Great grocery store! Deli and bakery is my favorite part of the store. Always have good experience at Wegmans .

Everyone is always pleasant and helpful and really love all it has to offer. A few things I notice that are better at other Wegmans but not as good at this store. The pretzel rolls I gave up buying here but in the DC area they are FAR superior in taste & quality. The bakery staff work very hard to bake for the customers but just doesn't always achieve the level expected. My biggest complaint & that's assuming at all Wegmans ... they have a sign posted saying it's a full service butcher but they won't split cut chicken or turkeys. To me it's false advertisement. You're not a "full service" unless you fulfill the expectations of customers. Either the signs should be removed or list what you will only do. We're seniors and not as steady with knives and scissors as we use to be and cant afford a hazard with raw meat especially poultry. I'll be contacting Corp to find out why they allow signs to be posted but they cherry-pick what they'll do. Not what I call customer satisfaction. read more

Got hooked on Wegmans years ago ... The set up is amazing - every Wegmans vegetable department looks like a hollywood set! best bagels this side of NYC for sure! Some of the prices are a tad high though and it seems that across the board, this one included, Wegmans has trouble stocking the pure leave unsweetened teas!! Trust me not everyone can or should be drinking the sweet teas that are usually there. I have to give a special shout out to one of the workers at the Wegmans in FXBRG during a recent massive lightening and thunderstorm - he helped some of my fellow customers to get from the store to their cars along with all their groceries without thought to his safety - but he was truly thinking of theirs.. It's true, you may spend more in Wegman's but it's always worth it. Daily needs can be better priced than Giant or other stores and the quality of Wegmans's own brands is by far better than other supermarkets. The staff are happy, they love working in this market and it shows. While there are some markets that excel in some areas, none succeeds as Wegman's does in all areas. read more

For a place that gets rave reviews about service I found the service here lacking. I walked through the entire store and no associate spoke to me. I generally don't shop here and am used to associate who engage in conversation, promote their products and actually seem to care. This store really seemed to have an uptight, snobish feel which eminated from the staff. I guess if you think you are the best you can do that but I wont be shopping here. No Thanks read more

I LOVE WEGMANS.... I can't say enough about how great this grocery store is. It is the Walt Disney World of grocery chains. Never again will I be able to shop happily at any other store of its kind. The staff is extremely friendly ALWAYS (except for one "Debbie" that checked my husband and I out in the cafe once... she was truly just a miserable person so I will not factor that into this review) & the place is spotless. They have tons of organic food and fresh produce and pre-prepared food section that makes last minute dinners a breeze. I love this place! I'd recommend it to anyone, and I do quite often. :-) read more

The Wegman's Seafood Bar is a very good option for very fresh food. Try the Salmon, or the Corned Beef on Rye. The selection of draft and bottled beer is also very good, as are their selection of wine by the glass. read more

Best grocery store around! Always well staffed checkout lanes so never a very long wait time to check out which is nice. Best features are the wide selection of items and the fresh food. The selection of organic foods and grass feed meats can't be found anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and I won't shop anywhere else. Where else can you get everything you need and more plus sit down and have a delicious meal with a glass of wine before doing your grocery shopping?! Bakery is awesome and Sushi selection is fantastic. Be sure to get one of the crab stuffed pretzels from the ready to cook section. They are amazing!! read more

The food on the buffets is tasty, and it's a handy place to go if you are shopping there, anyway. Prices come in surprisingly high when all is totaled, and, of course, it's really a kind of cafeteria rather than cafe. Excellent crab soup. Prices on the buffet items go down later in the evening. read more

I enjoy the fresh salmon from this store. It's hard to find salmon not farmed in China and they sell it here. They also have very affordable prices on their Wegman's brand products. Nothing better in the area. The managers can be a little rude though and most of the staff tends to not be very friendly or welcoming. read more

You can't beat shopping at Wegmans. They have a great selection of organic fruits and veggies. Their fish and meat departments are the best. If you want premade food, you can find a wide selection. Their prices are more reasonable than Whole Foods and their selection is better. In my opinion, this is the best chain in America! read more

Fredericksburg has finally arrived. As a European, I can get just about anything I want here (within reason) that I want. Cheeses, English goods, German goods, and, organic foods. Fresh baked breads, amazing desserts, and a fanstastic Indian/Asian buffet. Yes, it costs more but it's worth having it all under one roof. The service is fantastic. You can ask for things you want, and they start appearing after a while. Still hoping for organic lipstick, but other than that, one very happy customer. read more

Great place to shop for groceries with reasonable prices, I can finally get my Salada Tea Bags locally. Have a great selection of store brand products, haven't found one we haven't liked yet. They also stock local farmer's produce. read more

My favorite grocery store in the area. I love the organic selection and the wide range of healthy alternatives that cater to a crunchy lifestyle. The produce is always good, plus the takeaway options like sushi or pre-prepped meals are a lifesaver for someone who works long hours every week but isn't a fan of fast food. They always have a map/index of the store located in the front by the shopping carts; it helped me get to know the store a little bit better. Love Wegmans! read more

I love Wegmans, it is always so clean and has everything you could ever want (1 stop shop) which i love! The produce is "ok" so I'm pretty selective with that portion of my list, but it's still good. I will say, as an introvert I avoid it at all costs during the weekends because it is SO crowded, unless late at night lol and it stays open pretty late which is really nice! read more

I came in tonight to do my regular grocery shopping. We come to this store all the time, but tonight I had a really strange dietary question in regards to one of my kids. I have a child that is dairy intolerant, but he really misses cheese. I asked the young lady working in the cheese area if she knew of any options in regards to helping him find something he likes. He's 14 so we weren't looking for a nice goat cheese etc. he just wants a simple American sandwich cheese. She walked me right over to the vegan refrigerated section and showed me two options for vegan cheeses! I never thought to look there at all. So from my 14 year old boy and I, thank you so so much for helping us find one more thing to help him feel normal in regards to his diet. He tried it tonight and was so super surprised! He can't wait to make grilled cheese for lunch tomorrow! And from me, thanks for helping me be the hero. We can now have pizza again too read more

Still my favorite store in Fredericksburg, but experienced a glitch today. Clerk made a mistake and double charged for an item. Seems he had no way to take that off the total after my CC was charged. I had to go wait in line at customer service to get my $1.52 back. If they can refund it at customer service, they should be able to do it at the register. Need a little better training for their clerks so they check the ticket before completing the transaction. Paying for their mistakes by wasting my time, no matter how nice they are, is cruel. At my age, my time is especially valuable to me. read more

I love Wegmans! We were trying to decide on where to go for dinner after we checked in to the hotel and came upon this place on TripAdvisor recommending their Seafood Bar. I am SO glad that we came here! Daughter ordered Salmon with Horseradish Sauce and Green Beans. She loved it. The salmon was cooked just right and wasn't overdone at all. Hubs ordered the Steak Sandwich with cheddar cheese and caramelized onions with a side of brown rice. He ordered it rare and loved it! I was a little queased out from the rareness of it, but I have to admit that it tasted good! I ordered the Tilapia sandwich with a side salad and I loved mine as well. Fish was nice and soft. The chef was great. She managed to cook everything all at once and served all our meals at the same time. I was amazed with that. Waitress was very nice and friendly. Loved the service and food! I wish that we had a seafood bar in our Wegmans! Will definitely return when in the area! read more

Their grocery selection is very good and I do most of my shopping at Wegmans. My beef with Wegmans is the employees. Some are very nice. Some are downright rude and nasty. Most prices are good, unless you get into the more exotic items or the foodbars. It is, however, the best choice in the area. read more

We were SO excited to get a Wegmans here in the 'burg. We drove to the one in Woodbridge and just couldn't believe how wonderful it was. Ours opened in late June, and it's just now quieted down enough to where you can shop in peace. Our routine lately is going on a Sunday, eating our dinner there, and then shopping for groceries. First, the food: they have so many food "stations", like a sushi bar, pizza place, burrito bar, deli, a hot bar, salad bar, and I am sure there are a couple more. Their pizza is sold by the slice and every kind I've had has been really good (and I am kind of a pizza snob). Their avocado sushi rolls have always been great, and my little boy loves the edamame. Hubby has tried the hot bar a couple of times (I think it's a mix of Asian and Indian dishes). You can eat right there where the food is, or take it upstairs to a really nice area with tables and chairs. We always go to this one little kids area with tiny kid tables/chairs and sofas for the parents. They have a train set and a big tv playing cartoons. Our little boy never wants to leave! As far as the grocery part, they have what I call a "Whole Foods" section and then a regular grocery store section. They literally have maps of the place you can use since it's so big! They also have a big kitchenware section that I still haven't seen all of. We bought an awesome vegetable holder thing that you put on top of your grill to grill veggies. The only thing I HAVEN'T been able to find there is vegetarian pasta (like the refrigerated kind). They may have it, and I just haven't gotten to that part of the store yet. We love us some Wegmans. read more

Yes they have expensive products that NO OTHER STORES HAVE but everything they carry that other stores also have are SO much less... If you don't agree then, compare apples to apples ... Kraft Cheddar is not the same as Gouda so when the Gouda cost more it should be obvious!Wegmans brands foods are often times better than their national brand competitor Wegmans O's and their Yogurts to name a few ... so pay less for the amazing quality and stop assuming that because the store is big, clean, and beautiful, that their prices are steep... They're not, they just like to make you feel like royalty while shopping and your check book like a middle income member of society. Their prices are actually pretty on par with Walmart! read more

I was happy to find fresh squeezed OJ at Wegmans but the price was totally outrageous . My friend pays $3.50 for a half gallon at another store not in this area and Wegmans wants $10 !!!!! Total gouge. I find many of their prices too high although they have a huge inventory and have items not found in any other stores here. Have to watch what you buy and compare with other stores. read more

This is one of the best food places in the area, but the people here are RUDE. I was behind some guy with fluffy hair and I asked him for a bar to seperate my food from his. He didn't respond so I turned around to leave and two older men STOPPED me from leaving...wtf? Basically they want trouble. So I eventually got loud with the guy in front of me and he just smiled started texting on his cellphone and tossed me a bar. THE NEXT 4 TIMES I was in there the two older guys behind me would always end up in the same line I was and the short ugly black haired guy said something along the lines of 'IT'S CUSTOMARY TO LEAVE A BAR! I THOUGHT EVERYONE KNEW THAT!' I ignored him the first 2 times he did it. The third time I said, 'You're welcome.' At which I later ran into the same fluffy blonde hair guy (whom I honestly didn't remember) and he repeated the same thing back to me when I was in line. Regardless the staff wouldn't do anything about them. You guys can kick people out you know? Then there's the blonde lady, who looks like she works there, who always bothers me in the parking lot near the food court. She always asks if she can talk to me for a minute. Then she sprays something in my face, that makes me feel really high, and then asks me if I'm a psychopath. What the world? read more

The BEST burgers and a tip-free service. the crab soup is delish! been happy with everything I have tried. the green beans that come with the meal is my favorite side. The salad is very good...but love those green beans!!! If you are cold, sit near the grill..the warmest spot to sit. the food bar is located between the deli and butcher. Came here on Easter Sunday and it was pretty busy with customers. They had about 3 customers per checkout line that was open. I only had 3 snack items to buy and an employee named Cameron came up to me and said he could ring me up really quick. So I was in and out of the store in no time!
