Wee care used to be somewhere I was ready to go to work. That feeling only last a short time. While I loved working with the kids, the owner and other head staff was not only neglectful to the children and their need, but the teachers and what they need as well. Classrooms go without necessities on a regular basis and it's very difficult to run a classroom that way. I do not recommend anyone take their children there or be employed by them. read more

Don't normally write reviews, but as a parent I feel the responsibility to warn others. Today was first day of school. I paid Wee Care for after school care for both my daughters because my wife was started college today and I work overseas. After school care seemed to be the best solution. My wife coordinated carefully, getting face-to-face confirmation that Wee Care would pick both my daughters up from school. In fact, she specifically mentioned that they would have to step inside the Head Start building to sign for our youngest and she was told that would not be a problem. My wife got out of class and received a voicemail from Head Start saying that our youngest was still there and nobody had picked her up. IT WAS 4PM!. My wife frantically zipped through traffic to pick her up from school. Then she hurried to Wee Care to see if they had our oldest daughter who started Kindergarten today. To her relief she was there, but she was nearly begging for water and nobody would give her any water. Our oldest daughter was begging for some water and Wee Care staff could not provide her with any. Too all this they had excuses. My wife asked to speak with the director of the center. The Director got defensive and said that nobody brought the girl out to the bus when they showed up at the school. It was obvious that coordination was lacking. Instead of understanding a mother's frustration and horror at the idea that she had one girl left at school and another begging for water, the Director got defensive and defended the center's negligence. Now we are scrambling to find a different solution before Wednesday. When my wife asked if they would refund what we've paid she was told they don't make any refunds, but that in her case they might make an exception. They were rude, negligent, and hurtful. I do realize that others may have had a different experience, but I wouldn't feel right not sharing our negative experience because it could happen to others as well. *UPDATE We discovered today that Wee Care staff never asked school staff for our daughter. Yesterday, when this happened, Wee Care staff lied to my wife saying they attempted to pick her up but were denied because they weren't authorized to sign for her. The only apology we received was from the school principal for not knowing that Wee Care requires school staff to bring the kids to the bus. Other services don't work like that. If I could give Wee Care a -5 star rating I would. read more
