There customer service is much better and the cost is much lower. On average, I have spent $100 more per year for the last 13 years that I have been a loyal customer at Republic. They missed pick up 3 times and were confrontational with us when we called. Made promises but did not follow through. Of course I have now moved to STEVENS WASTE. After calling Republic to pickup the rash can, we were told that it would be done on a specific date. Well, that day has come and gone. They did show up and emptied the can that had nothing in it though. After calling the company, I was informed that it will be done on Monday and that they will be charging me $30 to pick up the can. REALLY. I have paid about $1,300 more to this company than I would have paid STEVENS over the last 13 years and now they are dinging me for an additional $30? Well, as President of the Homeowners Association there will be no more Republic Waste on my watch. The last neighbor will be canceling this coming week. As a retiree, I have nothing better to do with my time than to make this happen throughout the township in which I live.
