Today, Jose's colleague, Dennis, responded to my home and I was immediately met with a friendly face and a great attitude, and soon after Dennis got to work. Dennis cleaned each of my windows, the screens, and my two sliding glass doors. Once completed my windows and the frames looked so much better, my only regret was not contacting them prior to today! I will also admit that my roof was VERY dirty... I had told Elisha that I needed this roof cleaning to pass a city inspection. Elisha shows up, does his thing, and all seemed well. I thanked him and paid him. Then the city came out and failed the cleaning. I messaged Elisha the same day and he said not to worry, the city can be hard like that, but he'd make it right and come back out to go over some spots again and make sure I passed. Elisha did just that! He came back, recleaned, and made everything look extra sparkly. The picky city compliance officer passed the inspection and said it looked great. My experience working with Richard Espinoza has been extremely disappointing and has resulted in significant additional expense, frustration, and work that now needs to be corrected. Richard initially presented himself as highly experienced and knowledgeable. He spoke confidently about the work, showed numerous photographs of prior projects, discussed guaranteeing the project, and requested a deposit. Unfortunately, my experience after hiring him was very different from what was represented at the beginning. Communication and reliability became major problems. There were repeated occasions when I was told he would be coming to work and he did not show up. Work was repeatedly delayed, sometimes attributed to weather or personal circumstances, and communication regarding those delays was inadequate. At times, after periods without progress, I would receive a message saying he was coming the following day, only for him not to appear. As the project continued, I was also repeatedly asked for additional money for materials and other project expenses. Many of the way beyond the cost.. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution prospective customers against making any advance payments without carefully documenting exactly what is being purchased, what work will be performed, and when it will be completed. Most concerning is the quality of the completed work. I have now had other professionals evaluate portions of the work, and I am facing the prospect of having substantial work on my property redone. This is particularly upsetting because I paid thousands of dollars expecting professional-quality results. Attempts to resolve these issues have also been frustrating. Phone calls have gone unanswered, updates have been inconsistent, and I have not experienced the level of professionalism or accountability that I believe a customer should reasonably expect from a contractor. I gave Richard multiple opportunities to complete and address the work. At this point, I intend to pursue the matter through the appropriate channels until it is resolved. Based solely on my personal experience, I absolutely would not hire Richard Espinoza or this company again, and I cannot recommend them to others.
