I originally went to him because I had minimal range in my neck. As soon as he adjusted me the very first time I was able to move my neck full motion again. At my first appointment he gave me a complete exam including x-rays and explained to me step by step what my issues were and what he was going to do to correct or improve them. He has easily become one of my favorite Dr's and now my husband goes to his office as well. We now go every two weeks and I can now actually feel when my body starts to go out of alignment... Amazing; changed my life--even got me walking more like a normal person again. Even more important, because of her keeping my neck adjusted, I was able to quit the meds that were making me suicidal and get on with my life. Unfortunately, that chiro had an injury that left her unable to practice and I saw her associate for a few years before I found Dr. Levy. Dr. Levy is great; I've been seeing him for several years, and always, always leave feeling better. He's able to treat injuries with gentle manipulation of the bones that medical doctors would put in a cast and prescribe drugs. Also, though, if he were unable to treat a condition for any reason, he'd refer the patient to an appropriate doctor, not bluff his way through it. He was with the space program in the 60s--worked for NASA--then had a life-changing revelation that led to a major career change. He's in the office Monday thru Thursday and accepts Medicare. I highly recommend him; a monthly adjustment keeps me from needing more serious, costly work done. (Why four stars instead of five? He smiles all the time!)

In that time, I've been treated by close to a dozen (maybe more) different chiropractors (kind of crazy). Because of these experiences, I have a VERY good gauge of which chiros are good and which ones are "frauds", whether it's their technique, or their professional practice or just too damn rough. Dr. O'Donohue is not only one of the most kind and caring people I know (let alone most caring chiropractor with great "bedside" manner), she's also a true and highly knowledgable professional. I'm constantly impressed with how she customizes my treatment for every new issue I have and not just giving me a generic adjustment and sending me on my way (the latest issue being a herniated disc between L4 and 5. Totally my fault.). If she feels you need strengthening exercises as a form of preventive care, she will spend the time to show you how to do them appropriately. Dr. O'Donohue is all about her patient's recovery and not about how many visits/payments she can get out of each patient, like a lot of other Chiros I've been to. If you are new to the idea of chiropractics, whether for back pain or other potential health issues, take my word for it, it works! Dr. Blatt was very thorough throughout my visit with him. He listened as I explained what I was going through, and actually took the time to explain to me what was actually happening and how it needed to be addressed so I could understand it, instead of just telling me what to do. During the entire appointment he made me feel like I was his priority, whereas at other doctors offices I often feel the experience is rushed and there is little interaction between doctor and patient. That did not occur here. The approach Dr. Blatt took with me was really different from other chiropractors I have visited in the past. What he did was much more calculated and specific, and it was very low force. It was called tonal correction and was something new to me, but the results I received were very effective and it actually made a lot of sense. Within 1-2 days my pain was gone. While it was not instantaneous relief, the results I received have been long term which I feel is more important that immediate relief that does not solve the underlying issue. I was able to sleep a full night of sleep, work out, turn my neck and sit comfortably though out my work day without feeling any discomfort. He was really upfront and honest with me about what to expect every step of the way and we mapped out a plan for me that delivered what I came for and then some. Occipital migraine pain, was a result a severely compromised spinal disc issues and misalignment. My neurologist, neurosurgeon, prescribed pain medicine and strongly recommended surgery. Not ready for either, I turned to Dr. Wolff as a last resort before considering extensive surgery. Visiting him 3x week at first, then 2x a week, and then 1 x a week has made vast improvement in my overall body stature and my mindset within a relatively short timeframe.
