I've been to several chiropractors over the years. Dr. Weimer is by far the best! He individualizes his treatments, specifically targeting what needs adjusting, rather than treating all his patients with the same approach. I started coming to him about 6 months ago in response to some severe pain in my back that had reached the point it was interfering with my ability to function. He discovered some structural abnormalities in my back that all previous chiropractors (as well as medical doctors) had missed, and he so he customized his treatment accordingly. The root cause of the pain was arthritis in my spine, and in just a couple of visits, he had helped me back to normal functioning. With our ongoing appointments, I am able to function largely pain free, and most importantly, I experience no reduction in my ability to function. I'm back to working out regularly, I bike several miles a day, and I can go for long walks and jogs without difficulty. My adult daughter has a complex set of joint problems, and after my experiences with Dr. Weimer, she decided to go see him. She has previously had multiple attempts at physical therapy, none of which have helped her with her joint pain. Dr. Weimer again determined some challenges that she was having that were previously undiagnosed, and he developed an even more specialized treatment plan for her. The result is that his adjustment sessions with her have proven more effective than any previous intervention at reducing her joint pain and helping her to feel better. We love Dr. Weimer! My whole family goes to him and he has helped us with so many different things! He's knowledgeable and friendly and he does great with kids too. Who would think if going to a Chiropractor for knee problems??? I didn't until I was in for a neck adjustment and happen to mention my knee was hurting. Dr. Weimer explained that positioning and alignment is as important for our limbs as it is for backs. Dr. Weimer is highly trained and knowledgeable. I have seen him about 20 times in the last year and a half for general discomfort, sciatic nerve pain and spinal stenosis. He is not the type to try and keep you coming back. He tells you what you need and you make the decision to come back. He is very nice and listens to you. I have always left his office feeling better. The best part is that you can get in the same day. He takes insurance and if you don't have insurance, he is very reasonable. You can either make an appointment or drop in. Oh, the other best part is Trish, the receptionist. She is so fun and personable. She makes a doctor visit way more fun. First off I want to point out that Dr. Weimer is an excellent chiropractor. So, if your need of a great doctor, I highly recommend him. He cares a lot about his patients. My complaint has to do with his office staff. If you expect to get an appointment or expect to cancel one, don't count on them answering their business phone (IPhone). Every time I have called his listed number all I get is the answering machine. His staff likes for his patients to us text messaging. Even with that, expect a long delay in response for them to answer back. I've used text messaging to contact them and out off all of those times, I've had four occasions where they didn't get back to me for one to two hours. One such day, I actually had to wait until the next business day to get a response back. The only reason I got that response was because I sent them another text message. The excuse I'm always given for this is they have a lot to do (short version). I feel they are incompetent. In other words, "they can't chew gum and walk at the same time." read more

If Dr. Weimer had become a major league pitcher like he almost did, I'd still be unable to raise my right arm without screaming. When my arm and shoulder ceased working, my HMO doc simply sent me to the HMO class on "shoulder pain". Then I was eligible to see their smiling HMO physical therapist who spoke kindly, took my co-pay and gave me a photocopy of shoulder exercises to do at home, which nearly killed me. I put the photocopy aside and went to Dr. Weimer, who was recommended to me by several tall people in my family who were tired of me asking them to reach things off shelves in the kitchen because I couldn't raise my arm. Dr. Weimer listened, looked, examined, tested and took plenty of time to determine the problem and treatment. Never in a hurry, his expertise, training, patience and strength have given me back my shoulder and the use of my arm, and he continues to help me get stronger. 3RD TIMES THE CHARM! When I first moved to Modesto (ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO) I established with a chiropractor that I am no longer with due to feeling like nothing but another body in the office. I contacted my insurance and found one that was maybe a step up from the first try a couple years prior. When I called to set up my first appt I instantly felt like I was home. The voice on the other end was nothing less than perfect. The tone and response was exactly what I needed coming from my past (horrible) experiences at the previous chiropractors. Dr Weimer has cured my migraines. I used to have crippling, go to bed, vomit with the pain migraines for several days in a row every month. I tried TMJ treatment, which worked for a couple of years and was very expensive, but my migraines came back with a vengeance. I have been seeing Dr Weimer for a couple of years now and haven't had a bad migraine since my first appointment, and haven't had any at all in at least 6 months. If I could I would give this place zero stars, I went to see them in March 2014 literally a year later in the middle of July 2015 I get a billing statement stating that I owe close to 300 dollars. I was told that my insurance my approved when I went so obviously I'm going to go to them and then year later I'm getting billed that my insurance isn't accounted for. After explaining how a garbage can had fallen on me, that led to the explanation of the other problems I have been living with for some time. He performed a quick exam assessing my overall strength, balance, and asked about my pain level. He replied he could help me, and for the first time in a long time, I actually had some hope I could receive relief from my pain. My conditions have been ongoing since 2003, and I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, Carpel Tunnel, and a tear of my right bicep tendon. These conditions caused pain, numbness, and loss of strength. My pain was about a 7/10 on a daily basis. Doctors had prescribed various medications: a wrist brace for the Carpel Tunnel, physical therapy for the bicep, and condescension. My life had taken a great hit having lost much strength in my arms and legs, not being able to stand for long periods, and losing the energy to complete everyday tasks. Socially, I did not get involved as much as I could have. I had resigned myself to living in pain. In the few weeks of seeing Dr. Weimer, my pain level has dropped to a 3 or 4, and my tendencies toward social interactions have taken on a more familiar state. People at work are saying things like, "Oh, you must feel better!" and "You seem like you're in less pain!" My sleeping patterns have become much better, my standing for 8 hours a day doesn't cause the same amount of pain, and my mental faculties (such as cognition and sociability) have improved. I have less bicep pain, the numbness is absent, my muscle strength returned, and my posture has improved. Interestingly enough, I now fully realize how much pain I had previously been in. I would highly recommend Dr. Weimer to others. I've given out his cards, and now believe just because a medical doctor says "This is all we can do for you", doesn't mean they are right. I've crashed through walls, toppled telephone polls, rolled down embankments- please note that I was not at fault for these accidents, but that does nothing to ease the pain afterwards. Most recently I was hit from behind by a car going around 70mph while I was waiting to make a left turn. I was knocked unconscious, and the force of impact snapped part of the seatbelt, allowing me to fly forward, the force of my body recoiling and flying back broke the drivers seat, leaving me to tumble forward and back like a rag doll. My car was totaled, but things could certainly have been worse. I was able to walk away from the accident, but my body was in chaos. Working with Dr. Weimer was amazing, and I appreciated how varied his approaches were when dealing with my pain and ailments. There was no cookie-cutter treatment. Each visit I was evaluated and treated in such a way that was specific to my body and pain level. My questions were answered, and things were explained to me without condescension or annoyance. The office worked to get me in regardless of my erratic work schedule, and have been great about squeezing me in on days when I woke up unable to function but didn't have an appointment. Treatment has done wonders for my mobility and pain. I am still dealing with the effects of this accident a year later, but consistent chiropractic care has helped control my headaches, allowed me to regain motion in my shoulders and hips, and helped to manage general flare-ups. Dr. Weimer is incredibly knowledgeable and gifted! When I started seeing him, I was suffering from a 15-year old injury, and my mobility was severely limited as a result. I was also in a great deal of pain every single day. I had been told by several doctors (including an orthopedic surgeon) that surgery was my only option for improvement, but I didn't want to take that risk. I was barely 30 years old, but my body felt at least twice that age. I thought there was no hope for me, and that I would just have to live that way forever. When I met with him, right off the bat, he just knew things about my injury and it's effects on me, and his first treatment brought immediate relief. I recently moved to the area. I chose Dr. Weimer for his location. I needed to continue treatment for a whiplash and hip pain associated with a recent automobile accident. The office manager is welcoming and friendly, the office is clean and pleasant. Dr. Weimer is professional and very knowledgeable. While my treatment for the whiplash was continuing successfully, at the time of one of my appointments I was bothered by my chronic SI pain. I have had this problem for over 15 years, it has been diagnosed my several MD's as a ligament tear. Cameras were used, many tests were done. Much opioid pain medicine dispensed over the years. As I was describing the pain to Dr. Weimer, something I said caught his attention, and he began treating my psoas muscle. I felt immediate relief. Anyone who has suffered from a chronic pain issue of the low back can understand what a big deal this is. Obviously the pain returns, but the point is I can relieve the pain without medication.
