Everything was OK untill I said I am not thrilled with their offer and need to think about it. Then Oh, Lord! I was exposed to the worst used car salesman tricks. I was pressured to take the deal right away because it was valid only for the next 2 minutes, and in no way in an hour. I was lectured, told I am stupid and don't know anything about financing and cars, that was the rudest and most obnoxious used car salesmen I ever met . And guess what : there was a reason they didn't want me go and check the price somewhere else: withing 5 minutes at the next dealership I was offered $1,000 more and absolutely no aggravation! I brought in a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited in very nice condition. It had about 168,000 miles on it, but had always been well-maintained. The exterior also looked great for a vehicle of this age, & everything WORKED, including all power options like the moon roof, AC, power windows, etc. Earlier, based on my honest answers to their questions, I was offered over $3300 for this vehicle. The rep went over my car like he was preparing to purchase a Lamborghini! Even after informing him that I was the only owner of this vehicle, & also that it had NEVER been involved in an accident or had any exterior repairs, he told me that his "paint reader" device seemed to indicate that I was being less than truthful, which I thought was very offensive.
