This was my first experience selling a home and this realtor was recommended. This was the worst…read morerecommendation I've ever received. Jon Kessler is the most condescending person I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. Instead of being a helpful person/realtor during the stressful process of selling my home, he was aloof and extremely unhelpful. He's an over-sharer, which is odd considering he didn't share very much about the home selling process with me. I know more about his personal life than I did about what selling my house would entail. And when I went to him for advice, my inquiries were met with "figure it out" type responses. This made working with him extremely difficult. I wish I had done some research instead of taking a blind recommendation from someone. He made the process a lot harder than it needed to be, and I would not recommend his firm to anyone.

Pretty much a guaranteed buy. Jon Kessler knew we were coming from across the country and were under time constraints. We gave him a long list of houses and areas we wanted to see and which days we were free. He didn't seem to want to show us the houses and kept coming up with excuses that didn't make sense. (We don't think he wanted to do the work, but he wouldn't just tell us that ahead of time). The morning we were driving to meet him at a house we clicked on the link he had just sent us, then 15min later he sent another link saying to use this address instead. I called him because the 2 addresses were in opposite directions and we had gone 20min in the wrong direction. When I asked him about it, first he said he couldn't hear me (we were in the car with our 2 kids so then I spoke louder so he could hear me), then he told me I couldn't read and follow directions and that he didn't give me 2 different links, and that he would no longer show us the houses because he didn't like my tone of voice (mind you he couldn't complain about anything I said because I had barely said anything!) I asked if we could just see the 4 houses for that morning that we had appointments for and he refused. That put us in a bind because we had such limited time, and it affected the people trying to sell their houses. I have no doubt he will accuse me of all kinds of things for posting this, so all of our interactions were written (except for the phone call where he fired me -before I could even say much) and I am happy to provide the emails and texts. We have since found a great realtor who was more than happy to set everything up for us. It was a world of difference between the two people.
