I had a pizza tonight and it was actually pretty good . The crust was about half an inch thick but cooked and not a doughy mess like some other store's pizza.The crust was obviously hearty but it was actually pretty solid . I actually really liked the sauce ,it was better than many pizza places. The sauce was sweet and tasty and by far the best part of the pizza. The cheese was just alright, not great but good enough. I would get the pizza again , it's a good deal for $13.00. I was a frequent eater here before Covid but not so much anymore. I like the grab and go sushi and was a fan of their made to order subs, I'll have to revisit the subs again as Danny Special was my favorite. I love how PA has finally loosened its rules around alcohol to allow purchases outside of state run stores. This particular Wegmans has a decent selection on hand, however, the prices seem a bit higher than others. It could certainly be a product of paying for the size of the selection. As such, if you are looking to get the same thing you always get without seeking to try the latest beer, wine, or seltzer, you might want to pass on Wegmans. Have you ever just sat down and eaten at the Wegman's cafe? I don't think enough people use this function of the grocery store. Everything here is good. I'm writing this as I finish up the Sushi I just got. It was absolutely delicious. Before COVID we would do it anytime we were at a wegmans. I feel like I forgot how good the sandwiches, soup and sushi were here. They aren't messing around. Same way with all the products they sell in store. This is going to stand out but i really am not fond of this place. does it have exotic items? yup. are the staff mostly friendly-yup but the fact is for the most part this is for people who like to eat and don't like to cook. The shelves are well stocked with foods from all over and the the cheese department is incredible. BUT far and away it seems that the vast majority of the stuff is pre-processed. There are fresh meats and fishes but there are also a large number of dishes preseasoned, premarinated, preflavored-all things just waiting for you to apply heat. The fresh produce department is considerably smaller form other near by grocery stores like Assi Plaza and Giant. The overall feeling is that if you want wonderful food but don't trust yourself to cook it, then you WILL HAVE a very good time here. But if you like to cook for yourself. it is a disappointment. some basics like milk and eggs can be hard to locate. I had an easier time finding milk in Harrod's I know lots of people love it but I don't and this is a place when I go only when I can't find something in other local shops. read more

I stopped in to process a return and buy some groceries one evening, and it was a good experience all-around! The return went very smoothly and quickly, and as usual, everything was pretty easy to find in the store. I was able to find everything I needed and head to the check-out line. Using the self-checkout, I was able to get through quickly as well. Wegmans probably has one of the most user-friendly self-checkout systems I've seen in grocery stores. Weggies will always be my favorite grocery store ever. Unfortunately there are none near NYC where I'm from, but on my weekend getaways to north whales, I always make a trip to the wegmans around the corner. By far the best supermarket ever, it's 24/7. Inventory is always in stock, and there is never a problem -the workers here are by far the nicest people you will ever meet. All the wegmens I've been too (including buffalo, ny) the workers always help you if you're asking for something. They're knowledgeable and actually know where the items are - unlike Walmart. Wegmans is the best!! I was so glad when they opened up 6 years ago! I live about 25 minutes away but It is definitely worth the trip. What's not to love? Its next to 309 and a mall, plenty of parking, they sell beer, wine and liquor, the cafes are great with no shortage of places to eat (indoor and outdoor), and the food is fantastic too! My personal highlights is the Intense Chocolate Milk (which I can't find anywhere else), the pizza station, the bakery (the cupcakes and cookies alone are worth the trip), and the candy aisle (all so healthy, I know). There is plenty of registers to go to and all the employees are friendly and very helpful. I wish I lived a little closer otherwise I'd be shopping here weekly, but when I can make the trip it is very worth it. If you are in the area stop in, you won't be disappointed. read more

Ambiance: the Wegmans decor and interior design is standard and commiserate with the average Wegmans. This particular establishment is clean and the employees are courteous. It is quite crowded on weekends, so we prefer to do our shopping during the week. Quality: the fresh produce and perishables in general are what we shop for on a weekly basis. If you live in Pennsylvania, you don't need me to tell you that Wegmans is much more than a grocery store. Wegmans has become part of our identity in PA, although it started in upstate NY. (There is no apostrophe in Wegmans; look it up if you want that history.) This fairly new Wegmans in the Montgomeryville Mall parking lot is pretty nice. The parking lot is fairly easy to navigate with plenty of cart receptacles. The store is very well staffed with friendly people. The layout of the produce section is ok, not great, and the selection of vegetarian and vegan refrigerated and frozen items is ok, not fantastic. I've gotten hot and cold bar items here for lunch a couple of times. Everything is well labeled as to whether it is vegan or vegetarian, and I've found a number of good vegan options. Today, I had a vegan falafel patty that was freshly made and waiting at the hot bar. On another visit for lunch, I had a samosa, dijon mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. Both lunches were pretty tasty. The beer section is one of the best places to shop for beer in the general area, period. Check it out. The one thing that I'd really like to see improve here is the waste management. There is no way way to recycle the plastic, recyclable food containers because they don't fit into the small holes on the tops of the recycling centers. I know that this is long. Please remove your masks when addressing someone who is Deaf. The most heartbreaking thing that I have witnessed. This was my first time in Wegmans. It started out great. The wait wasn't long and they had plenty of variety. However, when it came time to get into the line for checkout I was beyond disappointed and in shock at how they allow such rudeness and unprofessional behavior transpire. First the signs say please stand behind the red line for checkout. There are two red lines, one by the register and one by the aisle which to a hearing person such as myself is even confusing. My mother and I had to ask another customer where the line began. When looking to check out, you are looking AHEAD not behind you, so there is no need to look behind you at an aisle for a red line. My suggestion to correct this confusion is to either have set people at appropriate locations to rectify this or simply put arrows pointing to which red line to stand behind. Second This is where we witnessed the most disgusting behavior by a female employee of Wegman's. Parallel to where my mother and I were standing, there was a young man with long sandy brown hair in a ponytail wearing a blue-ish hoodie and a white mask. It looked as though he was texting. He wasn't in the correct line. The woman employee with long brown hair wearing a mask approached him, "sir! Sir! You need to go over there!" Started off yelling at him. He didn't look up from his phone. She got even closer continuing to yell at him. He looked up and saw her, and made a gesture to his ears. I will admit even I didn't understand what the gestures meant In my life alone I do not cross paths with people who are Deaf. She pointed to our line, still wearing the mask and he shakes his head no. She starts wagging her finger at him, still yelling at him. She points to our line again then he starts to walk over to our line and is making a gesture of confusion. She keeps yelling at him, he walks to our line. Then we were called to Rebekah's line (this is her first day) and she said things change every day and the way she yelled at him was uncalled for. As we are checking out and he is in line we can still hear her and she is yelling " Do you want to leave!" I am so sad and angry at myself for realizing so late that he didn't say a single word the entire time. I realized too late that he was Deaf otherwise, I would have intervened. He was not rude in the slightest. He was simply confused as to where the line began. My heart broke as he approached a wall. He faced the wall and visibly took deep breaths. He walked to customer service and I followed behind him. He made a gesture to write. He was seating from frustration. The customer service rep gave him a pen but no paper. I removed my mask and asked him if he was ok and he wrote on the back of the receipt that "she embarrassed him and made him feel stupid." I asked the rep for paper and a supervisor. I asked the rep to please remove your mask and explained to the rep what happened. I turned around and the woman who what yelling at him was behind me saying "no! He was rude!" I responded "no, he is Deaf." She had the audacity to say "he heard me!" Her supervisor, in a blue shirt was literally standing right there and didn't correct her behavior at all. He only asked her to walk away. I explained to him what happened and asked that if any customers makes any gestures to have the staff simply remove their mask for a moment. Also to place the signs in a more visible location. He said the basic and expected "we'll look into it" and walked away. There was no apology or responsibility taken. This man was so hurt by this. And he was so kind. This was so heartbreaking. He thanked me and rubbed elbows with me. None of the employees seemed to care. As we were leaving, another customer who witnessed this said that, the same woman is always rude and yells at people. How can you sit back and continue to allow this behavior? I don't know if the man will ever see this post or if anything will happen please be kind and patient. Remove the mask if it will help. Everyone is going through hard times. This is not my home base Wegmans but I was nearby and needed a Wegmans run so I decided to give this location a whirl. I didn't spend a ton of time inside but what I did experience was great! It's in the same shopping center as the Montgomery Mall. There's plenty of parking available. There was a lot of traffic leading up to it but nothing crazy. First of all, their bakery section was WAYYYYYYYY better than either of my usual Wegmans locations! It smelled like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and as I was perusing the cookie section, an employee dropped off fresh cookies. I asked her if they have more than other locations or if all of these treats are new and I just haven't been there in a while. She told me that this location does a lot of bakery business and as a result, they have a larger section with a larger selection of fresh baked goods. Boy am I jealous!!!! Their choices were amazing. So naturally I spent $20 on fresh baked goods! Cookies and mini croissants, oh my! I came around 5:00 on a Saturday and although it was busy I was able to get everything I needed quickly and without waiting. I needed a fresh dough ball from the pizza section and I didn't have to wait. I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee and given my dough ball. I needed some cheese from the deli section and as I went to grab a number I was greeted by a man that was ready to help me. Some of the meats and cheeses are pre-sliced so it goes even quicker. A gentleman in the specialty cheese section greeted me and was able to answer my question right away. He even walked me over to what I was looking for and then returned to me to ask if I had the app and told me that it will sync to the store I'm currently in and show me the layout and where everything is. That's an awesome tidbit I was unaware of! The olive bar was freshly stocked and looked clean and well taken care of! And when it was time to check out, there were plenty of cashiers open and I only had to wait for maybe one minute and then was checked out by a pleasant girl. All in all, a successful trip. For some reason grocery shopping makes me happy so this was a happy, pleasant trip that I found enjoyable. One of life's simple pleasures. Love Wegmans. They have everything you need for entertaining or for every day grocery shopping. The prices of the groceries are comparable to other stores and the Wegman products are good. The added "help" does come with a price and if you are not careful it can substantially increase your food bill. My advice is to just be mindful of what you add to your cart. I like that there is wine and beer options for purchase in the store. The beer is mostly of the microbrew variety. They do have the option to build your own 6-pack which is good if you want to try a specific brand or flavor. I've even used this for a gift. The wine selection has both domestic and imported options. Wines are priced under $25. Wegmans does offer a quarterly magazine which features products, recipes and beverages. Wegmans will forever be my favorite grocery store. I appreciate the company as a whole and commend them on their corporate philosophy. They were voted one of the top companies to work for and it shows. This location is great. It is attached to the Montgomeryville Mall, so there is lots of parking. It has most of the departments you would find in the average Wegmans, besides a beer shop. I have noticed that this location never seems to be too crowded, which is a plus for me. I have been to other locations where you can barely navigate the store with a cart because it was so crowded. I have never had that experience at the Montgomeryille location. The food is always very fresh here. They have a wide variety of regular, organic and locally grown produce. They also have a section for gluten free foods, which makes shopping easier for those with a gluten intolerance. The staff is great, as you will find at most Wegmans. They are constantly restocking the shelves and are helpful when you ask questions. Wegmans can be a little pricey as compared to other grocery stores, but for the quality it really is worth it. If you get here between 10-2 you might be ok, but for a 24 hour store they stink. 3 pm and no parsley, maybe 3 bunches of bananas, no mr clean (apparently had a special and just don't refill the shelf). Often no poblano peppers. They just don't keep up with what is going off the shelves. I'm going back to Giant. They might not be as "cool" but they fill their shelves during the day. I really just don't know where you can go (other than out of state to a grocery store that sells all manner of beer, wine, and liquor; but I digress) for a better grocery store experience than Wegmans in Montgomeryville. The parking at this store is ample because it's attached to a mall. With that said, it's placed in such a way that the holiday crowds don't seem to affect the convenience of parking. They also have a smaller lot to the side that provides an entrance to their cafe and beer area -- it is rarely, if ever, filled. You will have parking options. The selection at this store is unmatched. From the cheeses, to the olive bar, to the ethnic food selection, to the regular grocery items, they have it. Sometimes you pay a premium price (especially, I find, when it comes to fresh meats and seafood), but oftentimes not. And when they don't have something you need, you can fill out a comment card, and I've found that they tend to get what you want when you ask for it to be stocked. I also find their large beer section to regularly have an ample selection of domestic, international, and craft brews. The best and the worst of this point? The turnover. It's the best because you know the beer you're getting is fresh. The worst? If you see something out-of-the-ordinary that you'd like to try, you better get it, because it probably won't be there anymore by the end of the weekend. My one complaint that kept them from getting a four instead of a five is the freshness factor. When I go to some other locally grocery stores I usually find that I have a lot of time to eat the fresh foods I purchase (dairy/meat). With Wegmans in Montgomeryville, I often find that the milk and meat only give you a few days. I don't know if they have quality guidelines that are more strict or the stuff just doesn't move fast enough, but more than once I've been shocked to get home and find out that my food has a limited shelf life. It's not all the time, but it happens. On the other hand, I've taken stuff back because of this and been given no hassle when it came to a refund or replacement. TL,DR; Better than Whole Foods. Order their Lobster Roll during their Tuesday Pub specials. Wegmans is the best supermarket / grocery store to have ever existed. There are so many great things about Wegmans, I don't know even know where to begin. I have to live in PA for the rest of my life, I have to have Wegmans. Since this is Yelp, let's first talk food - they have a restaurant and self service stations. The restaurant is called The Pub with repeating specials throughout the week and holiday specials throughout the year. One of my favorite specials is their lobster night - get the Lobster Roll. You will not be disappointed with all the lobster meat that they give. You can also grab food at their self service options and pay by the weight. They have tons of variety from classic comfort food to all sorts of Asian food. Not feeling like self serve? There's also pizza or you can grab a box of premade sushi. Wegmans is also one of the few places in PA where you can buy a 6pack of beer. There's tons of variety from domestic to imports, from big name to microbrews, in all styles, AND you can mix and match. You can get a single bottle for $3-4 or get a 6pack for $13. As a supermarket, they have all the departments you'd expect - deli, florist, butcher, seafood, bakery, pharmacy, etc. And everyone is so friendly, it's like they enjoy working there. Out of all the departments, I love the bakery. They have great cakes and desserts. Grocery prices are competitive with other chains, but I think the best deals are on their wegman-brand organic products. I'll let you be the judge on organic vs non-organic, but I always prefer organic and it is cheap at Wegmans (compared to other places). In addition to organic, Wegmans also tries to source from local farmers which is a huge plus as well. Lastly` I want to commend their corporate philosophy. This place is not where you want to go for your weekly food shopping. It seems like it will be the same price as Giant, but somehow I always end up spending what I'd spend at Whole Foods instead... a lot. The large selection of non-typical pantry staples always get me! Lemon curd? Hell yes I want that! An $8 bag of almond flour? I NEED IT! The place is organized kind of weird, and it's difficult for me to find things. I probably would get used to it after a while, but if you're looking for gluten free, vegan, or other dietary restriction foods, this is the place for you. Like Whole Foods and Trader Joes, it seems to have a HUGE selection of these specialty foods, but you can also get your typical Frosted Flakes or Jiffy peanut butter here. If you have more self control than me, or are looking for specific items, you might do pretty well with the regular grocery part. I am mainly giving this place 5 stars because of the non-daily grocery shopping part of it. The pre-made foods are always absolutely delicious, and if you don't go overboard, they are decently priced. The have $6 and $8 (I think) meals, where you can pick an entree and two sides. They have friend chicken, pot pies, grilled chicken breast, crab cakes and other food as entrees, and mac and cheese, green beans, risotto cakes, carrots, and many many sides to pick from. This is always a bit too much food for me, and I end up with leftovers for lunch the next day (not a bad thing!). Their cheese selection is wonderful, and they will give you a sample if you ask. The produce is always fresh and has a huge variety of both un-prepared and prepared vegetables and fruits. The bakery is also great, and I have yet to get a bad loaf. I love their antipasto bar, where you can get a little tray/platter of olives, hummus, cheese (mozz, feta), dolmas, stuffed peppers, pickles, etc... and pay by the weight. I always get a few things from this bar, and a roll or baguette for a perfect little lunch. I've noticed that the staff is always incredibly friendly... whether it's a teenage boy, middle aged man, or an older lady, they always box up your food with care and wish you a good day. I've been to Wegman's a few times since working in Lansdale and am satisfied with them. They have an amazing selection, especially, their prepared foods...and if I wasn't pregnant I'd probably say,"This sh!t can wait." and plop my butt right down in the bar. Aha. They aren't without some flaws: -though they have reasonable sales (requiring a Wegman's card) there are a good array of products you can definitely get for waaay cheaper elsewhere. -there is stuff I inexplicably am unable to find...like I can find calzones, this that, and the other....no stromboli. This is a market we will go to when we are looking for really good fruit or something unique like a not-so-common cheese or food product. I'd love to make this my normal market for everyday food shopping, but the prices can be a bit high. It's fun to walk around in there and they do have a great olive bar and beer store. Perfect example of prices too high, a bag of Wegman's Trail Mix is $12.99. I can get the same exact product at Wal-Mart for $5.99. Yikes! Certain items in the produce section are a little on the pricey side compared to other food markets, like strawberries and grapes, but everything else is usually right on par. One of the things I like is that you're able to buy certain items in bulk. They have a section with bulk items. So you know that feeling of being a kid and going into Toys 'R Us for the first time? That feeling of wonder and amazement... The Montgomeryville Wegmans is like that, but for foodies. Whether you're into traditional grocery store selections or want to mix things up a bit with eclectic international and domestic choices, Wegmans has it all. And it's HUGE! Seriously, there's an on-site restaurant, beer store, buffet, and nut store (near the back). The only thing missing is a place to sleep, although I'm surprised no one has tried that yet on their comfortable sofas in their living room area. You could quite literally live here! We originally started going to the Wegmans in King of Prussia, which is a little closer to us, but the one in Montgomeryville is even bigger--yeah, seriously! It would be remiss of me not to mention the staff here--they're great! They'll spend the time to actually walk you to items you're searching for, and will offer substitutes or suggestions if you're not sure what you need. It's as if Wegmans hired them away from Apple, that's how nice they are. :) I literally can't think of a single thing for them to change. read more

This review is for persons pursuing employment at Wegmans North Wales. I recently applied for a position at this store and it was a bad experience. I engaged in a phone interview and then invited for an in-person interview. All seemed to go well, but then I received a generic rejection email two days after my in-person interview. Attempting to find out why my application was rejected met with no information. I was informed that they do not disclose reasons why a person is no longer being considered for a position. In other words, they treat applicants in a cold fashion and then totally shut the door on any feedback. I find this approach to be exceedingly unprofessional. If this store has issues finding good employees, they are the cause. If you are interested in applying here, I would think twice....and then apply somewhere else. read more

Very disappointing experience from a company that gets such rave reviews. Last Thursday evening stop by and bought groceries one bag was left at the grocery store without being given to me. Called the store they placed in the refrigerator overnight. Left my name and number for a manager to call me the next day. Received calls from no one. Very shocked as Wegmans always receives rave reviews. But not by this customer anymore. read more

The food wasn't good. but there are giant forks on the wall so that is 1 star. And the soda machine ran out in like 2 seconds IT WASNT GOOOD! The food was cold! read more
