My kids have always come home singing songs and learning so much - by the time my oldest started Kindergarten they were already reading, writing, and way ahead of their peers - and it's all thanks to KCC. Sad to leave as our youngest moves upward and onward, but truly a gem in local childcare. We'll miss you!

We had a wonderful experience and the staff was very welcoming, caring, and honest - you see, our son at the time had yet to be diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). We were aware of his challenges, but didn't know what was causing them or how to help him. It was often an embarrassing and frustrating thing to experience as parents. However, the team at KidVentures, as well as the owner, guided us and supported us in our initial journey to have him evaluated - even though they didn't have to. Although he wasn't a good fit at the time for their program, I am indebted to their care and acceptance of him (and us). Because of those initial conversations around his development/challenges, we had him evaluated and eventually diagnosed. We identified him early and began those early ASD interventions and now he's 8 and thriving! Flash forward to July 2024: we have moved back to SD after a few years in Texas to be closer to family during Covid...and now our daughter, 3 years old, was ready for summer camp before school starts in the fall. I remembered how much we enjoyed KidVentures and reached out. Unfortunately their Liberty Station location was full, but it was great that this location had an opening for her! Yet again, we were warmly welcomed (the owner even remembered us!) and our daughter is thriving here during camp. We know she's in a fun and safe environment during the day where she gets to socialize, play, and engage in fun activities. Thank you KidVentures Preschool for always being a safe haven for us as a family. Your staff is just wonderful!

After touring one other daycare, Primrose was both our family's automatic choice where we wanted our son to grow. He entered daycare at around 4.5 months and he's been loving it since. He is what we call a fear of missing out (FOMO) baby, so daycare has been great in allowing him to move around in a safe environment and also learn. He's currently at 10.5 months and has learned so many things such as asking for more, clapping his hands, crawling around, etc. Like many others who provided reviews, I also am in agreement that all the staff have been warm, attentive, and invested in each child's development. They also seem be on rotatation and recognize each child within the school. Our son has been blossoming in the infant class with his teachers Miss Sekyoung and Miss Jessica. And he'll be transitioning to the toddler class soon with Miss Angelica after he turns 1 this year. Reena and her administration are wonderful and communicative. If there are any questions you can call in or email. - Daycare is secure, passcode is required to enter the facility. - Hours of operations work for us in picking up or checking in. - Monthly Newsletters sent out providing respective month's food menu and an overview of upcoming events. There are occasional events that they extend the invite for parents to participate. - Procare app provides us with updates on how son is doing, through pictures and details. It's something I look forward to during the workday to see how he's doing. - After our son started doing solids, the included meals from school have been helpful. For anything you are trying to avoid, you would fill out a intake form to provide those updates. They have an on-site chef. If you do decide to go with Primrose, Reena and her wonderful administration will get you set up. There are a series of forms to fill out to have your little one all set up in the system. Photography is also on the forms where you give consent for how Primrose uses your child's photos. Vaccination schedules will also need to be provided after your child visits the doctor. We have been quite happy with how our son has been doing since deciding to go with Primrose. If more information is needed, general information is available via their website, where you can also see pictures of the staff. If you are curious if your future little one or already out and about little one would flourish, reach out to Primrose of 4S Ranch for a call to discuss and a tour. You won't know if you don't come in yourself to check it out.

She loves her teachers and always shares positive stories about her day. When our 4-year-old mentioned a classmate was bothering her, the school handled it with the utmost care and concern. They resolved the issue swiftly while keeping both children supported--a true testament to their expertise in conflict resolution. My interactions at the school have always been positive. The school is very safe, well-maintained and efficiently run thanks to superb leadership and excellence in child development. Lifebridge is a gem in the community and a real blessing for any parent looking for peace of mind for their child's well-being away from home. Thank you!

I love how caring the Director Julie is - she knows every child by name, prays for them, and listens to the Holy Spirit. During covid I knew the school was being ran by someone who hears from the Holy Spirit - what more could you ask? I love that they do the pledge every week together, along with prayer, and they sing songs about Jesus in chapel. I have never had any safety concerns the entire time they've been there, I know they are in the best hands. One of my favorite things about Lifebridge is how they do fun spirit weeks and celebrations. My boys are always looking forward to exciting celebrations coming up, Lifebridge makes holidays memorable and add in a ton of flare in between holidays to make school more exciting! Summer school especially is also full of exciting themes - splash day with bounce houses, popsicles on the playground, etc. If they're ever having a hard time getting to school, I can usually remind them of something fun coming up they're looking forward to. We are not a big extracurricular sports family, but I LOVE that they get pulled out to attend Amazing Athletes every week. They get to experience each sport, as well as do fun games & exercises & they get stamps to show what they learned that day so I can ask them about it at home. They never want to miss it. Again, we are so grateful to God for the blessing Lifebridge has been to our family.

We never thought we'd be writing this review…read more We were the kind of CMP parents who showed up, got involved, and truly believed in the school. We helped advocate for the return of their kindergarten program and loved sharing how magical it felt -- the chickens, the nature-based learning, and the emotional intelligence philosophy. For a while, it really was everything we wanted. But then something changed. When a serious safety concern arose, we found ourselves feeling that the school's response didn't match the seriousness of what we shared. We felt like the focus shifted more toward minimizing the situation and maintaining appearances, rather than directly addressing the concern or making sure our child was fully supported and safe. We left feeling unheard and unsure that the school was willing to prioritize our child's well-being over maintaining a perfect image. We had expected collaboration and care. Instead, we felt isolated, with no clear communication or plan of action to address what happened. We're not sharing this out of anger or bitterness -- we're sharing it because we believe parents deserve to know how it felt when things didn't align with the promises we once believed in. CMP may look wonderful on the outside. And for many, it may be. But we learned the hard way that the true test of a school's values is how they respond when something goes wrong. If you're considering this school, ask them the hard questions. Make sure you're fully comfortable with the answers -- and that they align with how you expect your child to be cared for and protected. We wish we had been given that chance.

Every child and family have different needs and it was important that we found teachers and an administration that was willing to partner with us to address any concerns and proactively work together to find solutions. We have been very impressed with the leadership, admin and teachers' transparency, accountability and communication. So many schools can feel like a corporate profit driven endeavor and we have observed that Lifetime cares deeply about children development and curating their interests. A simple example is that we asked that our child be allowed to observe the classroom Montessori 'work' session in action before making a decision to enroll her formally (this would be the first time our child would observe a Montessori class in person). The school year had already started and the Director, Kristin, asked that we hold off until the second or third week of school so that she could support the teachers to protect the integrity of what they were trying to establish in the new classroom on the first week of school without creating a distraction. She could have easily agreed to allow us to observe sooner so we could enroll earlier (other schools did), etc... it's through small actions and decisions that we felt comfortable placing our child there with a team of educators and admin that truly put the children's wellbeing and needs first. They also have set up a system of room parents that are very helpful to guide fellow parents with onboarding, external play dates and organizing events. There is no perfect childcare or school, but at the end of the day, we chose Lifetime because we are confident that the whole team works together to communicate openly and will partner together to honor what's best for our child. It's also a great sign when the teachers choose to coteach together for multiple years, clearly, they are enjoying it :). Thanks to the whole team for putting in their efforts to create a space for children to explore, learn and play!

Our type of parenting and values align very much with the Reggio approach and the way it is being implemented at Dot to Dot. We admire the amount of sheer time and work the educators put in towards not only actively engaging with the kids during the day but also the time spent documenting their adventures and inquisitive behavior every single day via Kaymbu. These educators deserve all the recognition in the world and in all forms: from sincere acknowledgements to compassion to (most importantly) solid compensations. The way we like to gauge if something is working for our kids and that they are happy, is by evaluating their propensity to go back to an activity, or a play date, or in this case a school. Well, they are eager to go every single day, and they miss DTD when they are on vaca. (I only take this a little bit personally) This alone instills faith and reassurance in our decision for them to attend this particular school. Finally, I'll get off my soapbox and end with: These are incredibly draining times but you wouldn't know it when you observe the interactions between our kids and their DTD family. Thank you so much for all that you do, bc there is no way we could do it as well as you.

Ms. Angela, the social-emotional support specialist is especially incompetent at her job. My advice is to never share with her any difficulty your child is going through because she will use it to define your child for the rest of their time at Dot to Dot, even after the difficulty has long been overcome. They claim to work with parents but the truth is that they are deaf to what parents have to say and just want a one way communication. Dot to Dot is also closed for many more days than other preschools and this makes it hard for working parents.
