I pulled up to the building and sat outside the front entrance for 10 minutes and no one came out. I called the office and was told someone would be out in just a minute. (when you call the number listed, you are not calling the office but an answering service). After 20 minutes of waiting and 3 phone calls to the office, I drove around and found a parking spot that was permit parking only, but I didn't care because I was already late for my appointment. When I was in the exam room the technician goes over my information and states I am there for a mammogram. I corrected her and said a mammogram with ultrasound. She told me my insurance would not cover the ultrasound, and she could only do the mammogram. I told her I would self-pay it's not a problem. Then she tells me I do not need an ultrasound. Excuse me? If it's written on my script directly from my OBGYN, then yes, I do need it. Then I am told there is no doctor there so I wouldn't be able to get it anyway. That is a flat out lie! If there wasn't a radiologist there, then why do you sit in the waiting room after your exam to get your results? There was most certainly a radiologist there, but the technician was refusing to perform the ultrasound which was written by my physician. At that point, I gather up my things and walk out. She is not a physician and should NOT be giving medical advice! MY OBGYN faxed my script to Weinstein Imaging on 2/4/2025, 3 weeks before my appointment. That gave the office plenty of time to call me and let me know the ultrasound was not covered and ask if I wanted to proceed with the exam and self-pay. You do not assume anything when it comes to someone else's health.

I was treated with kindness and dignity, then shown to a dressing room to reassemble myself afterwards for privacy. The facility was clean and efficient. According to its website, it provides assessments and treatments for cold, flu, COVID-19, sinus problems, infections, allergies, rashes, migraines, sprains, strains, orthopedic injuries, and more. Days ago, my husband had a bad fall, and he suffered many injuries. He felt concerned about one particular area of his body, so I recommended that he go to an urgent care. He chose this one. He did not complain to me about the employees here. He said that the staff did an x-ray, and their interpretation was that his rib was not fully broken but might be either slightly cracked or bruised. They said that his rib would heal on his own and to take pain medication. The staff also briefly looked at his other injuries and said that he was doing OK and would heal over time.

If I ever get this weight off, they're first I'm going to for skin removal LOL! The main complaint thought is definitely the front desk in the Park Manor associates side needing to be better about answering calls. I work front desk, I know it's possible and I've seen them improving drastically- it seems they replaced the old staff with people a little more thrilled for their job. My job is a hotel, the phone is constantly ringing, and I have a million other things to do. And I get paid a fart and a smile (basically nothing is the point), so I get their standpoint but I also question it and have gotten flustered with it because I find they get paid more and are always way less busy then my job- so I don't get the wait times. Coming in and seeing three on staff, one person just twiddling their thumbs, but the phone not stop ringing is a bit off putting. Overall though, through my frustration I stay with this office.
