Called for a price on 1 yard of rock, $176 great. Drove 11 miles to get rock. When I get there I am told they will only put a half yard in my truck and it will cost $120. So I was quoted $176 now that I'm there they want $240. because they have to start the loader 2 times to load my truck twice. I would have been happy to pay maybe $10 extra to split the load but thats it. I never want to make them feel like I am causing any stress for them to accomodate their customer but I'm not going to be ripped off because they have to start the loader one more time. I will go to PRICE'S in Port Orange to get everything I need from now on. Good thing they are doing so well during covid that they can afford to send customers running to the competition. read more

Dialing back my review. Apparently a new policy of not delivering anything less than three yards of whatever you want. Not usable.

I have been working with Weedos for years. I usually love working with and supporting small businesses. I have personally had rock delivered at three different properties. In addition, I have referred many of my real estate clients to them. BUT that has all changed. I will NEVER work with them again because of a very, very unprofessional person at the company. Late last week I called Weedos to check a price for a small amount of rock and to ask if they deliver to Palm Coast and how much delivery would be. Mary ( the owner whom I have always dealt with) gave me the price for rock and said she would have to get back to me on delivery because that was out of their area. She then asked me where in Palm Coast, so she would know how far in Palm Coast. I gave her the address, But she said would call me back if she could find someone to go there. I told her I understand that is out of their normal area and that would be fine, as I would also need to be at the vacant property to show exactly where to drop the rock IF they could even do it. I called around and found another company in the Palm Coast area that could deliver rock whenever I needed it, so I ordered rock from that company. They were going to deliver in a couple days once I confirmed the area was ready for delivery. The next morning I get a phone call from a man who is at my property dropping off rock - He identified himself as Weedos driver. I explained there was confusion. I told him I never ordered the rock from Weedos and he said "yes you did and I am dropping it off". I did not have a choice. I kept telling him its a duplex with an angry neighbor and I had to be there if anything was being dropped off. He said well, I am calling you from the neighbors phone as I have lost mine. I am dropping the rock now. Nothing I said would change his mind. He then texted me a bill later that day (Friday) and proceeded to start sending me many threatening texts. I did choose to ignor a drivers nasty texts, as I had always worked with the company directly. I sent a check out like always the next business day ( Monday ) and thought this was behind me. This morning ( Thursday ) I get a whole bunch of threatening texts from the driver that he is headed down to file a lien on my property and I would never be able to sell the home. I called the office and explained that I had sent a check out the next business day ( Monday ) like I always had in the past. But as I was in Texas it might take extra time for them to receive it. I also explained to the owner about what had transpired so maybe she would understand how unprofessionally things had happened, but her answer was, "well we always threaten with a lien to get paid". I just gave her my credit card and am still shaking my head. All of this unprofessionalism over 400.00 dollars ( I have probably spent 4000.00 over the years with them) I did discover the driver is in actuality Marys son. So there is no way they will see this review and change anything. I just want to make people aware of how the son/ driver will behave. I honestly think they should have people pay in advance, as its their lack of customer service and follow up that created this situation. Never again will I use such an unprofessional company and I will tell anyone I can to stay away from them. read more
