This is the top of the line grocery experience. The cheese selection is the best I have every seen. I love the Japanese teas and the organic foods are plentiful and reasonably priced. The beer and wine selection are second only to Total Wine. If you want top of the line beef and sausages, you will pay the price, but it's worth it. The staff are usually very polite helpful. Veggies are a little on the too expensive side. The pizza bar is wonderful as is the seafood bar. I always feel welcomed when I enter this store. Huge grocery store. I wanted to hate this place, because so many other groceries went out of business and many jobs were lost at the smaller local groceries when it first opened, but I can't hate this place. It offers so many natural, healthy, organic options it is incredible. It also makes healthy eating easy. Ex: If you don't know how to cook salmon, but want to try - pick up a filet already prepared with all the ingredients and instructions ready to go. this store has a ton of stuff, but it is a bit pricey. despite the prices, i can appreciate this place and all it has to offer. there were many hard to find items & unique items available in store. reminds me of store in LA or SD. amazing selection of prepared foods -- sushi, pizza, burritos, coffee, salads, bakery, and MORE. i didn't try any of them, but they all looked good -- and i make most of those foods to my own liking that it's hard to believe they would live up to what i like. awesome deli department -- lots of wegmans brand deli items that actually do taste good. huge selection in produce -- so much to choose from , but again they are priced a bit high, and i wouldn't say they were top quality. seafood department that has a lot to offer. if you're not entertained by what they have in the aisles, you can entertain yourself with the toy/model train above the dairy section, the tv's showing various wegman's cooking shows. read more

We just moved to Virginia from New Orleans. This grocery store is the most impressive grocery store I have ever been into. The produce is amazing. The best grocery store in Fredericksburg, VA. Shopping here is an event, not a chore. They have an extensive inventory of food (cheese selection is drool worthy) and alcohol (fantastic selection). The housewares department (serving dishes, holiday paper goods, gadgets) for food and entertaining in the home, changes seasonally. They have a very large organic food section. In addition to being a great, regular food shopping store, their catering department is exceptional. I placed two large orders for my retirement ceremony and one for the after party. The food was ready, when they said it would be ready. Everyone raved about the food, and since I had few leftovers, I know they were being honest. read more

My favorite place to go. Excellent customer service and produce but your trip to Wegmans isn't complete without a trip to the bakery for a sour cream cake donut. I'm a huge Wegmans fan so it was fun to visit a different Wegmans while I was in Fredericksburg. I was excited that it was located right by my hotel! This location has beer and wine, which my Maryland location does not so that was fun to browse. Great selection and very reasonable prices. Not everyone thinks of Wegmans for breakfast, but they have little coffee/breakfast sandwich counter that opens at 6:30am. I had breakfast here a few mornings. They have 9 coffee flavors to choose from, lattes, cappuccinos, seasonal holiday lattes etc. they even have some combo breakfast sandwich and coffee deals to save you some money. They had 3 high top tables and a little couch for seating. It was a nice spot for breakfast and then I picked up some snacks for the day. The fish counter/bar in the seafood section was unique, I'd love to make it back and eat there! read more

This Wegmans in confusing. I am from the Woodbridge store so I am just a bit set in my ways. However, the wine bar area is kind of cool.

This place is awesome. They have every food item you can think of. They also have a huge vegetarian/ vegan health food section. This is my go to place for organic and health foods in this area. The prices are reasonable too. They also have a huge wine and beer section. The craft beer selection is also great, which as a San Diegan I can appreciate. From time to time they offer tastings. I love the pre-made food section. You can dine in or get take out. They have Indian, Sushi, and a variety of other foods that have all been delicious. I could literally spend hours inside a Wegman's store. The people who work there are always very helpful and seem to enjoy being at work. read more

Favorite grocery store (or restaurant, or cheese shop, or wine store) hands down. It's a mega grocery store compete with about 5 different restaurants, a GIGANTIC wine and beer section, and a cheese shop that looks like it belongs in France. They have amazing prices, and the staff is so kind! However, I gave only 4 stars because they need to revamp their produce and cheese section. The produce is usually older than most, and goes bad a bit faster than other grocery stores. And while they have a unbelievable selection of cheese, they don't vacuum seal it like other stores, they just wrap it in Saran Wrap, and since it's not airtight, it mild in your fridge in almost 3 days. I'll always shop here though. It's a great store, but like any other establishment, needs tweaks here and there. Also, love that they accept Apple Pay! Paying for my groceries is a BREEZE! read more

I wish there was a Wegmans in every state! I absolutely LOVE how diverse this place is. Fresh produce year round, fresh meats of many varieties including individually vacuum sealed meats for quick storage. I try to stay away from the bakery when I come here because I don't want to get FAT as I gorge myself on the sticky buns, pastries, and pies...mmm mmm. Amazing selection of aged wines and micro brews. Love the fact that they also have the build your own 6 pack. Hot buffet style bar area including a salad bar and olive bar. Upstairs dining and ORGANIC ORGANIC ORGANIC everything everywhere! I love it! Cheezus Christ there are SOoooo many different types of Cheese! I could go on and on about this place. Some of the items are pricy but the majority of goods here are equal in price to competition. Wegmans quickly replaced my normal grocery store after the first visit. read more

The bakery is fabulous, the meat and seafood is fresh, but the produce sometimes gets a little picked over especially on Sunday afternoons. The wine section is also great because they have better prices than most and their employees have been sent to wine classes so they are knowledgeable and can recommend things for you to try. Wegmans is my all time favorite store. The prepared food section is fantastic and if you need lunch or dinner you cannot beat the selection. I adore the Indian food and the bakery is delicious. Everything is always fresh and delectable. If you need a gift this is the place to pick up unique beautiful greeting cards and a bottle of wine or even a great novel. I love this store. Big thanks for doing green chili weekend, we stocked up enough to last for a few months! Bought a couple of green chili and cheese bread loaves, they were incredible! My favorite things are the bakery...every dessert we have tried has been delicious. And the cheeses. And the meats...good selection of cuts, prices are reasonable. Tons of choices for prepared foods...that's a destination within a destination! Try it once and you'll be a fan too. THE HIDDEN GEM Just a classy spot to shop and hang out. The upstairs seating is a hidden gem. You can use the wifi, sit in a comfy chair, buy a pizza with your family and enjoy dinner in style in this upstairs area. You can bring a group and they can pick out whatever they want to eat, head upstairs and dine in style. They have everything you need. Clean restrooms, microwave stations, kitchen area and plenty off seating. they even have movie night and an area for the children. I've used this upstairs area for weeks to study. Wegman's s great place to shop. They have a lot of wonderful produce that I can not find anywhere else. It is a wonderful place to add on my late night shopping. The bakery is wonderful and the selection in farm fresh food is perfect for when the farm;s market is not out.
