I recently got into collecting Pokemon cards so we decided to check out this shop. On the second level of the plaza that it's located in, parking is plenty but the spots are super slim and tight so I always opt to park a bit further. Inside, the space is actually pretty big as far as cards shops go. They have tables all across the middle for playing games or tournaments and they have an abundance of staff. They have cards on the walls of higher value and a wall towards the back when you first walk in for their graded cards. If you like looking through binders, they have PLENTY. Like binders on binders on binders. You have to ask them to look through it and everything is super organized. They have it by alphabetical order and they also have 3 foreign binders for Pokemon. If you're also looking for binders or sealed product or anything dealing with cards, chances are they have it. I love how organized this card shop is and they always have a good amount of cards to look through where I always have to leave with something. Probably my fav card shop in South FL I've found so far!

If you're curious about RC Car racing you can come in and chat with the owners, watch a race or the guys practicing, and most patrons are really helpful with questions to get started. Whether you are an experienced RC driver or new to the sport there's something for everyone. They do rent out some cars, and have parts available for sale in a pinch. There are practice nights, and you'll find some intense racing some Tuesday nights and certain weekends. You can see races announced on their instagram page (@rcplayground). Kids do great getting started on the mini z track and it's a great way to strengthen hand eye coordination. All in all, this is a great place! I'm really grateful to have an indoor track so close to FIU where I can go with my bf and watch some intense RC racing!

We came to RCP to use their mini z track for the Micro B and just fell deeper into the RC rabbit hole. We now have three Micro B's, a Mini Z racer, a set of 1/10 drift cars, and a 1/12 carpet racer. RCP has something for everyone. It's such a chill spot, the track fee is only $20, for the day, which is a great value. And everyone here is awesome, from the owners Jay and Alfie, to the main man Chris, who is an RC wizard. If you are in the area, stop in. You won't be disappointed. P.S. if you can make it to one of their SDC events, DO IT! They have teams that come in from Puerto Rico, and from accross the US to compete. It's something to see!
