I had a terrific experience purchasing my dress from the Wedding Tree! Kayla was fantastic- she made the whole experience pretty simple. I was there to try on dresses for the first time ever, plus I had flown in from Florida (where I live), plus it was my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary, so there was quite a bit of emotion and pressure on the day and she navigated it very well. At one point I loved one dress and all the members of my party loved another and she was really good about helping us sort through all that & figure out what would work best for me. One thing I would say is other bridal stores did offer to ship my dress to me in Florida, where the Wedding Tree needs mine picked up by someone (my sister) and then she has to ship it to me. Not the worst thing but the confidence of knowing whoever is shipping it to me knows how to professionally pack and ship a dress would have been better to ease my mind. read more

I had an awesome experience at The Wedding Tree. Many dream of this day, shopping for their special dress. I feel like The Wedding Tree staff get that and make it fun and special for you and those shopping with you. I was able to find my dream dress with Mel. I never felt pressured or pushed and she was willing to pull all the dresses until I found the one. I didn't even have to ask, I was able to tell her things I liked and didn't like about dresses and she helped me pin down exactly what I was asking for. I wound up going with a completely different style than I originally thought I would like. I hadn't tried on dresses like that before, you don't always know until you try them on. I had fun and they made it a special day with my family and Maid Of Honor. Lots of selection, give them a try. Ask for Mel as your stylist. read more

The day off our prom dress shopping experience, the shopper we had was easily distracted and often found wandering off and found talking to other co-workers. If that was it, I would have left it at that. My daughter's dress for perfectly so we had no reason for alterations or to take it out of the dress bag until prom day. On her big day, we got hair and make up done and finally the dress. Ten minutes later, my husband and I left to meet her for pictures with her class. She arrived behind us, having work the dress for a total of 20 minutes at this time, and when she arrived both sleeves on the dress had ripped out at the sleeves. She said she got in her car and both arms ripped. We took photos and I immediately reached out to the Wedding Tree. Their responses were nothing but fake condolences and you could tell my their answers they weren't even paying attention to what actually happened. Saying things like, (to summarize) " had we known in advance we could have fixed it it compensated you to get it fixed"...... Umm, did you get that it just happened????? After I contacted them on a Saturday, then responding to me on a Sunday, and finally saying they were going to reach out to the manufacturer, they finally said to me today, a Monday, sorry but you bought the dress As-Is and we're not going to be doing anything for you now that the event is over. Almost $500 for a dress to not last 15 minutes and there's nothing that can be done? I had a very unpleasant experience at the Wedding Tree compared to other bridal stores I visited. I was really excited to go to this store because they carried designers I was looking for. When I arrived, I met with the bridal attendant, and we discussed the types of dresses I was interested in. We browsed the racks together, and picked 10 dresses to try. The first dress I tried on fit well, but was not what I was looking for. The second dress didn't fit. It was a size 4. The attendant explained that they only carry one size per style of dress. The remaining 9 dresses that we pulled were all a size 4. She did not have any other lace dresses that were around my size.This was pretty dissatisfying, but I somewhat understood not having a large selection since it is a smaller store. What was really disappointing was what the attendant said to me. "With girls your size (I'm a size 10), we just have to hold the dress in front of you. If you like it, than we can order your size)." She said it with a mean, degrading tone. I explained that I would not purchase a dress without trying it on. After this comment, I politely ended the appointment. No bride, no matter her size, should be made to feel embarrassed about her body while shopping for a dress for such a special occasion. I was completely disappointed in the way I was treated by the bridal attendant. As a bridal establishment, you should make it clear that you don't carry more than one size per style. I traveled from a different state for this appointment only to try on one dress and be humiliated by a bridal attendant. read more

I had an okay experience here. My consultant was a bit strange and off-putting. She kept telling us that people were stealing things from the store (the wood pedestal you stand on when trying on dresses, flowers from the fake bouquets) which didn't give me a lot of confidence in buying and potentially storing my dress here. The selection of dresses was good, although they could use more plus sizes. The dressing area was big enough, but the privacy left something to be desired as there was only a sheer curtain drawn across the doorway. I guess I felt I had better experiences at other stores and found more dresses that suited my style elsewhere. read more

I contacted The Wedding Tree for an appointment to try on bridal gowns and their communication was amazing!! Their customer service was more than I had dreamt of. Jennifer assisted me with the dresses and the 3rd one I tried on was the one!! She had been wishing for someone to fit this dress for a few months and I was it!! I tried on a few more but went back to that one and it was perfect!! She was very king and we had a lot of fun as a group. We had a great experience and we are thankful for such a great experience. My consultant was rude and a bit pushy. They had a lot of nice dresses but the shopping experience was awkward and unpleasant so I ended up leaving my appointment early. I didn't find a dress I wanted and planned on going back and trying again but ended up cancelling my next appointment. I want my shopping experience to be fun and not feel like I'm being bossed around and have someone act like they know what I like better than I do! read more

I had a great experience picking out my wedding dress at the Wedding Tree. I shopped in both the regular dress area and the Upstairs Couture. They worked hard to show me things that I would like and we had a really fun experience. They also didn't act annoyed when I was indecisive. I felt like I was the only bride there. We also purchased our bridesmaids, mothers dresses, flower girl dresses, and tuxedos from the wedding tree. The selection was great for all of these things. The mothers had a lot of fun with the selection at the wedding tree. Many dresses to try. The wedding planning experience wouldn't have been the same for me without the help and service that the Wedding Tree offered. I would highly recommend them! read more

I was so excited to go dress shopping for my wedding & was so disappointed in my experience at the Wedding Tree. The consultant was not helpful, but tried rushing us through the whole appointment. I tried on dresses for maybe 20 minutes & then the consultant left us, without any explanation. I wasn't sure what to do so my friend helped me try on a dress or two more & then we ended up leaving. read more

I recently went to The Wedding Tree in search of my wedding dress. This was my first stop in the search, so I was a little nervous to start trying on dresses, but it was a great experience! The store has a great variety and selection of dresses including "couture" dresses upstairs. The "viewing area" with mirrors and couches was very comfortable for my mom, future MIL and grandma who all came with me. I worked with Kacia, and she made me feel so relaxed and helped me enjoy the process of trying on dresses! There was no pressure at all to purchase right then and there. I have good and bad things to say about Wedding Tree. I shopped for my wedding dress there and I LOVED the 2 ladies that I worked with. I was going to buy my dress there but I would have had to have bought off rack and the dress wasn't my size so would have had to have ALOT of alterations and would have cost alot of money. I ended up buying dress at another store. But i ordered the brides maid dresses from Wedding Tree. First problem we ran into were the sizes that were ordered for alot all of my 9 bridesmaids were too small when they came to store. Therefore resulting in the dresses needing alterations which was fine. And the dresses had a train for needed 1 french bustle added to each dress. But when the dresses came back from the seamstress they werent good.... The bustles were very had to find and mange and by the time of the wedding every dress had the buslte break and we had to sew them. The dresses were wrinkled even though they were "steamed". We were offered to have them re-steamed but at an extra charge. But to top it off almost all the dresses had the inner zippers break. That wasn't that big of a deal cause all the inner zipper did was add extra support. My ushertte had her zipper on the dress break 3 times before the wedding and she took back every time to get fixed and she got lots of hassle about it from seamstress. She was told it was fixed. BUT day of wedding it broke. Her and my 2 personal attendents missed like all the pictures because she had to be sewed into her dress!! She called Wedding Tree and got no resolution to this. I am NOT happy with the seamstress there! I would recomend that if you bought your dress from wedding tree to go somewhere else to have altered!!! Also my cousin bought a prom dress from them. She had to have alerations done... Day of prom her dress broke in front a group of her peers. She had to be sewed into her dress as well. read more

I was very happy with the turn around time on a bridesmaid dress I ordered. I, being my usual slow-pokey self, waited almost too long to stop in and find a bridesmaid dress. But I was able to find a style I liked at the store and in the color I needed. I did have to pay rush shipping, but it was guaranteed to be in on time. I told it'd be in by the end of July or beginning of August. Then when I checked in with them in the beginning of July, they told me it was scheduled to arrive between July 15-July 30. Today is July 14 and the dress is in! One day sooner! I appreciate the efforts to get it here on time for the wedding I'm in! The staff I worked with in the store, talked to on the phone, and emailed with were all very friendly and helpful! read more

This was my first wedding dress shopping experience. I had quite a low budget ($500) - but the consultant worked hard to find the dress I wanted. They had a ton of dresses under $1000 - both for order and off the rack. I was glad to see white dresses -this was a problem at a different store. The consultant was super fast at helping me into the gowns and I felt really comfortable with her. I wasn't ready to commit - after all it was my first time! - so the consultant said she'd save the dress for me until 5 p.m. (since it was an off the rack gown). She was so right. I came back at 4:30 to purchase the gown - it was the one. The gown had absolutely everything I wanted - I only would have to make some small changes to the skirt to make it perfect. It was a little over my budget at $720 - but I felt like the sales people at the Wedding Tree do work hard to respect budgets and find the perfect dress. Since it was the day after thanksgiving I was given half off ballet slippers too! read more

Terrible. I cant imagine how a business can stay open with employees who are so unapologetic and apathetic about their own mistakes. My bride came in 3 days before our wedding to pick up her $150 veil only to find out that the wrong one was ordered. Instead of doing what they can to fix it right away, they suggested (to the bride mind you) that her veil she spent $150 on was not a big deal and they would simply find one off the rack (at which point they presented her with a white veil for her ivory wedding dress). When the staff was informed that we wanted the veil we purchased, they reluctantly agreed to call the manufacturer and have it overnighted but made sure we were aware that sometimes overnight doesn't mean overnight and not to be surprised if it doesn't show up the following day. Furthermore, when my groomsmen and myself went in to try on/pick up our tuxes more mistakes emerged. My (the groom) whos neck measures 16" was given a shirt w/ an 18" neck. The best man whos neck measures 18" was given a 15" neck (we swapped and I gutted it out for the ceremony). Another groomsman was issued pants that missed the tops of his shoes by a good 4" and yet another was given shoes that were 2 sizes too big. We left the tuxes that needed alterations there for the night to be picked up the following morning, which we were told could, in no way, shape or form, be picked up prior to 10am even though we needed to be dressed and ready at the church by 10:30. For some reason, they were completely unable to bend this rule and let us get them at 9:30. Upon picking the tuxes up the following morning (at 10 sharp) we all went to the church to change only to discover that the one groomsman whos initial shoes were 2 sizes too big were, still, 2 sizes too big. As well, my (the groom) pants needed to be let down a mere 2" and this mark was met ... on the left leg only. The right leg was let down 6". Thankfully we had safety pins on hand at the church. This was an awful experience from beginning to end. The staff was horrible and rude but still, the most surprising part was their apathy about the entire situation. They did not care about the mistakes they made and moreso, did not care about fixing them when they were discovered. Men, in the future, go w/ Men's Warehouse. At least there you get the option of getting your tux rental free or a free suit. After this S#!t-show, a free suit would have made me feel better. read more
