This is not a handicap friendly place. Get here early and during the week to avoid the lines. I couldn't imagine how stressful it could be on the weekend going through the store. When you are in the store you must follow the line through the entire building there are a few place you can just move to the end. If you collect a certain ornament this would be a place to get it. But I don't think I would go back after my visit. Many other stores in the city sell this brand of ornaments with no lines of people.

So, you don't have to go thru the entire store from the beginning to the end like other furniture stores. That makes it more convenient for shopping IMHO. Displays are well-organized, store is well-lit, and it's very inviting. We went in for some Christmas decorations. Though we didn't find anything we needed or wanted this time, I'm sure we'll be back to check it out again sometime. If you are in need of any piece of furniture or some home décor items, I'd suggest you check this place out. They have ample parking available for your convenience. Happy hunting!

But the selection is excellent and so is the friendly service you receive. There's even a restaurant on the premises. If you need anything at all for the home and you're looking for good quality items that will last a long time, try Pilipp first. Remember to bring cash because, oddly, they don't accept cards at this high-end furniture store.

Store is well stocked and brightly lit inside. We were assisted by a very nice German lady who spoke very good English. It was very pleasant and helpful to be able to have her around looking for what we needed. She told us she learned speaking English by playing with American children growing up. It's a very large store having everything from nails and screws to small appliances and garden items. They offer decent prices which is always helpful.

As the store name suggests, it offers many locally produced items...sausages and meats, vegetables, cheese, etc. It also sells some gifts and home décor items for which we came here. My wife happened to see something she liked displayed in the front window as we passed by this store in the morning as we headed in to town.
