the service department did a fantastic job every time I've brought it in. 3- Bryan (sp) had called me and made it right. So now IMO ( they never asked me to bump up more score ) I'm giving them 4 stars. It could be 5 after I buy my next car from them. Dave was my sales person and Bryan was the manager ( or next level salesman). We hassled over price and I eventually got the price I wanted all was well. We have used their services for oil changes and recalls and that has been extremely nice. Here is where things go bad and for me it makes it real bad. 1- when I went to have the tires rotated the service tech mentioned the car did not gave a key for the licked lug nuts. Ok no big deal give Dave a call he takes my number never calls back. Call him again mention about the no call back he apologies takes my number and again never calls back. So I call back the following week and speak to Bryan the sales manager would be my guess. I told him about the lugs he was nice but had me come into Rothrock so they could inspect my car to make sure it was indeed missing. I drove there and he searched the car then pulled out the bag with the 4 lugs that were removed and saw that the key for the lock was indeed missing. He took the bag asked me for my name and number (since Dave had left) and said I would get a call. Well two weeks go by and no call. So since the inspection was due (now 2 months in ) I decide to see if service would help and sure enough they did. It was actually no big deal. Why either guy just didn't transfer be To service was beyond my thought process and I guess theirs as well 2- I had the car for a year and the Xm radio and traffic stopped working. I knew the XM would go away it was only a -year trial run. But the traffic is good for 5 years. I called XM and they said there was no membership under my name and I would have to call the dealer So I called and Dave was not Im so I called Bryan. This guy picks up on the first ring just to tell me how busy he is. I explain quickly that the paperwork and online info says 8.1 inch systems get 5 free years of traffic. He says he's busy but takes my number and says he will call me back. As I write this it's been 3 + weeks and no call back Again wouldn't even direct me to whoever it was I should speak to. Look I'm sorry but selling the car is the first step. You want repeat business you treat your customers with respect you HELP them when they call you with issues. Maybe it's not your department but you guide them to the right one. This place is all about selling the car they could care less if you come back. Forgot to review this place when I was shopping for my first car years ago. Main point: SHOP ELSEWHERE. We were immediately approached by a salesperson and explained our price limit and what I was looking for to which he literally scoffed and showed us the crappiest cars in the lot saying "this is what you can afford". When I reminded him our limit was $10,000 (in cash mind you!) and not $2000 he began showing us cars priced at $15,000. The first car had stained interior and peeling paint all over the dash. We discussed them fixing these issues and expected him to negotiate a price. He went to the "boss" and basically told us they would not lower the price. We promptly left! Well, it hadn't rained for two days...and there was still rust on the rotors. WTF. Took my 15 Challenger in for an oil change and to have them look at my hood that is mis aligned. The service person agreed that the hood was not aligned and said they would "look at it". Picked up my car later in the day and saw the hood was not fixed. Invoice stated that I had to call the body shop for an appointment. I paid the invoice and went to the service advisor who told me to call the body shop myself. Not my idea of good service. My car is under warranty and why should I have to call their body shop.....I want my car fixed when I bring it in ....I don't appreciate the runaround. Update....moved to Northern Bucks and my new servicing dealer Sands Brothers is fixing my hood under warranty and even gave me a loaner for FREE. Worst service department ever. My girlfriend's engine light came on and this was the closest dealership to us. Scheduled an appointment for 6 p.m., brought car in at 4 to drop it off. Was informed that all of their technicians left for the day (why schedule us for an appointment then?). They would instead do the diagnostic at 7:30 a.m. and they'd call us at 10:30 a.m. The next day - no call. We called them and left a message to update us. At 1:30 p.m. - still no call back. We called again, no one answered and left yet another message. At 4:30 p.m. still no call. We had to show up in person to confront them and get them to release the car to us. Okay so my lease is up soon. I called Roth rock and told them I had everything ready to buy the car out I just needed a final invoice from them so that I can supply this to the financial institution that was going to take care of my buy out. I got my invoice in a matter of days, I did what I had to do and got my check ready to pay off this car. This was the beginning of April, I called the leasing bank to let them know I was buying out the car and to extend my lease payment due date 30 days to give me ample time to get the check to them just to be safe. I then email the account receivable gentlemen the same one that supplied me with the invoice so that we can set up a time for me to give him my check and I can sign the papers to own the car. After over a month of several calls, emails, even text and back and fourth with secretaries, managers and employees I finally got ahold of the guy and we set up an appointment. I get there and I give him two checks, one went through the other one didn't I call my bank everything is good the check should go through he starts taking care of another customer and hands me a post it with a number and tells me to call the people that Rothrock deals with for checks and figure out why my check is not going through I call them and they tell me something is wrong with the system they can not accept the check. At this point it's been over a month my credit has been dinged because now I have a late payment on my lease. I say fine I will give you cash, but this is Ridiculous you do not care about your customers and how your miscommunication and lack of timeliness impacts them. This man tells me if you are dissatisfied you can go somewhere else! I do not care I am trying to help you!? Mind you I have been paying this car for three years I have already given you a check up front to buy it out and now you want me to go somewhere else!? At this point I'm in tears I go to my bank and have my husband pay the guy. This guy tells my husband I'm sorry I have a wife I don't want no one talking to her like that and my husband was so offeTwo weeks later I call the leasing company to see if they received the check they did not! I call Roth rock to ask why the check has not reached the bank the controller picks up and this lady has a horrible attitude I couldn't even get a word in and she puts me on hold and I'm like are you effing kidding me the lady then picks up the phone and said I have a check here going out overnight but I heard what you said and I don't appreciate that at this point I'm loosing my mind I just apologized to her told her about my experience and asked if she could please just mail the check!! She said she would mail it and that she would speak with the higher ups about my experience... no one ever reached out... please save yourself the hassle! Save yourself the poor customer service! I normally don't have issues with the service, but my car is due. I've been taking advantage of their "Express Lane Service" - no appointment needed, available until 6pm. So after dealing with the Route 22 traffic one afternoon at around 4:00, I'm told all their technicians have jobs that will take then to the rest of the day. Sorry, TRY again tomorrow. I didn't bother to call for an appointment because the last time I did, they told me no appointment is needed for basic maintenance service. I had two firsts today. The longest and most expensive oil change. Had an appointment for 1 today. They took it at almost 1 on the nose. At 40 minutes I was beginning to wonder what was taking so long. At an hour I was antsy and wanting to leave. I asked the service guy how much longer it was going to be. He said I just saw it on the lift. Shouldn't be long. At an hour 10 minutes my car was pulled into the waiting area. At an hour twenty minutes , I got the bill for $85. For an oil change. Not exactly a Express Oil change when It takes an hour and a half. I cannot recommend Rothrock for "Express" service. read more

I have a long list of complaints, but most importantly: they took a $3000 down payment, the deal did not go through, and it took me 3 weeks and a lot of frustration to get my money back. Their service recovery sucks. They had sent the check in the mail, but I moved the week after the botched sale and never received it. Multiple phone calls to multiple departments, many voicemails left, no calls returned. Although I received multiple calls from salesman trying to sell me on different cars, claiming absolute ignorance about my check. 3 weeks after my first encounter, I physically went into the showroom and said I wasn't leaving until I was guaranteed my $3000 check. Still had to stand there while the salesman who first approached me and heard my complaint ran around to multiple managers and attempted to get someone to help me. I actually watched him explain my situation to the sales manager 50 feet away from me, and heard the sales manager say "that sucks" and walk off singing. Would recommend you avoid this place at all costs. On top of this debacle, the original sale was less than pleasant. They refused to give me a price on the first car they showed us, had us test drive it, then sit at the desk and wait for 20 minutes, and came back with a price 1.5x above our budget. The 2nd car they had us test drive while another couple were in the midst of working out a deal for it, they just used our interest for leverage on that couple. The third car was the one we put a down payment on, but it still needed to go through their shop - when we returned two days later they jacked the price up, which is why we did not finish the deal. read more

December, 2019 - My husband was in Rothrock last week and was given a price for a truck from Tyler and had a great customer service experience. We could get the same truck in the color we actually wanted at a different dealer for the price Tyler quoted. We wanted to deal with Rothrock and decided the color was not that much of a priority. We had our check from our credit union but the amount was not enough. We went back to our credit union & got the correct amount & resigned the paperwork & came back on Saturday evening. Since our credit union is pretty far away, it was close to closing time. We did not need to test drive or take up much of anyone's time, just there to do the deal. What a different experience Saturday night. First upon walking in, we were told they could not find the truck or the keys. because it just arrived. My husband said "I test drove it within the last week." Then, the truck & keys were located pretty quickly. The gentlemen we were working with were different because our salesmen from a a few days ago was not in. They gave us a price of $5,000.00 higher than Tyler and would not come down. The whole experience Saturday night was totally unprofessional and I do not think the owner of Rothrock would have approved. We were ready to buy a truck with a check for the amount based on what we were already told which was approved by the next level up, not just Tyler! What a waste of our time. Purchased A 2011 Chevy Silverado from Rothrock last week. I was told the truck was inspected, serviced and "ready to roll". Not the case at all. After-market K&N air was black (supposed to be red) and hadn't been serviced in years. Oil was dirty and had definetely not (just been changed). Tires looked o.k., at first, only to find they are dry rotted and unsafe. That's what I know so far. Exhaust has a leak also, I'm having it looked at next week. Avoid these liars! Our SUV was bought from RothRock and we got great service & a great price on it. I'm a haggler by nature but I prefer to call it negotiating because I am a business person after all. We managed to talk it down a bit more because it was the last one left/show model. And because RothRock gives you a free carwash with your oil change, and every 5th or 6th oil change is free, we then stayed with them for every maintenance issue with the SUV (which wasn't much because it was a new vehicle). Service is always fast and friendly, and whenever there was something unexpected they always consult you first and inform you of all the options. The waiting lounge has free wifi and they now have a flavia machine. The chairs there can definitely use an overhaul, or get reupholstered at the very least but overall not to bad. And they check everything too when doing an oil change: tires, battery, horn, wipers, lights, etc... read more

I went to the dealership this past Saturday asking to see this vehicle. I was told that they had nothing for less than $10.000.00. Typical "bait and switch" situation. If I could I wouldn't give any stars...got my Jeep from Rothrock and had no issues. However this summer I traded my Infiniti for a Maxima and had the absolute worst experience. It all started when we realized we didn't receive the bill for our second month (you pay the first at signing). We called Nissan and they said they had no record of us trading in our Infiniti. After contacting Rothrock several times and going into the dealership we finally found out that they needed our signature for one item that should have been done the day we got our new car. Now, almost 3 months later I get a notice about a drop in my credit score for failure to pay my Infiniti note (which I don't have!!) also never received my registration! 3 months later I have exactly 6 business days before our temporary registration is up and nothing has come in the mail. This is super frustrating and makes for a horrible overall experience especially when I was also trying to close on a house... now my credit score has dropped almost 30 points and all because of paperwork not being taken care of in a timely manner. I plan on taking matters into my own hands as I've reported this to the BBB and will be seeking further legal action as this not just a matter of paperwork not being handed in on time but it is now causing a ripple effect in other areas of my life. read more

Had several phone conversations with Jill before going and she was extreamly helpful and gave me accurate information. When we got there they had all the details pulled up and the car ready for me to look at. Worked with Bobby V all day. He was an experienced, professional, and NICE car salesman. Offered to get us pizza for lunch because we ended up there most of the day! Such a nice guy- never felt pressured. I found the car I wanted, the deal I came for, and some very nice employees.
