We've been using Weed Man for at least 4 years. We previously were with another local company but then one year, our front lawn grass started dying, was offered no resolution, leaving me to seek out another company to fix it. Weed Man came immediately to evaluate the situation and went through the process of getting my lawn to look decent again. After a full year of them caring for my lawn and overseeding in the fall, my front yard started looking like we were residents who cared about life again. I was so happy to no longer be embarrassed with a yellowing, crunchy lawn. Now, my lawn is looking greener and fuller than it used to be. What I like about this company is how they make sure to warn you before they come which is important for pet owners and the safety of the pets, especially when they are applying treatments. They also schedule work based on weather forecast which eliminates needless water waste by having to water the lawn after a treatment. Often, I get a text notification telling me when they will come based on expected rain in the forecast, etc. Or that they won't come that day because it's too close to a day when we're expecting heavy rainfall for things like fertilizer application where heavy rain would cause nutrient runoff, environmental pollution and wasted resources for myself and for them doing the work. I have had to cancel services due to the holidays (winter prep and I have my yard decorated already) and they were very accommodating and responsive. I send a text to respond to the notification, they text back immediately, and they make sure to take me off the route for the specific service! As far as value, I think their pricing is close to the previous local company I was with. There's no contract but they do offer significant discounts if you prepay for the services. They have also started emailing all the receipts which is a greener alternative to the previous method of leaving printouts with the summary of the service provided. My only issue is that last year, I specifically removed the overseeding service from my services via the online portal but I still got the service. Possibly a clerical error that shouldn't be hard to fix this year. Otherwise, I've been happy with the services they've provided over the years! read more

I received service in August 2025 That sent me email suggesting what was needed. They came back and did whatever they wanted to do without my authorization now they have put this on my credit report for 117.00. Is unfair especially I didn't authorize service. Even after I explained to her that I didnt she said she had a recording message I agreed which was a DAMN lie, if this does not get remove from my credit you will be hearing from my attorney Im sick if companies playing around with ppl money thinking they can get over. I filed with BBB, nothing was resolved. read more

Do not use this service.... We have used them for quite a few years and last year I talked to them and they promised it would be better. This year they have burnt up our lawn and made it looked horrible. We had a manager come out and said he would fix it. Then we called into the office and they overturned that discussion. My wife contracted with Weedman several years ago and even referred people to them who hired them. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A COMPLETE DISASTER! They rarely showed up, even after numerous calls. Because they didn't fulfill their side of our agreement we now have dead grass and fungus that is costing time and money to try to fix. When my wife called to cancel and wanted all the money refunded, she never received a call apologizing or offering something to keep the business. We have been using Weed Man for several years. Our lawn has looked great ever since we started using them. One time a couple of years ago we had problems. A representative came out the next day and rectified the issue. We had the first treatment of the year today. Too early to tell anything about the results but based on past performance I expect nothing but good results. The technician, Adrian, was here when they said he would be. He was extremely helpful. The first treatment was great, cleared out the crabgrass which is my main problem. I previously used weed and feed several times a year but at close to $20 a pop vs. about $250 for one year of The Weedman I thought it made sense to try the service. My issues are: 1. Return of crabgrass (see photos) 2. Unclear explanation of what 1 year of service includes 3. Claim that they could not come back until after waiting 2 weeks due to EPA. Maybe this is true but sounded fishy. 4. No follow up after calling about crabgrass outbreak. I told them I did better with weed and feed and no one has called me to see what they could do/tell me I have unused service calls under the one year prepaid plan to get the situation addressed. Even if I don't have further service I could use it would be nice for them to follow up with me. Pros are: 1. No spraying weed killer myself, 2. Initial service totally clearing out crabgrass. 3. Competitive price to self care. At any rate I'm complaining about my yard, meanwhile people are still suffering from covid so total first world problem here but felt it was important to share. read more

If you want to grow grass which they promised to do, don't hire them. I hired them late last spring and they said it was too late to lie down seed. The grass that was there looked great due to their treatment. Then in the fall they said they could grow grass. It didn't work! So I cancelled them bc of that and the fact that the failed to answer my questions about animals digging in my yard. Then the guy called to talk me into keeping the service and apologized for not getting back. He said the best time to grow grass was spring and that he would seed for free and give me 10% off. I called last week to ask them to seed and the woman a said they don't seed in the spring. She said she'd get someone out to seed. But nobody ever came. read more

We have used Weed Man for the past several years at our home and they have done a fantastic job helping us transform our yard into something lush and beautiful. We have recently moved and our new yard needs a LOT of TLC. I have just set up service for Weed Man to get started at the new house. They have always been easy to work with. They can come by when we aren't home and will then bill us. We also weren't sure last summer if we were going to continue with service. They made an agreement with us that they would text before any visit to make sure that we wanted them to come out. We ended up using them all season, but it was nice to know that we had options and that they would take that time to give us such excellent customer service! read more

I hire this company very early spring and they told me it was perfect time to put down Crab Grass control. Well I'ts mid Summer and my yard is full off Crab Grass,weeds and Nutsedge. They came and sprayed it and now half my yard grass is dead. Called them again and they told me they cannot do anything about it. They said they probably did not put enough Crab grass and weed control and It's to late for anything. Be careful if you hire this company. I don't think they know what they are doing. We hired them to do fall treatments for a patchy, weed filled lawn. We caught them in time for 5 treatment. I am giving two stars because a portion of the treatments went well. When they came to put down grass seeds they did an alright job, except for he seeded heavily inside my raised garden bed which was a pain to remedy but luckily it was nearly the end of the season. This was not really a worrisome problem comparably. The issues came with out last two treatments. We received no heads up, and we had not gotten a chance to remove our leaves yet for the season. The technician blew all of our front yard leaves into the street and into our neighbors yards and left them there, which upset many people on my street. Before he started the leaf blower, I could hear him cussing us and saying rude things about how we hadn't picked up our leaves, but as I said we were given no heads up that they were even coming out. And the technician only did about a 5x5 foot area of the backyard. When it came time for the final treatment, a woman drove up, put a sign in our yard to say they treated, and drove off. We have security cameras all around our house so I know what they did and didn't do. When I brought this up with the company, I was told that I was wrong about the second to last treatment, and that our backyard had been treated when I know for a fact it wasn't done completely. I was also told they don't have women technicians, but anyone could have put their sign in our yard. Needless to say, I cancelled my spring treatments. read more

Weed Man cashed our check for $163 on 7/10 then called my husband demanding payment for the same services on 7/12 while I was out of the country claiming we had never paid so he paid via debit card. They double billed us for those services and now gave us a new bill for services that are less than what they owe us. We have submitted a report to BBB - beware of them double charging for their services!!! read more

The service was OK, but the low review is because of our experience. We signed up for a "trial" of the service with the promise that we would have the choice of choosing whether or not to continue after the trial. After the trial they continued to come, preform a task and leave a bill. We contacted them and they said it would be the last time, it wasn't. It took contacting them three more times after receiving three more unwanted treatments/bills to finally have them stop. This is very shady and unprofessional in my opinion. read more
