Both of my daughters love Dr Blackburn as he has a warm, interactive and fun personality which instantly makes them feel at ease, even with complicated procedures. They have not expressed any apprehension or resistance in to going to the dentist since they have begun with Dr Blackburn which is well worth the cost to me even if his office is not within the network of my dental insurance plan. Dr Blackburn is not only a personable professional; he is also one who has extensive experience implemented into the quality to his services. He and his staff are knowledgeable, capable, and efficient. They provide a quality experience from the moment you enter the spacious home-like atmosphere of a waiting room, the comfort of private exam rooms and the finished friendly checkout process. You feel like a valued patient from beginning to end. COVID precautions are implemented by this office as masks are required unless in the exam/procedure process. Hand sanitizer is available and easily accessible. Social distancing is easy in the waiting area and staggered appointment schedules. Temperatures are taken for patients and screening questions are asked of everyone. Based on our family's overall experience, from start to finish (and ongoing) we all highly recommended Dr Blackburn and his staff! No other dentist will come close to providing the quality work and personal experience as you will find here.

This message is not a reflection of you but rather of your front desk staff, whose behavior today was both unprofessional and deeply concerning. I attempted to provide feedback regarding their communication, specifically their use of all caps in texts, which came across as unprofessional and dismissive. I simply asked for our son to be referred to as BJ in your communications to avoid confusion, and while we understood that his legal name cannot be changed in your system due to insurance requirements, the staff repeatedly ignored this request as if I was an idiot. Instead of addressing our concerns respectfully, they escalated the situation, made condescending remarks, and accused me of saying inappropriate things I do not recall, which I found unwarranted and offensive but the icing on the cake is when they dismissed our kids from the practice. I still don't believe it was warranted from my actions but it's clear they want to win an argument vs. build rapport and deescalate the situation. Deny me but to deny kids is petty and super unprofessional. Even I still don't feel as if me being dismissed from the practice was warranted if they went that route. When I expressed dissatisfaction, I was met with hostility, accused of violating HIPAA, and dismissed from the practice without justification. Your staff even brought up personal anecdotes unrelated to the issue, further aggravating the situation. It felt like they were ganging up on me during the phone call, which was extremely distressing and unprofessional. Even other low scoring reviews on here for your business you can see in their responses that they like to battle with customers. They meet people with hostility instead of trying to resolve the issue. I am deeply troubled by how I was treated, especially since my feedback was given respectfully and in good faith initially I admit I was frustrated but still never disrespectful when your staff called me. Which is very normal with conflict. Their responses, both via text and phone, were dismissive, argumentative, and lacked basic customer service etiquette. They have left me feeling unheard and unfairly targeted. I would appreciate it if you could contact me directly to discuss this matter, as I was denied the opportunity to speak with you despite multiple requests. My phone number is on file. They do not listen to your concerns at all! I have a ton of anxiety about going to the dentist and they had me with the MOST chatty hygienist in the office which just made things worse. They also said I had to update my health record each year so basically it would be starting from scratch....i don't think so.
