Our Villa needed special attention in the sink/dish washer area of our home on a Sunday!! I was able to easily go on line and book an early appointment. Monday morning, I got a call from Parobek Plumbing, who assured me that although they were booked solid, they would do their best to send one of their experienced technicians. Within several hours Waylon was on his way to give us a true inspection of issues. He gave us three different options to meet our needs and as soon as we gave the green light, he was working as fast and efficient as possible. Parobek told us we needed a new unit. Wanted to sell us one for $11,000. We couldn't afford that, so we contacted Jim's Heating and Air here in Giddings. They were referred by a neighbor. When the guy got here, he first had to clean up the mess made by Parobek. Then he told us there was nothing at all wrong with our outside unit. Jack Johnson came out today to provide service for my ac. He arrived promptly and analyzed my ac system to identify any issues and ensure my ac was working properly. I had an issue in the past with draining problems and was concerned about this issue. He explained everything to me about the results of his tests, and also informed me about any issues that might crop up in the future so I could be prepared for those . He also gave me advice on how I might save some money on future repairs and seasonal inspections through Parobek's maintenance plan. I've a preferred customer of Parobek for many years and have had thousands of dollars on the their services. I have noticed over the years the service has been getting more expensive but I've always been a person to spend money on quality. However, the quality of their services has dropped and I had them come back to repair their own work after technicians confirmed it had not been done correctly. This most recent visit from Parobek will be the last. The technician ,of course, found things that needed to be replaced because you can never have a clean bill of health when they come out. It's kind of funny how there's always something to be replaced when all the work is done by Parobek. This technician had no problems trying to sell me on a $3000 repair to my HVAC which is running just fine. I had asked him at what point do we consider just putting in a new HVAC system? Instead of capitalizing on this idea, he insulted me by stating that my Trane AC unit was a cheap unit and just a basic model. This made me feel like I was foolish for having it, and insulting the Trane brand at the same time. I can no longer trust Parobek and for that reason Parobek will no longer be allowed in my house. If you are considering Parobek for any of their services, please consider other options. Please do your research. I know there are more reviews like mine. read more

There's no worse feeling than water backing up in your home late at night. I used Parobek's online service at 10:30 pm to get started on booking an appointment. Mason came out at 8:00 am, and ran a camera down the line. He was able to tell what the problem was within a few minutes. The line that was blocked actually belonged to the city. A city worker came out and Mason advocated on our behalf that the clog was in the city's line. The city crew cleared the blockage in no time, so we're thankful to them as well. Bait and switch, over priced. We went without water all weekend and called Parobek to get an estimate, I was quoted $75.00 over the phone for an estimate, when the technician finally came out late that day, he said no the the estimate cost was 3 time the price quoted, it was $225.00 to get an estimate which I had already identified the problem was next to the meter. He insisted that I pay $225.00 for the estimate or he would leave. This was late on day three of no water. I felt that I had to agree or spend at least one more day (4 days) without water to get another plumber out, so I agreed to the price increase. The technician dug a small hole where I had told him the water was leaking. He then said to fix it it would be upwards of $900.00 to repair the 10 inch piece of pipe. I'm old and disabled and knowing that I couldn't do the repair because it was lower than I could physically get and needing water, I reluctantly agreed to the price since for him to leave it would already cost me and $225.00 and after talking to him, I was sure he would fill the hole because I wouldn't pay over $900.00. Either way I would have been out at least $225.00 for basically nothing. I felt so manipulated and conned when it was over. I would never give Parobek a recommendation to anyone. As for me, never again not with Parobek. As for them saying that they can't find me in their system, POPPYCOCK, their service manager called to try and get me to remove the truth and I hung up on him, nothing I said in my review are incorrect, it is 100% the truth. read more
